The cool thing is that he's playing an even 130 BPM throughout the entire song. How? By keeping the time with the cymbals. listen closely. He IS counting a one two three four, but with the cymbals.
Saw this band when they toured with The Word Alive and spoke to this guy after the show, not only is he impeccable live but he's a friendly guy too, really humble. If you get the chance go see them just for him!

It’s all about the accents and hitting the notes right. I mean, to achieve this level of focus and accuracy takes immense practice (and a tiny little bit of skill)

Dude your drumming is super interesting! ,I personally wouldn't have my cymbals that low but hey, its whatever you like man haha And your use of ghost notes is astounding and I think it adds a much more musical and dynamic approach to this style of music instead of the computer like grooves haha when you change the subdivisions from 16ths to triplets at 0:50 through out that groove, idk, it just sounds freaking amazing and musical to be, and its a breath of fresh air honestly haha would love to see you use this type of approach in an actual mix that is released.
