There’s no comparison over the last 3 weeks between Caleb and Jayden,
Caleb has five turnovers, Jayden has zero
Jayden has 5 touchdowns, Caleb has 2
Jayden has more passing yards and obviously more rushing yards
He has the highest completion percentage in the league
Jayden just put up the best performance by a rookie in nfl history on Monday night football,
Caleb just had a two turnover loss against a qb that can’t complete 50% of his throws

The threat of him keeping the ball truly does open the field up. I know Caleb wants to hang in the pocket but they gotta start having him pull some of these reads and keep the defense honest. Gotta be a threat to run to either side if you’re only going to run out of the gun.

If they kept Justin they would have traded the #1 and gotten more draft capital to pick up OLine and WR. Could have gotten a top tackle in Fuaga or Fashanu and MHJ at #3. Hell even if they still went with Rome and a OT, they likely get more draft capital in the second round and could have moved around to get Zach Frazier at center... (who ironically, Fields is taking snaps from in Pittsburgh - and Frazier looks like a stud).
They could have had the OLine and WR weapons addressed in the first two rounds and focused on edge rushers after that. Hell, don't bother getting Keenan Allen and instead spend that money on a big time edge rusher. This team would be 3-0 and continue their upward trajectory that they had been on when they went 7-10 after the defense blew a couple 4th quarter leads.

@billnahulak7795 Fields did nothing to warrant passing on an upgrade twice in a row. He's an elite runner, that's cool, but I'd rather have my quarterback be elite at passing than rushing, heck I'd rather have my quarterback just great at passing than elite at rushing. A quarterbacks job is to distribute the ball to the playmakers, not play running back.

The reality is we have a rookie QB and a veteran OC installing is offensive scheme for the first time with a rookie QB. We need to give this it's due diligence. He shouldn't need to pass more than 25-30 times max. 25 pass attempts and like 10-15 designed runs would be the best way to maximize his usage and keep defenses off balance. cause if the offense can stay on the field, and keep the defense fresh, this is a tough team. They were saying that Williams was the second most ready if you look at all the QB this year Kaleb is definitely ready so everything everyone predicted has been right but the thing is Williams has a higher potential higher ceiling than Daniel’s ever will! No to as I think the OC and for the commanders is doing a better job of giving Daniel simple plays and simple reads to make him into the game. I think Waldron is just doing too much. I think he needs a simplify it get his quarterback to get some completions, but part of that is that we can’t get our running game going yeah the commanders most of their touchdowns have been running touchdowns. They have a good game right now. We don’t so when we can’t get the run game going is kind of stuck and there’s not much she can do making it easier for Williams
