This is a helpful vid to clean & flush out the unit, however descaling will still be necessary. The machine will stop working at that time until you descale.

Hi Shaz, just bought one of these today. My god so much better than our other one which was a Sage Creatista that used the original Nespresso pods. Do you ever put a descale tablet in and if so, how often? Thanks lovely xx
It's fab isn't it! I do in deed! When the button turns orange/red that means it need descaling and only then do I do it. I've only need to do it once since I got it! I'd say every six months if it doesn't have an indicatior xx

hiya new subscriber here just bought one of theses and seem to have an issue with machine overfilling mug from the mug sized pod have you or any others had the same issue many thx
Hi and thank you for subscribing! : ) I've not experienced that with mine. As long as you press the button once it's shouldn't overfill. Failing that use an extra large mug x

Hey how often do you or should you descale?
The machine will let you know. The light turns red/green at the same time.

DOLCE GUSTO by Krups Oblo KP110840 Coffee Machine Pods on the way. Have not opened it. Might give as a present does not say if it comes with cups. Cheap as chips. We proper missed you some slang 😘 xxx 💞❤💕

@@BlondeTeaParty it was only 28 pounds. We had a great coffee machine did cappuccino to. It lasted right up to the guarantee. Not tried anything like this. I dunno, can do so many things cold drinks, green Tea. I don't drink Tea or coffee unless we go out. Not sure i mean how the heck . I have no clue. xxx 💞❤💕
Can you descale without using the chemical?
No unfortunately not. If you use filtered water that should lessen the amount of descaling needed.
This did NOT work on my same machine. Not sure why?
How do I descale it correctly and how often
When it needs descaling the button will flash red/orange. You need to buy the Nespresso descaling fluid and then follow the instructions. x

Its a pity you cannot give it a short rinse like i can with ordenary nespresso.i always put a small cup under and press nespresso small but cannot do this with my vertuo pity,and if you dont do it you get old coffee left over ftom day before

Yeah i have got exactly the same problem 😒
Exactly the same for me. I followed with precision the instructions, which are very simple. I also resets to factory settings. It still doesn't work. Maybe there is a bug in the control card. Anyway I use an obvious other way : descaling process without descaling product. If somebody can find a solution for Sponge gaming, H Valikova and myself, it would be nice.
Make sure the last capsule is ejected from the machine.
For those of you getting the blinking red light, what worked for me was opening it, as if I was ejecting a pod, closing it, and then pressing the button 3x. Worked at that point. Opening it seems to cause something to reset.

That machine is not a vertuo but a plus
1-2 times a week is a bit much to expect if I’m being honest.
These Vertuo coffee machines are a load of rubbish, we brought two and didnt even get through the starter pack of coffee for them, light goes red when we tried the clean circle total waste of time and money
Sounds like human error. Mine works perfectly.
@leiakiki3525 we took both Coffee machines back to Nespresso who said that both machines are faulty. I'm a qualified technician and consider myself fairly tech savvy, and running a technical department in a large organisation, I don't think the human has anything to do with it!
Cleaning and descaling are two different things
Cleaning doesn’t help at all avoiding the formation of scales
