I had the xm5 but left ear bud kept falling out. Loved everything about it other than that. Returned and bought AZ80. They fit great sound good but just not as loud. I mostly play golf in them and use at work sometimes. Not sure if I should just order tips and get sony back
Denon and Gemini II for sure should be there - probably the best sounding earbuds I’ve ever tried. A bit more expensive that those in this list, but they match the ‘premium’ title in the video :)

I’ve got the Sennheiser M3, have had them for about a year and a couple months. They have yet to fail me or die. Both buds are still in great, working condition. I haven’t had any connectivity or sound issues with them (yet).
I also have the Sony WXM4s, which I had to exchange for a new set when the right side started to die on me way sooner than it was supposed to. And this was like 6 months into of me having them. Best Buy exchanged them and gave me a brand new set. I’ve had the new ones for about a year now and haven’t had any issues whatsoever -EXCEPT!!!! The fit. I really DESPISE those memory foam ear tips they come with. Omg. Those things leave my ears super sore after about 30 minutes EVERY TIME. Hate, hate, HATE THEM! I use the silicone ear tips from my Beats Fit Pros (another set of earbuds that I own, which have a GOD TIER fit, but aren’t the best sounding out there. They’re loud, just not loud enough for me, especially when compared to my other, more elite buds) and they fit way better like that. The SM3 sound better than the Sony XM4 imo, but the fit isn’t the best in the world tbh. They fit better than the XM4s, but the SM3 with the wing tips require constant readjusting bc they start slipping out or moving to the side which is annoying at times. They’re comfortable, don’t get me wrong. They don’t leave my ears sore af like the XM4s, but they’re tolerable, and I tolerate them even with the fitting issues because of that sound quality. The SM3 are God tier when it comes to how great they sound. Loud, bass heavy, treble is on point-they just sound amazing. And it looks like they didn’t change a thing with the SM4s when it comes to the physical structure, so I’m sure they have the same fitting issue with the wings making them slip out of place after a while. If they made them fit like the Beats Fit Pros, they’d be untouchable among all the earbuds on the market.
I ordered the Momentum Sport so let’s see how they fit me. I really hope the wings do them justice for me bcuz I know you said the wing tips did nothing for you. All of our ears are shaped differently so I’m hoping I have better luck with them than you when it comes to the fit. 🤞 Thanks for the quick review. I subscribed to your channel!
When it comes to sound quality how do the Status Between 3anc compare to the earbuds in this video?
Honestly status buds are kinda in their own league when it comes to sound.
Some people either really love it or really hate them doe.
It would be very useful to have a secure fit rating for running and weightlifting.
My use case scenario is running outdoors, weightlifting indoors and on an airplane, no other use case scenarios for me.
I'm certainly not alone.

Hm tough choice I would say opera 5 but, the az80 are a good contender also I've owned many tozo earbuds and tend to be a little muddy/ bass heavy its kinda a running theme. But opera five do use three drivers for different frequencies...
Those 3 all sound really great, if you did a “blind” test I’d say Opera 05.
That being said Tozo Golden X1 is best option between the 3, all around fit, EQ, sound and price.

Good content. I personally believe the best is the Devielet Gemini 2. Had them for a bit but couldn’t justify the 450 price tag
I’ve got the Momentum 3 and I have absolutely no problems at all with them. And they sound great. Wider frequency spectrum than the Technics. But hey, that’s just my opinion and ears.

my momentum 3's left battery dead after 3 months later, now i am using technics az80 and i could say that az80's clartiy and anc much better senheiser but it's better to check sennheiser mwt4 anyway

Which are the tips that you bought for the WF-1000XM5s? I like the earbuds, but they fall off my ear frequently. Plus the foam gets really dirty, which I really dislike and makes me not want to use them.

@@Fredo.heavyy Thanks. I wanted to let you know I bought them for both AirPods Pro and the Sonys. These are fantastic. I’m surprised how well they fit my ears. I feel like I bought 2 new pairs of earbuds. I honestly wasn’t using much the Sonys because I don’t like how they end up getting dirty and grimy (plus they would routinely fall off my ears). The sound is great. As with the AirPods, noise cancelling for me with them has incredibly improved. What a great find. Thanks again!
@@Fredo.heavyy I consider to return the AZ80s because there is no stock tips available to order from their website and their customer support doesn't seem to be great. I don't like 3rd party tips and experiments so I might keep my Bose QC Ultras instead. Soundwise they're pretty much on par for me but on the other hand hate the constant stuttering and audio cut outs and the only way to stop this is uninstalling the Bose app or removing the earbuds from the app once everything is set up. In this way, all of my connectivity issues disappear but when I purchased the QC Ultras, the price included the app as well. Though choice.

