Have heard that the Fort is something to see and that was good find that old water lift. I remember from your Chiang Mai Elephant sanctuary visit the information on how elephants that are ridden are often mistreated. I'm so happy to see that you decided to forgo the elephants (though I knew you would). I wish more people would be aware of this situation and help lessen this abuse by not riding elephants. You guys are really the best. ❤❤

Yes he does not know how much the owners love their pet be it elephant or horses or dog..i am veterinary i know exactly their owners feeling.. they love their elephant and feed them properly at the end of the day...they are also struggling along with their elephants ..they are just out of money and best way to earn is make elephant as rider..instead of killing it for its Tusk and play with billiard balls made out of it ....or for that matter eating pork, fish, eggs, then giving lecture

Big difference between livestock vs abuse of natural animals. I am not for going out there and use a rifle and shoot something born naturally for food, when there is a big isle of it at the store. The NRA will not agree with me because killing is good to them.

Jaipur was one of the most beautiful areas we've been to, in India or the world! The people were so friendly, the monkeys were scary, and the temples and forts were breathtaking. We had THE best guide there, as well, and he sang to us from the books of his people. If you get the opportunity, GO THERE!

It's Rickshaw not a Tuk-Tuk. Tuk-Tuks are in Thailand. Rickshaws everywhere else. (atleast in places where Bajaj and others sale them). Also Amer is more like a fort than a palace.
Robertas Uldukis Actually, I think they made their footage from a Balcony of one of the fort / temple as sometimes these places are located on top of small hills and you need to climb all the way up sometimes 😅
Robertas Uldukis, they have a drone, though it could be like O S Raikar said below, since when they use the drone, they make it very obvious. I went back through the vlog to check, and my determination is that there was no drone footage.

Hi Kara and Nate, I am your big fan and I am from Jaipur only. I was very proud to see that you guyz covered Jaipur during your visit to India. I hope you would have explored good places like city palace, Hawamahal, Amer Fort, Nahargarh Fort, Chokhi Dhani etc.
You guys should definitely head to Udaipur, it's beautiful and it has such amazing architecture and markets. The Lake Palace there is a hotel that you can stay at. It has been kind of preserved, but overall it is still very much a palace looking place and the interior design is still inspired or based on original furniture. It was previously where the Maharaja and his family stayed, and then they would go up to the palace located above the city. Thank you for showing how amazing India is!

Hey if any chance you read this comment, I just want to say, you guys are amazing and i'd love you guys to see an another part of India, where you'll be surprised by how time has stopped in that place. Please visit east India- Kolkata, West bengal during Durga Puja. I bet you wont have seen anything like this, the mix of post colonial era of British, and the humble tradition loving bengali people. You are guaranteed to be amazed!
Your work is fantastic. But I assure you that you even didn't scratched the surface of India. I want you to visit India again if possible. There's a lot you can explore and will admire. I will be more than happy to help you guys out with your trip in India if you visit again.
Just a piece of advise , when in India take a medication called O2 which you can buy at the local pharmacy to protect yourself from the stomach flu. I take it when I visit India and I can eat anything and not get sick.
Monkeys were so cute but Kara would have been freaking out since she doesn’t trust or like monkeys. Glad she started feeling better. Those monkeys were cute, but the elephants were amazing! The paint on them was so beautiful and that umbrella was very beautiful also! Another amazing blog as per usual!!
I lived in Jaipur for a couple of years and now I beginning to see how it is definitely better than many other places in India :) I don't think I fully realized it while I was there, but it definitely "felt" better to me than some other cities I have been to, including Delhi. Actually we only went to (old) Delhi once to visit family friends, and it was so crowded that I couldn't stand it. Watching your vlogs, I would still dislike those areas... But Jaipur, yes, it's pretty :)

So sad that you've both been unwell! I've been to India 5 times and used to brag about not having had even a tummy ache. Well, the last day of my last trip, I was hammered by a stomach bug. Being super sick, for the subsequent 20 hours of travel home, was payback for all my boasting! lol.

If you ever return to Jaipur, there is a really interesting block printing museum very close to the Amber Fort called the Anoki Museum. You can even try block printing your own souvenir and watch blocks being made. I thought Jaipur was amazing.

In my region in India you can ride for more than 30 km in these vehicles for just 30 cents or maximum one dollar.3 dollars are a quite a big amount.
