Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left January 10, 2016. We started this TH-cam channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

I love how positive they are as tourists because some vloggers are pretty negative about how a particular a location is. And these two are just so adjusting and understanding of the way of life in other countries and I think that's what some other particular vloggers should remember you know - That the whole point of exploring another country is about experiencing everything the country has to offer, the good and the bad and to take it as it comes with a smile. Sending so much love your way :)

I've noticed that so many foreigners who visit India usually go to the same old places. I get that Delhi, The Taj Mahal, Rajasthan, etc are all well renowned but there are sooo many other beautiful places in India like Kerala, Mysore and Ooty in the south! Plus these places arent as crowded and polluted and you won't feel so much of a culture shock there.

Lmaoo Embrace the experience! That's literally the best way to survive that country. I was there just a few months ago and I 100% agree with you. It's definitely insanely overwhelming and one of the craziest culture shocks you'll ever experience, but you'll look back at it fondly once it's all done and finished. Stay safe, try not to get scammed lol, and have fun! Keep up the great work, I really enjoy your videos!

There's quite a few of them, but the one I went to was in the Jama Masjid area. The restaurant is in literally one of the craziest alleyways I've ever seen, but the food was amazing!

The tourists always visit the Delhi or Mumbai regions of India. I realise that these are the main cities, hence the crowd and chaos, but this leaves a limited impression on the tourists.
India has 38 UNESCO world heritage sites plus there are so many Wildlife sanctuaries and parks, the south and middle India has amazing historic temples and caves, the northern India has beautiful snowy landscapes and valleys. India is so diverse and vast, the tourists need to actually research first and then come to India. Anyway enjoyed your video🙏🏻♥️

  • @abhiprai2954
    @abhiprai2954 5 ปีที่แล้ว

I am a retired Indian American. As an Indian I used to feel bad most tourists just see the surface all that is India. It’s so easy to fall into the trap of seeing ancient buildings in three cities in the northwest that constitute the famed ‘Golden Triangle’ and claim you have seen India. That’s like blind man holding onto the tail of elephant and saying an elephant is like a snake. Every state in India has unique language, culture and food.
I have watched a ton of VLOGs on India - specially food tasting. Nothing comes close to your videos, truly immersive, absolutely honest and so refreshing. Most importantly, the editing is so wonderful. Are you professionally trained in video editing? It also helps that both of you are so good looking and have such a positive attitude when it comes to explore new countries and cultures. You are a wonderful couple. Blessings and best wishes. I the videos I saw, you were in three cities they were all were in the north and west. If you visit other regions and I am sure you will feel you are in different countries. Yet there is something that is uniquely Indian and connects these diverse places that were 560 kingdoms before they became India. What other country can you visit which has the denomination of every currency note written in 15 languages yet has the largest English speaking population in the world with the largest number of newspapers and magazines. The Government works in English and Hindi or the local state language and most people can at least understand English.

Delhi is most chaotic and polluted state of India. I think you should visit Ladakh, Kerala, Goa. India is very different state wise. India has a vast diversity. Well it’s the most populated country so u will find more people than any other foreign country but Ladakh & Nagaland is my fav. People there are really nice and kind and it’s very less crowded plus the weather and lakes are so beautiful. Please visit after pandemic. I appreciate you guys that you bared this much. Lots of love from India♥️🙏🏻

I'm from Delhi and as much as I love Old Delhi, I know the chaos of the streets can piss anybody off but you guys had that wide smile on your face from beginning to end. You took everything in a positive way. Wish you guys all the best for all your future trips... May you meet bestest of people in your journey and find yummiest food wherever you go. And Obviously I have subscribed to your channel.

    Hey Kara & Nate ..
You probably have seen the crowded part of India or I must say of Delhi ...
I've watched this video for the second time and I really liked the way you took things positively ...
I know ryt now you guys are back in BNA and kinda in Lockdown (honestly I followed your videos from that Private Beach in Phillipines so I know) however I really admire you both a Couple but .. I adore you more as fabulous Travel Partners ...
I couldn't follow your entire Tour to India but I'd like to invite you again ...
I'm not sure if I can promise to be your guide .. but I surely can help you finding the best destinations in India ...
You have seen the crowded India but you must visit the well cultured India too ...
And you'll like it for sure ...
But .. once again .. You guys are awesome ...
Hope this Lockdown won't lock you down at home for long ...
