Great video! I was a bit confused at first because the controller didn’t enter pairing mode when the usual blue flashing occurred. It turns out I hadn’t held down the ‘Share’ and ‘PS’ buttons long enough for pairing mode to activate. @: 1:32. Also, keep in mind that if you’re using a PS4 controller on a PC, the audio drivers won’t work with DS4Windows unless you have the PS4 Dongle so the headphones connect thru the controller 3.5mm controller jack.

My controllers connected just fine the first time I tried it. Now none of them will connect to my pc. There all fully charged and work just wine when I use a wired connection. Its like the pc is just refusing to connect wirelessly with my controllers suddenly. Whats going on?
same! exepct it dont work on wire. it was working 5 minutes ago then i turned it on to play beamng and then it wouldent connect so i dis connected form bluetooth and it just sat on connecting and diddnt connect
Hey Guys, are you certain that the controller is fully charged? Sometimes the controller stays connected to the PC until the battery runs out unless you manually switch it off by holding the home button for 10 seconds. Obviously if the battery runs out then it will not work via Bluetooth just when you connect again with the cable.

I purchase the same BT dongle and the initial setup work fine. However when i load up the game it start to have alot of input lag. I not sure what wrong with it
Hey @redeye117! Could there be some kind of obstruction or interference with the signal from the USB? For example I had mine plugged into the back of the PC tower and found that the connection was dropping then used a usb extension cable to get the USB out from behind and the connection has been rock solid since.

I can connect my controller with bluetooth but it doesnt work in any software because it keeps sayting to controller connected even though the controller is connected in the settings.
@@LovingTechLife Yea it didnt work either. So like I said i can connect my controller to my pc via bluetooth. However it doesnt show up in any software. When I plug it in by cable it works fine immidiately. When I go to devices and printers and search for the controllers under hardware for the wired controller there are all drivers installed like HID etc but when I look at the bluetooth controller all these programs are not installed. I think that part of the issue but I dont know how to fix it.

My issue is: I was able to pair the controller with Windows, but the Playstation Accessories program can't recognize the connection. Therefore I can't check if the drivers are up do date.
Ok so you’ve already tried the controller on something else like a phone to confirm it works? Have you tried removing it from the Bluetooth on your PC restarting and trying again. Also try uninstalling Bluetooth USB from your PC and reinstall that if you have one.
My main controller it's charging blue lights on red lights on it just does not show up as a Bluetooth device on PC PlayStation 4 on my phone just randomly within the last 4 days nothing happened I just went outside came back and stopped working

I tried so many things in the end even though it was almost fully charged for some reason charging it again until it was fully charged was what worked thanks for that lil tip there was nothing else that I haven't tried

There’s a few things you can do here but maybe start by unplugging it then removing the Wireless Controller from the devices list under Audio and anywhere else on the Bluetooth and other devices section and go ahead and plug it in again and press the PS button. Also do you have Bluetooth on your pc?

the shear and power button worked for me , held both down white light on controller blinking , then on pc add bluetooth and bam it's working again. oh i did do a reset on the controller first . thank you very much

I have paired my "Doubleshock 4" controller successfully on Windows 10 last year, both wired and wireless (using usb adapter, because my desktop pc doesn't have Bluetooth). Earlier this year I updated to Windows 11 and today I've tried to use the controller for a racing video game, but was unable to pair it wirelessly. When using usb cable it pairs and works perfectly tho. When I try to pair wirelessly - nothing happens. Holding the two buttons, it starts flashing but blue light never shows. I'm sure I made it work on Windows 10 and blue light was showing it's connected. If I remember well, I had to click something on fast settings menu, but it changed with Win 11 and I dont know what to do... I'm really confused and spent many hours trying to find a solution today.... What am I missing?? Please help, brother!
Hey @1878reddevil! Sounds like a pain so I’ll do what I can. You might have paired the controller with windows 10 and then upgraded to 11 and the same controller was possibly in the Bluetooth menu. Have you completely remove it from windows and tried again?

I think that app only updates the PS5 controllers. Would need a console to update it.

Charge it. If it doesnt work after charged or not charging, try another usb.

Have you tried removing it from the Bluetooth on your PC restarting and trying again.
Also try uninstalling Bluetooth USB from your PC and reinstall that if you have one.

mine isn't showing up on windows 11, but it shows up and pairs fine with my windows 10, and I have reset the controller, and it can connect with USB cable, but I prefer to use it wirelessly.. no problem showing and connecting on my phone( orange light tho), no problem connecting with my PS4 console. just not working on this PC, i guess tons of people having the same issue like I do

Sounds like the controller is fine. You think it’s the Bluetooth itself that has a problem?

@@LovingTechLife in my case I have PS4 wireless controller, I can't unpair it, I removed the driver via bleutooth device manager but it keeps showing after restart
and I removed all the drivers via devices and printers, it is removed but I can't pair the PS4 controller
