Re-upping this short monologue test using MetaHuman Animator and 3D Scan Store textures. Also using the original MetaHuman (non make-up version) and lighting from the first test.
Feels much better using the original head movement/rotation from the performance capture -- as opposed to animating custom head movement and tweaking eyelines for the prior "lighting test" with that character sitting.

Looks so good. If the lips articulation wasn't so stiff I'd be fooled into thinking its real.

The light the skin textures are excellent the voice is wrong And the muscles around the mouth cheeks bones weakness link and thats exactly whats needs to be animated to achieve the realism we all are looking for. 💪🏾💯 great upload

Getting better from here is so fucking hard. I can tell it's not real but no way to tell what exactly. Well except animation, that's likely the bottleneck of quality rn (not taking from you! You did an amazing job, i'm just comparing it to the best it could be, you did great!!)

Thank you! So, there's no clean-up or adjustments on my end -- this is just MetaHuman Animator straight "out-of-the-box." The iPhone 14 Pro I use was also on a small tripod (one of those Joby flexible tripods and a Ulanzi smartphone rig).

That's so good. My performances come out a little shakey for some reason. Do you have your iphone mounted on a tripod/stand?

How did you get it to look so real. I have been trying to get mine to look like this. I bought 3D scan store textures too. Can you make a tutorial?
I've not planned on making tutorials primarily since I'm still learning and there are so many others better at it :) I do think the main tutorial on 3D Scan Store's channel is still the best. But I can say these tests were made using the MetaHuman Lighting project and the "Moonlight" map which has given me great results. You def. have to play with your Post Process Volume settings and as shown by 3D Scan Store, raising or tweaking the Specular amount can help a lot!

Hey there! I’m not a pro 3D artist - just a filmmaker learning Unreal primarily for cinematics, so still learning a lot! I think you should definitely find a more experienced person for your needs :)
what are you using for lip-syncing.. Audio2Face or default LiveLink capture?

Realistic model, well rendered , but the lips tend to look like they only have some surface movement, as if they are a cut out hole on a thin surface, and someone or something pushes and pulls on the surface around the hole to make it appear as if it moves.
Is this path traced? or is this using lumen?
