I cancelled my a6700 for the S9. There definitely aren’t as many lens options but the workflow from camera to posting sold it to me.

Do you think it would be better to go for the ZVE1, ZVE10 or fx30?
I want to get a video focused camera to go along side my a7c to use for videography for TH-cam videos, model portrait session videos and some documentary style filming.
I had the A7SIII but had to sell it because I was in a bad financial situation and don’t want to invest too heavily again.

If you want a video focused camera consider the FX30 for serious work over ZVE10/ZVE1.
if you already have a collection of full frame glass and are on a budget, consider a second A7C.
A7C is so versatile with its compact size and im never disappointed with its photos or video quality.

@@Fredo.heavyyI only have full frame lenses which is why I’m hesitant going for the FX30. Do you ever make use of more than 4k60 fps? I’m personally a bigger fan of 24 and the cinematic look.

Sigma I-series are very compact, they are both for Sony and L-Mount, the LUMIX S primes are by no means heavy nor big, they are basically the same size as the Samyang you have in your a7c right there. There’s also L-mount APSC lenses you al an use on the S9.
    Good video but very misrepresentative

I sold my A7C Mk1, got A74 for photography. But I miss the small form factor 😢. Will look at A7Cmk2 vs ZV-E1 for run-n-gun video. My A7S3 too heavy for vlog or run-n-gun. I leave it in studio.

I feel you, im trying to decide on what camera I want, serious full frame for studio work but a smaller body for outside usage.
Low key been using Sony ZV1, surprised by how much I can push that little camera.

Bro my LUMIX Primes 35, 85 & 100 are all average about 400g to 460g each and about 3 inches in length… super light lenses 😂. All these setups could get out of hand 😅

Are those Full frame or APSC lenses?

@@Fredo.heavyy Full Frame all Native L-Mount LUMIX S Series fast lenses. Built like cinema lenses in principle.. same size, weight, filter thread (there’s an 18, 24 & 50 also..).
Personally, I also have the Sigma 16-28 (internal zoom) & Sigma 28-70 Contemporary Series. Roughly 5 lenses totaling around 2 pounds. True these are not pancake but you should look up the S Series the image quality is amazing.

Hi, i need a very compact camera for real estate photography, i need 16mm and can do auto HDR. Maybe you can help. My clients use the photos on social media and web only. I could use an iphone, but that doesn't look professional. Thanks

Ridiculous that Sony is charging $2k or more for a A7C II/R when Panasonic S9 is miles better.
I personally love the Sony A7C II

Did anyone notice the biggest issue that wasn't really discussed with the Sony...the IBIS is horrible for hand holding compared to the Lumix. So what are you going to do, put it on a tripod where you don't even need IBIS? How can you discuss a video camera that won't always be used on a tripod without IBIS being the biggest concern. Also, those lens choices are just wrong....showing a Leica lens for thousands just because it was L-mount. Lots of misleading information here from a "marketing major".
