Hello, I have a problem with Bluetooth. I don't know why, but my pad won't connect, that is - it pairs, but after 2 minutes it pairs again. I don't know what to do, as I have the DS4Windows application installed to connect my game pad, it doesn't work at all, in a sense, it shows me that the pad has been detected, but when I play a game, the pad doesn't do anything, I don't know what to do. I don't know if it's a matter of my computer, the pad, or what.
I scanned through the video and didn't find a fix ~ anytime I use my controller on my laptop, it will connect, but it doesn't function as a controller. Holding the center PS button and moving a joystick changes my computer volume, and the center functions as a touchpad. Everytime I want to connect it requires a computer restart, then it connects cleanly until I disconnect it.

I'm having this very issue where the controller does not wish to connect except I never had a PS4 to begin with so I can't unpair it from a PS4. I've also tried a factory reset of the controller via the small hole at the back with a pin, but this did nothing. It connects fine to my phone so the bluetooth on the controller itself is not the issue, just its inability to connect to my pc. This problem did not exist with my previous dualshock 4, which connected no problems to the very same pc.
@@LovingTechLife I thought that tool was only for the DualSense, and not the Dualshock. I cannot find one for the Dualshock and I do not believe it exists.

@@LovingTechLife Since the controller connects to my phone just fine it's probably just a problem with my pc bluetooth specifically rather than the controller. I just can't seem to figure out what it is.

Hey Madara sorry for the slow reply. The Xbox controller has better Windows support and less issues but get a PS4 controller if you are used to using PlayStation style controllers from consoles.
@@907goodkind1 bro i have tips for you, i have same problem and i succed to fix the problem, the step is Press and hold Windows key + I to open settings. Click on Devices. Under Bluetooth & other devices. Click on the PS4 controller and click on Remove device. Once the Device is removed, try adding the device again.
All this works for me and i can pair no problem, however when i want to use my controller again it needs to be paired again. It doesn't work and Ds4 windows doesn't see it even though it appears as paired in bluetooth & other devices. Any idea what i could do so that windows stops forgetting being paired with it? I use a usb dongle and ds4 windows. It is important to note that when i was using windows 7 my controller was never forgotten. All i had to do was press the button to open and close it.

Why mine is charging then when I click the start on the controller It just blink blue led but still not working on any game?

both my controllers just keep inputing Up slightly to the left with the left analogic stick, and it goes down if i press R2, they work fine on ps4 tho

Hey Duchessskye! Have you tried updating the firmware on the controller itself? There’s a tool on Sonys website.
