I was listening a podcast that chase Daniels was saying that the play calling Shane Waldron is using is a lot more complex than the one Kliff Kingsbury is using. Kingsbury is using college level play calls but Shane waldron is using more complex play calling that it takes more time for a new qb to accommodate. I believe in the long run Caleb will Be really good.
Okay but the offense hasn’t punted in 2 weeks and missed TWO FGs in the first game. I guess the “college” offense trumps a complicated Bears offense that can’t score
@@theantandthebull sure I agree 100% with you and please don’t get me wrong it’s not that I’m against it or anything like that. I just believe in the long run it will be more beneficial for Caleb to run with that type of play calling.
You have to learn to walk before you can run. Starting Caleb out in a complex offense will only stunt his growth at QB since he doesn’t have the fundamentals. I don’t have much faith in Caleb becoming a good QB. Reminds me of Manzel.
@@thabruhfrom9444 you know there is always two types of people. The ones that they need something competitive to motivate them and make them better and the ones that they just need a step by step process that’s why it comes down to the coach to decide what kind of route they want to take.
Jayden looks the part COMPLETELY. On and off the field, habits, maturity, ethic…..dude is an OCs dream. Caleb will be good too, but man, Jayden looks amazing.
If he was picked first, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. It speaks volumes about the Bears org that they didn't even bring JD in to at least talk to him and see what he's about. It's malpractice. Idc how good you think a guy is, there is always something to learn from the other prospects. They put all their eggs in Caleb's basket and they might not be happy they did in a few months. I'm a Louisiana guy but I live in north Virginia now and the LSU hook up to the Commanders is dope for me. I'm all in with this team. It ain't where you from, it's where you at!! I'm looking forward to JD5 and the Commanders growing out of this slump and I'm here for the ride. Win or lose, I'm down for life. Stay healthy and let's go.
I've been a Washington fan for fifty years. This is a great start for the new owners and a resurrection of a team that had a winning legacy for decades.
I think we got something good going. I've been a washington fan all my life, and I see great things coming. I'm not expecting to much this year, but growth
They're gonna be compared to one another for the entirety of their careers...they're #1 and #2 overall. I really hope the bears get it together because it's only gonna make the league better if these QBs succeed.
I'm a Commander's fan. I hope Caleb is really successful and the O-line needs to step up and protect Caleb better so he can develop. Caleb is an Amazing QB. Despite the record. He's a rookie. Some rookies have rookie hiccups 😐 before they fix thing's. Caleb can ball, he just has to put it together! Wishing him the best success 🙌 in Chicago!
Media keeps moving the goalposts for Caleb. All offseason it was how Caleb was set up the best for a rookie QB and now it's nothing but he doesn't have an o-line and supporting cast. JD is just better, plain and simple.
Jaden Daniels is the chosen one.He will win Rookie of the year. Washington will make the playoffs. Washington Commanders will win the Super Bowl. Jayden Daniels will be MVP in the Super Bowl.
Not taking anything from Jayden he's special and balled out on MNF, but in regards to Caleb I think the biggest difference teamwise is support. Caleb was drafted to a deeper more talented team, but Jayden was drafted to a team that has been more supportive of him. By that I mean Chicago is trying to make Caleb fit into what they already have, versus Washington which is trying to build around Jayden. WAS focused on getting proven running backs and a Tight end in free agency, and drafted an OL in the draft. All their moves were designed to ease the burden on a rookie QB.
Chicago also built the team for Caleb, they got Keenan Allen, DJ Moore, and drafted Rome Odunze. All offseason everyone said the Bears O-line was better along with the overall situation and they also drafted a new lineman along with having tight ends Cole Kmet and Mercedes Lewis. On paper the Bears have a much better offense than the Commanders. Jayden can do what he’s asked to but Caleb can’t, what the future holds I don’t know but right now Jayden is a much better QB.
Not to mention that, when the draft order got set and the hot rumor was Caleb will force his way to dc to play at home and everyone said why would he do that when the bears are a clear better situation. Btw I think Caleb will be fine but the revisionist history is tiring
SLOW DOWN WASHINGTON! Let the season play out ! Some tough games coming up with much better defenses! Slow down fans it’s just September! Let’s see November and December!
Let's just celebrate this victory. The Bengals threw a lot at them and the Commanders stood them up, they never even punted. Anticipation is part of the fun.
If you saw JD LSU highlights and Stats and play 5 years in college at winning level Heinemann trophy coming out in the draft ! common sense say grab him even at second but he was second bc he was slim let’s keep it real. He slimmer than most Qb in the league. This young rookie was hit many times in his college career. The last play in the fourth quarter to Terry he was de cleated off the tuff and jump back up with a smile. He knew he was going to take a hit but he has the deep competitive energy to win he took hit those the pass was the nail in the coffin that night. We stood strong when few teams wanted to trade up for JD and were willing to offer a lucrative deal.
Your waiting to see a man fail. What kind level of hate are you on 🤔… For that Jayden is going blow out Williams when they play! And Williams is performing at such a low rate . He’ll probably be benched by next year . Since you want a answer so bad
The Bears draft process was a complete mistake. Make the same pick if they want at the end of the day, but not inviting JD into the building and picking his brain is inexcusable

I'm thinking the Commanders could win the NFC East. It's already been a weird season.
@@christopherbiggers7811 Defense no way near good enough. Look at Philly, completely shut down the Saints offense. Eagles by far the team in the East
I'm loving this new owner. It's great to hear the talking heads gush over Washington again.
I feel like people forget how off the field Jayden is way more mature

He has more than one superpower… running, accuracy, & work ethic. Quick release might be one as well
Naw fr that game clenching TD throw to scary terry was because of his quick release
Herd you picked the Bengals in a Blowout
Literally everyone did and its hilarious 😂
