Hey, I have a 2012 C300 and when I turn my heat on it sounds like bird chirping coming from center vents. Only happens when the fan is at low speed and it's worse when I accelerate. Also notice it doesn't really blow air through center vents but more on the side. Do I need a new fan or is it something else? Any help is appreciated.

I keep a jump pack, inflator, trolly jack, impact, tire plug kit, a socket set and various other hand tools in my vehicles. It has saved me and other people so so many times. I got stuck once in the middle of the night. Never again.

to this day ive never heard or seen ANYONE who drove in one of these not smile and laugh hysterically. not once.
For the steering wheel, use Sonax alcantara cleaner and microfiber for the worst of it then use a horse hair brush and more sonax to go against the grain. It will come back around! I have similar wheel for my M240i and it is a pain to clean but worth it.
You should really secure your load, even in the trunk. Because in a crash the rearseats won’t hold that transmission. The German ADAC has some video’s on this subject and they show how dangerous an unsecured load in a car can be.

What you say is likely true but I don’t think there are any hold down points in the trunk of a C63…

I owned the white c63 two owners before Alex. The owner after me and before Alex did all those crappy mods.
As far as I know, having the alcantara steering wheel means it has the P30 performance package upgrades. It’s not a “silly option” it actually denotes a special package you could spec with the car. Take some low grain fine sandpaper and agitate the wheel. The alcantara will feel fresh after that.
Spray dilute tide on a non microfiber towel and gently work out the oils and grime from dirty hands. Let dry naturally then finish with the sand paper or even a brillow pad to "fluff" it

Yes, the P30 had an extra 30BHP, stronger engine internals, composite brakes and stiffer suspension (in UK, US spec may be different). Excepting of course that Alex's car no longer has its original engine...

Alex, if you’re looking to repair the steering wheel, you can buy a colourlock sanding block to knock down the nasty, dirty fibers and bring it back quite easily. Obsessed Garage just did another video on his 911. I’m sure Jason at Chicago Auto Pros could easily help you out with that. Alcantara cleaner, nice brush, the sanding block, and it’ll look great! @legitstreetcars
Sonax alcantara clearer will restore it to brand new. I've been using it on my C63 steering wheel for years.
@@TheRealHammer this one looks hammered and a lot I’ve seen and cleaned a lot, and usually sanding quick will get it back to new pretty easily m.
When filling the coolant, if you hold the bottle sideways (from the way you were pouring) you can get a lot closer to the fill port.
Keep in mind he was holding his phone recording in his other hand.

You can get a special brush for the steering wheel alcantara. It will make it look good again. Little hint, you can use fine steel brush too.
It's a suede brush. Any high end shoe or leather goods place should have it
And then you drive with gloves on.
I have a c63s and the steering wheel is literally sticky like glue. What steps and spray/ brushes would you suggest idk what to look for ??

Nice video series of this C63. You guys did an awesome job on the engine rebuild. The color combo does look good on this car. I can’t believe how good the exhaust sounds with just upgrading the headers and leaving the rest stock. That is one cool giveaway car.

When you got to replace the bell housing, just buy a new one off of Amazon, they are around $100-$200. Pay attention to how it comes apart because the pump assembly is inside of the bell housing assembly!

Alex, I have a similar head unit and to make the Bluetooth work you have to wire it up to the ami or the USB connection in the center console. It took me a while to figure it out but there are videos out there to watch. Let me know if you need help finding one!!! Beautiful car like always keep up the great work!!!

can't just swap the bell housing on a 6l90, unless the replacement one is perfect. It's the pump housing.
He might figure that out when he goes to take the one off of his existing transmission.

Another note on low tire issues - DO NOT use the regular lug bolts on the spare if you've got an older Benz. It will destroy and lock up the parking brake, and possibly the bearing hub... Just trust me on that

I live near Pittsburgh and love driving through the tunnels. I rev my rx8 r3 to 9k and sounds amazing. I'm jealous I wish to hear that c63 (my 2nd achievable dream car) in the tunnels. LSC and Dahm are the best car TH-cam channels imo. Thanks for the entertainment.

I just traded my C63 and my truck in for a new work truck. I miss that car so much! I registered to win this one so my fingers are crossed! I definitely know my way around that engine. I did so much maintenance work on that car. Also installed headers, x-pipe, and a tune. It was such an awesome car!

Of all the things, they bring back the alcantara steering wheel inserts to good condition, then a soft brush when the wheel is dry.

i do really like the W204. I test drove a C300 a little while back and i loved it. it was so comfortable, and the steering felt good. the driving position was nice, and it didn’t feel too small. unfortunately, it was kinda broken, and it didn’t accelerate. I want to drive one that’s in good shape some day soon.
If you haven't already done so, check the alignment on all 4 corners. I was driving my SL550 Roadster through the desert on the way to California for Christmas and at 160mph the right rear tire began to come apart. I got out and looked and the tread was perfect, so I looked around and didn't see anything. I drove a bit further and on another empty stretch got it back up to maybe 150 and it really began to let go. I got on the ground and noticed both rear wheels were to cambered that the inside tread of both tires was nearly gone on one side and steel cord on the other. Drove with the donut for 222 miles and after Christmas got new rubber and a 4 wheel alignment.

I've always thought Peter was my long lost identical twin and this video solidified it. I mean we've got the facial features, the beard, the laugh and the NeverEnding positivity, but when Peter calls Max out for forgetting to use his turn signal and Peter says "Yes, I am exceedingly happy" after Max starts using his signal, that was it right there. The moment that solidified the fact that Peter and I are somehow related 🤣. Peter my long lost identical twin! Don't ever lose your infectious positivity, you are seriously too cool! I agree with you Alex, the spec of this one is amazing…color both in and out, features, and a rebuilt engine…if only it would NOT be expensive to repair and possibly have some more reliability issues in the future….thanks to the three of you for making such an amazing show…yes…show…not content.

I bought a c63 for my wife as a daily driver , I remember telling her the same things first time she drove it , be careful in the wet , don’t floor it to overtake etc .