You missed one thing: when outside, you need to turn the wind-block option on Sennheisers and then they are godly for outdoor activities. I cycled over 100k with most of these buds, swapping them every several minutes, and Sennheisers were the most silent ones with that option on. Sonies used to have that option for XM3s and XM4s, but in XM5s it's gone and on top of that their sound quality is nowhere close to the AZ80s or Sennheisers (at least not for me, and I tested them with various ear tips and spent a lot of time in EQ). Interestingly, Technics also have the wind-block mode, but it turns on automatically when microphones detect wind, so they are a good outdoors choice too, it's just that sometimes it turns back off again for several seconds
I just wish Apple let you customise the ANC level for the Airpod pros 2
I got the jabra 10 instead of the technics. I regret it slightly every day. I thought the technics would be too heavy for workouts like pylometrics and running

I skipped those.
Had the Sennheiser Mmentum ones - They were amazing. Upgraded to the Sennheiser Momentum 3's. Also amazing sound and features until the left earbuds stopped working after 6 months. Then bought both the Sony XM5s and the Bose QC Ultras. Both amazing earbuds - Sony has great sound, lots of features, and good noise canceling. The Bose have the best, amazing sound with its Immersion feature and the best noise canceling (it's scary good). But know sometimes the Bose has connectivity issues to either the app or your phone (ridiculous for an expensive earbud). But such wonderful sound, fit, and noise canceling. Sennheisers were my all time favorite sounding earbuds, but quality issues.
All of the connectivity issues disappear if you uninstall the Bose app or remove the buds from the app, once everything is set up.
@attilab.2818 So completely uninstall and reinstall? I've noticed connectivity issues as the earbuds charge get lower also
The app messes up the Bluetooth connection, even if it's not being used. Uninstall it or remove the buds from the app and leave it like that. No more connectivity issues. You still put it back in every few weeks/months though to check for updates that hopefully will sort out this problem one day.
I know it's not a perfect solution.

If nothing else I think QC from ALL these manufacturers is trash. I have the Bose, Sony, Technics, Airpods, Sennheisers, and Nothings and the only ones that do not glitch or drop connectivity are the Bose, Airpods, and Nothings which is different than Fredo's findings. I don't think he is wrong, I just think this means companies do not give af and put out inconsistent trash to the consumer. I do end up using the Bose the most because they have the best ANC and are comfortable for me (but only for 2 hours max).

Not bad and finally you’ve tried Between 3ANC! In fact that’s where you failed to be accurate in your ranking. 3ANC are top 3/5 if you really are objective and honest (word you’re using..). So take more time with them and come back.
That’s not all the best though. You didn’t include one of the best ones and arguably best sounding ones, the Beoplay EX 2.

Apple user here and while I think the user experience of the APP is second to none, I would never be able to pick them over the AZ80s. The sound quality of the APP is just inferior in every way and it's completely unacceptable to not have custom EQ at their price point. I will say that the ANC on the APP is top tier though.

Better to stay away from sennheiser mtw3 due to battery issues, i heard very good views about sennheiser mtw4 which my mtw3 has been changed for free and not received yet, at that time i got the technics az80 and the one of the best desing, very comfy, anc awesome, sound clarity as well. By the way i have tried master&dynamics mw08, it was awfull, noise leaking and easly hearable from outside, anc is awful like there is no anc at all, also had the buzzing sound issue, just stay away from luxury brand. Sony looks solid, cant complain about it, well sony, sennheiser and technics are the only options for those has budget more than 150 usd
Hey, friend! I have a similar story to yours. Last week, my right bud on MTW3 died, I was thinking of trying AZ80. How does the sound on comparison to the MTW3? And how are the mics on the calls?
@@Dima-dc5mf sound is more dynamic, more pure and can listen most detailed way. Loud is similiar with mtw3 but mtw3’s anc is a little better. The connection response and speed is better than mtw3, the mic is same level which is not so good

@@canerdogan6432 Maybe the MTW3's ANC is better but the AZ80s ANC is definitely better than the MTW4s.
Sennheiser TWS4 and Master Dynamic MW09 both have a major problem with their multipoint connectivity that no reviewers talk about. They will pair multipoint and your music will work, but their app only will pair on the first device you pair with. You can’t access the app on your two paired devices - for some reason the second device’s app will not find the earbuds even though the device is paired up. Very frustrating. Weirdly all the cheap brands like Anker get this right. And of course Apple is flawless on pairing.

iPhone doesnt even support AptX or LDAC, which are the best codecs.
This is what separates the MTW4 from the Jabras for example in sound quality. The Jabras only have AAC, while the MTW4 have AptX lossless. Night and day.
How can you review earbuds and never talk about codecs is beyond me...
You are correct, I could be doing more through review and covering codec (AptX, LDAC, etc)
There’s a lot of channels doing that already, so I’ll stick to iPhone niches and focus on comfort and usability for now.

@@attilab.2818 they do. Try Bose Ultra or Sennheiser with iPhone, Samsung which have no aptx. Then with a OnePlus or Xiaomi. It's night and day.
@@attilab.2818 I tried Technics AZ80 with AAC and then again with LDAC and there is a huge difference, especially when using .flac files.
Bose noise cancelling is awful. Loud hiss and technical noise in the left bud is not compensated by the large amount they can cancel the other noise.

The Bose NC and Sony NC are way ahead of the rest. My Sennheiser TWS4 and Master Dynamic MW09 are awful by comparison. The MW09 barely covers noise and the Sennheiser has hissing and is less effective than Bose and Sony.

The Bose are trash because they have ridiculous connectivity issues constantly and glitch out all the time.
Tw4s sound amazing with the personalized sound profile but sacrifice a full powerful sound for intricate detail I don't care about.
Jabras are just so epic.. so comfortable with powerful full sound and great ANC. I'm a bodybuilder and I sprint in them without issue but everyone is different. They're also often on sale for $200 while outperforming the $300 buds in every category except transparency mode.
Az80s are good but they're huge. I just prefer the comfort and fit and button control on the Jabras.
I hate the xm5s, overrated like Bose.
I'd say jabra-tw4s-az80.
