Just bought the pop yesterday and drinking my first cup now. Such an upgrade from my Keurig mini. Btw, you can make a double espresso from the larger size pods by double clicking the brew button! This is true for all Vertuo machines.
Not quite understanding what you mean. Are you talking about from the 7.7 ounce pods? I did buy the double espresso capsules because I like two shots when I make my lattes
Love my Chritmas present of the Pop. My first machine was a Pixie. Learned to drink coffee at 70 ten years later still enjoying Good coffee. Also recieved a Keurig Ice K which almost the same size as the Pop. I like the K but love the Pop. Best of both worlds. Thanks for using a doube walled coffee mug. One should be able to savor a good cup of coffee as well enjoying the beautiful look of the coffee. Also thank you for showing about the heating. I think I learned that if you push the buttin three times in quick succession you can make your coffee stronger.
Excellent honest review, appreciate that.. Bought one of these machines a week ago and really enjoying the different coffees that came with the sample pack. I think its delivers a better quality brew than the earlier machines. The pods may be more expensive but you get what you pay for. Great little coffee maker. I'm impressed!
thank you for this review. I've been considering getting one of these for a while. I had a higher end Keurig, but never quite really enjoyed the coffee that I brewed with it. And then it died on me the day before I was having 30+ guests over to celebrate Christmas! I am like you in that I drink coffees for the flavor and comfort, not for the caffeine and I prefer to buy caffeine free coffee. Also, I live in America and just today, I saw some of the Starbucks vertuo pods in my local grocery store!
Ours stopped working after 6 months, chip issue, nespresso swapped it over for a pre loved one just the same. Bit worried now that it wont last but ill give it a second chance 😊 Your video quality is very good.
I just bought the Vertuo pop deluxe model about four days ago and I am loving it! The deluxe model has a bigger water tank and you can also swing it to the side for easier access I also have an espresso Essenza mini that uses the original line capsules. I thought the original line one was great, but the Vertuo is even better and more versatile. Yes, the capsules for the Vertuo are more expensive, I am learning that in the US. We do get the Starbucks Vertuo capsules in our grocery stores. Great review!
Nice review. I got the Vertuo Evoluo for a bday present in 2021. I was thinking about getting the Pop+ because I wanted to buy the larger capsules that can't be brewed in mine. However, I'm pretty happy with mine especially since I didn't have to pay for it.
I love the foam, too! James Hoffman, web super-coffee guy, did a hilarious review of Nespresso’s Vertuo line. He was suspicious about the foam, so he ran the coffee through a blender and got LOTS of foam. As a result, he thinks it’s just a cheap trick, but, I love the foam the way it comes out-and don’t have to put it in a blender!
I will need to call the help line. When it works it s wonderful. tried the help on internet. The water tan is full, the machine does not rescaling as it s b free and new and I use filtered water. Trouble shooter says it could be machine error or human error this needs more explanation. When it has worked it makes wonderful tasting coffee and in my Bodum mug is beautiful to look at, I
I don’t like really strong coffee, bit I buy it and hold button down until I get the amount of water I like and it will remember. The only problem is that if it resets then it resets all your pods back to normal.

I am thinking about getting another machine to keep at home and maybe, just maybe will go for something different (Nespresso) hence my watching your video. Thanks you for the very informative video. I had an ordinary Nespresso machine for 8 years. But it stopped working correctly..leaking all over etc. So I bought a Vertuo Pop for me two days ago. The coffee from my new Vertuo Pop is very good. I have one concern however, after watching a Nespresso video on descaling the Vertuo Pop I am very confused/scared Thats looks like a very complex procedure. If I have watched that video earlier, I seriously wouldn't have bought the machine Can you recommend a good video to explain descaling for a Vertuo Pop machine?
I unfortunately don’t know any good videos! Maybe I’ll make one 😅 But yes it’s a weird procedure and they probably should’ve just added a descaling button like on the original machines

If you press the button again it will keep dispensing to give you more expresso and press again to stop it anytime. Also double press to get creation mode.
I was first initially worried about the machine. I was sent the wrong machine (but right capsules) and I heard bad reviews on customer service, about refunds etc. I called and he told me he would look into it and call me back tomorrow. Then the machine itself had a few bad reviews in terms of breaking down often, being at faulty (again they were provided no support from Nespresso company) The cons are definitely there with the price. The size isn't worth it that much for me as I can imagine now, but I will hopefully get the right machine and then hope it will be worthy of the trouble it has caused with shipping and Nespresso customer service and I will see if it's worth it in the end.

Pop and Next are only compatible with the Vertuo pods so I think you should go with one of the Original machines instead, sounds like it’ll suit you better 😄
Ah yes! It actually is pretty loud which I imagine can be a problem if you need to get up early and other people in your household are still asleep. But I don’t think I’ve ever heard the pod rattling inside, I don’t think that’s supposed to happen?
Maybe I’m misunderstanding but I’ve seen the usual Nespresso pods (the newer different shaped version) ones in grocery stores where I live. There’s not a huge selection but it’s nice there is other places to get them other than the original company website (especially since the grocery store has sales at times).

Yes, it’s completely useless. Or I read that it can help you keep track of how many pods you have left if you connect the machine to the Nespresso app on your phone. But I really don’t see how that would be helpful at all 😅 So it’s basically a useless feature as far as I know
I am not a fancy coffee type of person, and I was probably looking to get the regular nespresso machine. I am barely getting a sip of coffee out of the machine and that is with the 2 extra top ups the machine allows me to do lol Am I supposed to add more water.... or heated up milk....😅 It also tastes gross, and it is basically cold😂😂 I must be doing something wrong.
This is just the Vertuo Pop! The Pop+ has a bigger water tank (750 ml instead of 600 ml), bigger pod storage and can brew larger sized cups of coffee 😄
Well, I mostly have iced lattes so I haven’t noticed this, but my husband sometimes used our Vertuo Pop and he has never mentioned that as a problem. I think it’s great that you can drink it right away and don’t have to wait for it to cool off 😊
I’ve learned that if you run it a few times it gets hotter. I do like the machine but I use my Keurig for my travel mug as I have a long drive to work. Need that hot coffee here in the northeast
I actually mention that the Vertuo is only compatible with Nespresso’s own pods, and not third party pods like the original Nespresso machines are. And I also mention that Nespresso’s own pods are more expensive than third party pods, so just to be fair, I have covered that the pods are expensive 😊

This machine has an expert mode setting vs. the other vertuo machines. It's the only thing that is new imo. It's like a newer version of the Next.
How to use the mode？
My next has that function!

The color is just called White on Nespresso’s (danish) site but it’s definitely not optic white! It has more of a creamy color I’d say
I wonder if third party manufacturers will ever be able to produce these pods. I hope so, it’s the only reason I haven’t pulled the trigger as of yet

if you buy from Nepresso you will get a welcome box of coffees to sample. Besides that, yes you purchase separately
You can buy a kit to refill the pods and seal them again totally a money saver cuz the pods can get pricey add any coffee you like

The pop takes capsules not pods. Pods are for the first generation coffee maker.
Coffee does not get hot enough. I can chug a cup down right away without burning my mouth at all.
