Unlike the United States , other western countries, especially the UK, the problem for international students coming there is that most of the Universities do not keep any standardized tests to evaluate the students abilities. Along with this, agencies are making use of this situation. I would say the immigration system itself has lapsed. That's why students with zero ability are coming there, and universities are welcoming them just for the sake of funds. The other thing is that students can work anywhere for 20 hours. Here in the United States, students can only work on campus for 20 hours. But USA Universities make sure that the student has proper funds before issuing an immigration document, plus the admission process is harder than in any other country. USA Universities make sure that the student has the ability to pursue a master's in the USA with their standardized tests like the GRE, GMAT, etc., along with the required language tests. This is not the case in other countries.

I work in an agency...we do the orientation and proper conselling about the education system abroad,but to my dismay we get very negative comments and rude behavior from students and parents.They don't want to believe the abroad education system is more advance and researched oriented ,student have to do a lot of self study.He/ she need to work hard to excel in earning a degree.
But they just want to know about how many hours they can work...how many years stay back they get...what is our service charge..

I came as a PR to Australia. After lot of struggles working in jobs from cleaning and whatnot I was mentally ready to accept the fact that say goodbye to my dream job. Then things turned out. Took years to find the job in Bridgestone now. Ok. Something close to mechanical. I fit tyres with wheel alignment including trucks. Like the Mayor said luckily I didn't come as a student. I was safe being a PR. Just job hunting. Struggle was limited supply of cash to survive. No clue whstsoever and what to ecpect.
If you like to work as a bus driver or truck driver then there are plenty of jobs in Australia. Good pay and enough overtime hours..

@@atheist-cj4qd Making savings is possible. But you have to work may be a second job. Highly taxed. I pay around 21% of tax. If you work overtime the tax bracket changes. Rent is high. As per your CMA it works only in private sector and the Australia does have re evaluation process of certificates. Then it's not the certificates. Australian experience. Australian dollar is not stable in terms of currency exchange. So Australians choose South East Asian countries for holidays. That should give an idea. Inflation is getting high. If you like the idea of savings middle east is the best. If you like the lifestyle and raise family Australia is the answer. Savings cannot be guaranteed. No jobs are safe. So tread carefully.

Many of the people are ready to migrate to some other countries mainly because of two reasons. Though educated ill mannered society and people, outdated system of judiciary, unemployment and low payment scale. Other countries, Especially Middle East countries are so secure and safe to venture out. Britain faces the aforesaid crisis because of large number of migrants from India. Let's venture out with some other countries.

As he said with loan and expense to studying in London, I don't know its worth to our future. If you are coming like study and survive with your partner then its okay. One can take visa and live here. But now situations changed. No dependent can come. So its very difficult to survive without supporting money..

I did my education in India and got job offer here so i don't have any liability of loan repayment etc. Even though I am working here for more than 5 years but still could not save much money because of inflation so imagine for those students studying in UK its really hell. Think twice before you act that's my advice.

My humble request is you complete your education in India by getting admission into good colleges. There are many courses like engineering, MBA, Chartered Accountancy, LLB, Nursing, MBBS, IIT etc. To get admission in these courses one has to get through Competitive Examination. This can be achieved by taking coaching in reputed Coaching Centres along with lot of hard work. Do not waste your Parents hard earned money by taking loans from bank any selling property.
Now-a-days you can get a good job in India if you are competitive enough. Don't fall for the advertisements you see around you. So only hard work can bring smile on your face and nothing else.

I am a UK resident with work visa and I think I could relate to most of the things he says. I personally know a couple of students who surivive on charity food banks and support from friends groups even after completing their education. They are indeed staying with family and kids , but still struggling to meet ends. But that doesn't means everyone ends up like that.
If someone ask me is it worth migrating? My answer would be yes / no depending on your circumstances and how you see your future.
Anyway i know a lot of mallu couples in UK planning ahed to take early retirement and settle back in Kerala like this guy ( even though he is a mayor )

I live in usa and I know least 5 students who completed the study and was forced to leave coz they didnt got a job
.. the market is not open for buisness administrators or any other useless arts courses. Even people completing/ enrolled for Masters in Statistics, Mathematics or Chemistry are struggling real hard to find an internship. So if you dont have big chunk of money then please dont bother else do the homework..and come on its the bitter truth..

I don't know the reality about UK, I'm living in Australia. Here I'm aware of so many Malayali students. Many came here taking loans. No one in my knowledge had to go back and financially struggle. Not saying everyone is making it, but when majority are leaving India for better life, people who are left behind are under pressure to borrow money beyond their means. Truth be told, there is no peace + future in India. India might financially thrive in future, but peace, fair politics and bureaucracy, and religious harmony is a distant dream.
Whatu said may correct, early professional going UK and other Contry now everyone going that may cause issues future, all are not eligible and talented. There should be some restrictions may come, Am working in IT early our company getting H1B in US With a success rate of 90% now it came down to 30%.
