Thank you so much for watching, friends! 💖💖 Who doesn’t love a good tasting coffee?!?! With a few steps I show in this video you can get your coffee machine back to brewing coffee like a brand new. Hope you enjoy the video and check the info box I left you links for some coffee recipes 😋
Thank you so much! I just bought a used nespresso for a friend and descaled it tonight. I tried to use the nespresso TH-cam channel and it was no help at all! I was able to do it by following your video.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I tried to descale my machine following the steps in the guide. Failed every time. You have made this sooo much easier.XXOO
Thanks as it helped me. Also I agree with the person that said you may have to hold the button for awhile. I then could not get it out of descale mode but then saw that you have to reopen the machine and hold the button again. Success!
I hadn’t used my Nespresso in over a year. When I went to do the descaling, it wouldn’t pull water from the tank. I used a turkey baster to try to push water through, where the water dispenser sits. I was unsuccessful; I left it over night after the failed attempt. I gave it another try in the afternoon, lo and behold it works. I’m glad I didn’t get rid of it on the first failed attempt. I then followed these steps for descaling, thanks for the tutorial.
Thank you Thank you! This lovely video was 10X better than the Nespresso tutorial video. Thank you so much for the different position of the camera, that helped a lot! Thank you so kindly! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
THANK YOU!!! There are no good Nespresso Vertuo specific descaling vids and this is THE one. The stupid locking and unlocking mechanism got me so frustrated.
Thank you for these helpful instructions! I have the same nespresso machine and the instructions seem different on the nespresso machine. You mentioned a method to press, lock to the left and then repeat before descaling which seemed to work for my machine! Thanks!! =)
After wasting like 45 min with the company video, I found you video! Thank you! I was going crazy because mine it’s older. It takes longer than 7 seconds we have to watch for the blinking light🤦♀️
Thank you so much this video was so helpful. I I tried going off the espressos video and that didn’t work out for me 🤦🏻♀️but your video help me thanks again.
Another use for the descaling solution is for pedicure. As its ingredient is mainly lactic acid, a good keratolytic agent, it can be used to remove thick skin on the bottom of the foot. After soaking the foot, smear some on, cover with band-aid or plastic wrap to keep it moist, repeat it for a few days. The thick surface skin would turn white and peel off without any damage to the underlying tissue.
Merci beaucoup Rose votre démonstration a bien été clair j'ai toute à fait bien compris vous êtes meilleur que le démonstrateur de la compagnie bonne vidéo Merci beaucoup
Your machine is clean and might not even in need of a descaling :-). I just did mine with vinegar and about 20 cups later the light started flashing again. I guess I will need to open it to see if the coffee power was built up inside the tube of the machine...
Thanks for your video, it was way more helpful than Nespresso! I have a question, my machine entered in the descaling mode, some of the solution+water went through it but then it stopped, the light has been flashing for 10+min and no solution went through the machine. Is this normal? If not, should I reset the process? Any advice is welcomed!
You can do 50/50 but I usually Add up to 4 cups of vinegar to the reservoir I don’t diluted with water. Let it stand for 30 minutes and then I run the vinegar through the machine using the de scaling method I used in the video and you also need two to three cycles of fresh water to rinse the vinegar out.
Hi Rose, I love your videos, they are clear and easy fallow. Question, where do I buy the glass container you use when the water spits out while descaling? Those seems like a perfect size. Thanks
This machine that I have it has a descaling alert so the light will blink alternately 3 times, then become steady. They also recommend you descale your machine once every 6 months.
Used a 50/50 solution of white distilled vinegar and after it was done, still got half red light indicating need for descaling. Used Nespresso descaling and red light disappeared.
Hi! Thank you for sharing. I have a question. When your machine is done brewing, do you feel like your coffee is not hot enough? I have the same model as yours, and I feel like my coffee is not hot enough after is done brewing. I noticed myself and my friends told me it feels lukewarm. I mean, I see the steam coming out the spout, but the temperature changes drastically faster or something. Oh, and even if I do a clean cycle or descaling mode still comes out the same temp. I used a kitchen thermometer and it's not higher than 104 farenheit.
THANK YOU!! A million times better than the company’s tutorial video. Thank you for saving my sanity. 😭❤️
You’re very welcome, Alyssa! ♥️
Agreed! Thank you!
For reals. I watched the company vid 3 times before I gave up. Glad I found this video.
The company's video sucks. The music is the most irritating
Word to Nespresso people: This process is absolutely ridiculous!!! Thanks to Rose for making this possible.
Thank you so much you actually helped more than the original nespresso video
You’re very welcome Dinaa, I’m glad you found this video helpful.
I have attempted to scale using the instructions with the machine, and the website. Your video got me through successfully the first time. Good job!!!

How do you know it needs descaled? I know it says it blinks but does the light change color or no?
Thank you so much! I just bought a used nespresso for a friend and descaled it tonight. I tried to use the nespresso TH-cam channel and it was no help at all! I was able to do it by following your video.

I'm not a GOT or HOD fan, but I have to admit that this table is one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

Thank You for your clear, concise well-paced tutorial. I tried it, and it worked perfectly! ☕️
I’m very glad to hear that. Thanks for your feedback.
Excellent
How much vinegar and water do you use? Appreciate your time! 😊

Thank you so much. I’m very glad it was helpful.
Good Video
Thank you
You’re very welcome, Dalila.
Thankyou it worked :)
You're so welcome!
Thank you 🙏
How much vinegar do you use? 0:50
I usually fill the tank up halfway with vinegar, and there's no need to dilute it with water.
Thank you so much!
Hi! For some reason the water is not draining down ..? Any ideas ?
Hi, I did evething you said, but my machine makes a noise like the water is coming out, but it doesn't. What can I do
Hi Rose, I love your videos, they are clear and easy fallow. Question, where do I buy the glass container you use when the water spits out while descaling? Those seems like a perfect size. Thanks
How often does it need to be cleaned?
This machine that I have it has a descaling alert so the light will blink alternately 3 times, then become steady. They also recommend you descale your machine once every 6 months.
How long did the cleaning take?
You're amazing thank you :)
You’re super sweet! Thank you!🌼💖
I did everything as you showed but it didn’t work for me at all
Used a 50/50 solution of white distilled vinegar and after it was done, still got half red light indicating need for descaling. Used Nespresso descaling and red light disappeared.
That’s bc you gotta use the Nespresso one. Vinegar can ruin it internally.
Thank you for a great review beautiful
Thank you so much my friend!
Thank you!!!
Thank you ❤2024 here 🎉
Heat your coffee cup before brewing. It makes a big difference!
I need that jar.
Thank you
You’re very welcome!🤍
They could have done this better. An additional descaling light mode, and one button, just for this process. Geez thanks ❤❤❤
I have descaled my Nespresso with vinegar. I’m picking about my coffee and did not taste any vinegar taste
Thanks for the tips. Like others mentioned, the Nespresso instructions did not work.
Glad it helped
Like 5, have a nice day🤩
Thank you!
Why my machine doesn’t get ahot water
