Another hint for poor solar panel conditions. The old style 3 pin voltage converter is very inefficient. It can lose as much as 50% of the energy from the sun. Use a cheap Buck Converter instead set to whatever voltage you need for your external batteries. They only lose 5% to 8% of the energy.
I've been wondering about this. I'm in NE Georgia. I have a 2000 acre property in the mountains to hunt. I'm using reveal x cameras, but just bought 2 tacticam solar panels for them. They definitely won't get full sun, but maybe they will work so I can stay out of those mountains. 🤞
