Yea and Houston last year started off @baltimore game 1. Schedule was just easy because they had a 4th place schedule and it was the year they play the nfc south

Exactly where is he getting this from? Outside of the one moment where he cried to his mom which was after the game he had not shown any signs of being emotional especially during games.

The backend of the Bears schedule is brutal. Six out of the last eight games is against divisional opponents plus the Niners and Seahawks. Nothing easy about that at all. I got the Bears going 10-7 or 11-6 at best.

Don’t think you understand Chicago Bears fans. We love Justin, but Caleb is our QB now. We want both to excel! However, if I had a choice, I want Caleb to reach the generational level so the Bears will have the best QB in the NFL the next decade!

There is no such thing as an easy schedule in the NFL!! Every game is hard as hell. It is so hard to win, any game in the NFL! The NFC Central is the toughest in the NFL!

Been a huge Bears fan for almost 40 years! Definitely being cautiously optimistic! Bears PTSD is real! 😂 I love what ive seen from our young GM & head Coach since their arrival & am excited about our roster. I hope caleb shines bright but have a certain sense of comfort knowing we have TB17 in the house!! With these weapons i believe Tyson T-BAG Bagent ( yes im 47 & still need to mature 😂) could seriously look amazing & take the NFL by storm so Caleb Williams better look & be very good bc the Bagent chants coming from the masses will be loud & clear if not!! While I know he is also very young with the D2 stigma but ive been extremely impressed with the kid & this team is stacked with weapons now! I could see us with an 11-6 record! Caleb 5-5 & Bagent 6-1!! Im torn though bc i could also see us being 13-4 with Caleb shining bright like a 💎! 😂
I wouldn't be surprised if the Texans have an elite D, and they play the Bears wk2. the flip side of the division games being late in the year could be a tough task and a grind. The North will be tough as nails this year.

I disagree. It's a lighter schedule, but not as light as it looks. Bears are not just gonna march right through this schedule. It'll be a bit of a struggle imo, but they'll win some games for sure
Nobody in Chicago is rooting against Caleb now. Before the trade there was definitely a lot of controversy. That ended the day he went to Pittsburgh. Eberflus is on one of the coolest seats in the NFL now. They would need to absolutely collapse for Flus to get fired. The players love Flus, and it makes zero sense to change head coaches this year.

Emotions can either SHOOT A PERSON PAST THE MOON or put you in the basement. Some people live and die by this. Let this man be who he is. Use his college career to show YOU who he is. Pretty sure he won't be changing much from that period of time emotionally.
PS. Too many people who are clearly fearful to be wrong about Caleb to the point where they're AFRAID TO BELIEVE IN HIM! That's very personal. The more we believe in the kid, the more likely he is to succeed! HE ALREADY SHOWED US WHO HE IS, BELIEVE IT! SHEESH!

Hes a kid, and now has huge financial success and expectational pressure. Ofcourse he is going to hve emotional rollercoaster. Michael Jordan was a crybaby as well. In his rookie year you can hear how nervous he was in his voice. Its all natural. Let the kid mature over time. Lower expectations. It took MJ years to win championships

The difference between a 1st place schedule and a 4th place schedule is ONLY 3 games. 2 are conference teams and 1 is a non conference 4th place team. GB, Detroit, Min play the same 14 other games we do. 10-7
Given an easy schedule? Every team in the NFL plays a different division every year and that’s on a 4 year rotation to always get to play every division. It just played out that way but okay. And the schedule sucks in my opinion. No divisional games until November and at one point, the Bears play 3 games within 10 days. 2 of those games are Detroit and Vikings.
I think Colin is happy with it though.
Pay attention! Justin Fields beat the Lions. If it weren't for the 4th quarter collapse, he would've beaten them twice. The Lions aren't scary.
The Vikings, what exactly is their QB situation? Going up against a primed Bears defense that has had 12 weeks to mesh. I'm not worried about the Vikings.

I think riding their defense and getting what they can out of their rookie early on, they can go 6-3 to start the season, before the gauntlet. (Expect some growing pains) Then we will see what they are made of in the second half. If they get to 10 wins with a rookie QB I will be impressed. At least .500 in the division would be nice.
I want the game to matter to my QB and since this guy has been 12 years old nothing but the game has mattered to this guy and he will be ready for the NFL!👍🏼🧸⬇️

U only get schedules like that when u win the division and make the playoffs we haven't done either of those so what is Colin talking about. Not to mention all of our division games which our division can possibly be one of the toughest in the NFL week 11 till the end of the season is back to back to back to tough games so what is Colin talking about

What I'm thinking is, NFL did it that way because our division pretty tough, that second half is gonna be a fight for division and for playoffs i can't think of a time when they have ever stacked a whole half of all division gms like that and some of those are short weeks. It's all about the money. Bears have a huge fan base that travels very well and spends 💰. It would benefit the entire NFL if the Bears and Caleb have early success. 10-7 #7 WC team. CJ Stroud created a lot of hype just like Brock Purdy did. 1 day a rookie QB will win the Super Bowl. The League would absolutely love that to happen
I believe Dan Marino got to the Super Bowl his rookie year but I could be wrong.

@@JWLSports I think they have the best secondary in the NFL, and if their front four can get consistent pressure on the QB then the D will be scary. If the O line can stay healthy and Caleb Williams is as advertised throwing to that group of WR and a very solid running game then...who knows???
If they stay healthy there is not a single team in the NFC they can't compete with. Health and how quickly Caleb can get up to speed are the two main things imo. All I know is it is going to be an interesting season.
