      But Plink? Yes he's a great shot with a .22 no doubt but other than that. He really is not informative at all. Hickok and Buffalo actually take the time with MULTIPLE calibers and teach folks a thing or 2.

    1) Always love your tees;

    How the hell are you hiting 8" steel at 60 yards with that trigger pull? This is a case of the shooter out classing the gun.

    • @boomerisadog3899
      @boomerisadog3899 3 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      If you have good fundamentals you can overcome a crappy trigger. Too many shooters run out and replace their trigger when they'd be better served spending that $ on ammo to practice with or getting some training.

      @@boomerisadog3899 You obviously don't have carpal tunnel and arthritis in your fingers like some of us. And I know another where a guy bought it for his wife and she simply couldn't pull the double action. If you get a "good" one with 12# or less trigger pull OK...but 18# like mine was... worthless.

    Another superb review by our favorite gun guy Jason!
    About the higher price tag, yes it’s a yeeouch but looking at this from the longer view, that could be seen later on as nothing much if we consider that this probably is the best made most reliable 22 handgun ever made that can do it all in the best and the worst of times. Later on it may be that even 22 ammo is hard come by, but if a fella has planned ahead and stocked up enough then that’ll put wild meat in the pot to feed our family.

    It's hard to get a good price on these nowadays, unless you happen to just see one sitting at a local dealer. When I said get a price, I mean find someplace that has it in stock, therefore get an actual "today" price. I suspect the higher demand for them is driven by skyrocketing ammo prices, with .22LR being the cheapest ammo for the most part.

    My guess about the ejector rod length on the .22wmr, is the parts interchangeability between the 3-inch and 1.875-inch barrel versions with the same chambering, due to not enough room in the barrel shroud on the short model to accommodate the longer ejector. I say, Ruger should just make additional parts and provide a longer ejector.

    Buffalo I pushed that little 308 winchester Savage out to 1200 yards. Honestly had doubts about the accuracy after 1000 because of velocity. I was bumping 50 moa, that's around 3 + or - . inches per .25 moa. 2 seconds between shot and impact if I saw the app correctly. 😳🤣🤣
    Still enough to make dirt jump up to spot through spotting scope in a cow pasture. Hay had been cut from it a couple weeks ago so grass wasn't but 8 to 10 inches. Still I was surprised. My buddy with the .300 W.M. hit a 4 x 10 inch target. Perfectly center, 36 moa. I don't care for the heavy recoil of belted mags, but with the muzzle break his Christensen arms Ridgeline 26inch carbon fiber in a Manners, Timmeny trigger, Niteforce 5x35 is not bad. At 800 it hits like a high speed train!
    Great job on the pistols!
    Keep'em coming!

      That's the hard part my friend. Safely. My buddies farm is 400 acres. Luckily I can use it with him when he goes and that has been a lot lately. He had never shot past 400yards. Now 1160. I promised him I would have him burst a water jug at 1000. This is on a hillside. So dead stop. 800 to 1160. Did it 3 weeks ago. Both bases came loose on the rifles a week apart. I cleaned blue loctite again. He did the epoxy method. Any more trouble with my little 308 and I will do the same. Also ordered a Vortex razor 4000 range finder. It is the bee's knee's. 😁
      Bushes and trees at 2000 yards! Gotta know the range to get the right dope. 529 shipping included Murdoch's Colorado. Only place in stock. Fast shipping. I recommend this to you Buffalo. It is great. Lifetime warranty all other pretty much 2 year.
      Hope to see you on a range some day.
      Great stuff.
      Keep'em coming!

    The ejector rod issue is some penny pinching that I don't find to be acceptable. Maybe on a Lorcin or something, but not Ruger.

    My first wheelgun, LCRX 3" barrel in WMR. Very accurate shooter, especially in SA. Wish it had an extra round like S&W. I want a snubby WMR for pocket carry, with an internal trigger. Might go with a S&W, hoping the trigger is as good or better than the LCRX. By the way that is some 🔥🔥 shooting my friend!!

    As expected, another great video. I love Rugers I have owned So101 in .357 and another in .38, as well as p85, p89, p95, LC9. But the cost of the .22 LCRs is way to high. Now if Ruger came out with a swappable cylinder that shot both .22lr and .22mag, I would be on board for $500.

      Been shooting this revolver for a few days now. Extremely accurate. Great trigger. Hits a wall right before breaking that I can hold to get a perfect sight picture.
      I never liked poly pistols or revolvers. I'll make an exception with this.

    I have the Taurus tracker version of this in 22 mag and long rifle cylinder...the long rifle is more accurate and unloads easy..the 22 magnum cylinder also holds nine rounds...the gun overall is more accurate in double action... strangely..grouping more in the bullseye than single action..I like the nine rounds..the magnum cylinder sticks also while unloading spent cartridges..I almost bruised my hand pushing them out .it .. like the Ruger..could use more ejection rod..maybe a bit flatter in the end.... overall it shoots well...I just bought a Ruger 57...bought to spank it for awhile, thanks for the video brother
