    Nice first time try but there were so many things working against you. Other than the things already mentioned, with an orbital or DA polisher, you need rotation of the pad. Do not press down on the polisher while its spinning or it will stop rotating. The orbital action mimmicks hand polishing but the spinning is what corrects the paint.

      Ahhh thanks for the advice, I'm really struggling to get a good finish on the bonnet of my 924, I've used more aggressive compounds then used a softer to finish but to no avail?

    Sorry for negativity but never polish under sun and let pad warm up before you circulate around (1 round). Nice video =) have a nice day!

      I think a softer pad and compound would just finish it off

    hey it looks like every time you push a little the machine slows down a lot ........

    • @usuallybrokencars
      @usuallybrokencars  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Even the highest quality machines will slow down under pressure, but this is still a budget friendly machine!

    You need to clay bar the car first man. You swirling contaminants and pollutants into the paint and scratching it

    • @usuallybrokencars
      @usuallybrokencars  ปีที่แล้ว

      We did clay it mate, I did a full detail on another video on my channel. Thanks for watching though! Have a look at the full detail of my old girl on TH-cam!

      @@usuallybrokencars oh ok. It looked good but I was gonna say with a full 5 step correction it will look great. But you already know that. I’ll have a look!

    • @usuallybrokencars
      @usuallybrokencars  ปีที่แล้ว

      @betonblack3621 you'll see in the video. It's literally my first attempt at using any kind of polisher. The sides came up beautifully but we weren't sure how hard we could polish the bonnet! So the results on the bonnet weren't as good as we'd like but still so much better!
