I have the first gen of these and was totally disappointed. And there was no real update between the two, so I didn't waste the money on these. Great vid.
While I do like you reviews I don't think it's fair to dismiss other reviews and say stuff when you don't really know them. Just review the product. Why even mention other reviewers.
I have to agree. Different people have different use cases. He says "im not just sitting at a desk like some reviewers" but some some people's use case is literally sitting at a desk. He says "the anc HAS to be good" but some people could care less about anc. And he literally says everyone's ears are different, then proceeds to paint some big conspiracy that other youtube are purposefully not telling you how unconformable they are, completely ignoring the fact that it could literally just be comfortable for their ears. I appreciate honesty, i really do, but thinking a little more before speaking would go a long way
Haha I love how this dude just gives it straight up. These big name brands are living on literally just that. They could deliver a piece of poop in a box with their name on it and people will buy it...
Actually the sound potential is phenomenal with its two drivers per bud, but mids are recessed a bit and cant be EQed. Fit is no issue with me but I changed to AZ80 now due to much higher usability and better mids.
Brother, if your ear canals are small or oddly shaped, just say so lmao. The actual sound quality, the impedance, etc. blows every other earbud except for the XM5 out of the water. Don't lump in sound quality with comfort. These S2's clearrrrrr the majority of those high tier earbuds outside of noise-cancellation and comfort.

@@Fredo.heavyy Marketing products and businesses is actually my job, but making assumptions seems to be yours! Trying to compare "earbuds that are uncomfortable to you" with "cars that don't have seatbelts or pass regulations" just shows you have a super reactionary and 30-minute insight into this product review. You claim that these have worse sound quality than XM5s and other top models, when user testing, impedance, wave-length data, driver data show otherwise. I've used all these top earbuds considerably and none are close in terms of pure audio quality except for the XM5. Just say they don't fit your small ears, because these are comfortable for the majority of users/reviewers out there, or else you'd hear A LOT of complaints otherwise. Also, you can keep complaining about how you THINK the case will scratch, how you think it feels cheap, but you haven't used it more than 30-45 minutes my guy. Hey man! Just found your channel! Thank you for savnig me from 400 dollars badly spent! Im looking for headphones / earphones right now. My only real concern is to have real good sound quality. I love deep immersive sounds. Is there anything that you would recommend for that pricepoint? (Or lower)
Get the new Pi8 or Pi6 from B&W, they’re amazing. Still testing them right now but I have an initial though video here: th-cam.com/video/U591hjkNYuA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=QAFbapoAAod4so6D

I'm a real customer, and again I have no issues with discomfort. Maybe people's ears are different and B&W still needs to address that so all customers are happy. However, for me there has been absolutely no discomfort waring these headphones for extended use. these are the highest quality earbud headphones i have ever had. I do agree the passthrough mode needs to be easier to turn on, and not from only the app.
Thanks for your input/comment. You gotta try the new Pi8 or Pi6, Bowers and Wilkins admits they needed to rework the design for more comfort. The Pi8 are now my favorite earbuds of 2024, amazing comfort, aware mode on par with AirPods and amazing ANC.
I've had these for over a year and yes it took about a week to mold them into my ear,(semi painful), I only use them for the gym to experience the best quality frequency. I paired them with the Qobuz app to take full advantage. Yes they are hefty on the price tag, but if all you care about is sound quality these sound amazing. Everything else though, Mic, ANC, features etc... they are lacking, but I love the sound. Best i've had sound quality wise next to the Beoplay EX.
