I agree 💯 on the difference when it comes to pores. Plus after wearing a mask, the Charlotte side still looked in tact. Also I was wearing black pants and the Kossas shimmer got all over! Deal breaker for me. I don’t want the hassle. I have combo-oily skin. Charolette is my holy grail
Wow glad to hear your experience with it. Charlotte Tilbury will be a hard powder to beat🤣 I can't believe tho that shimmer got over your black pants?? How did that even happen? Did you drop the powder in your lap? I'm so confused lol
I have the kosas and it dosent even show glow on my face you must have used a tan for it to be on your clothes and I just tried doing a swatch on to my black work pants no glow and it wiped off love it I used nars pan translucent micro powder and I prefer the the kosas. Your makeup lots beautiful love the blush.❤
Oh thank you so much Perla, I'm so happy you found the review helpful. And thanks for letting me know about the eyeshadow, I was thinking perhaps it was my imagination that it looked good 😂
another superb review ❤️i have combo-dry skin and enjoy both powders. my makeup style shifted to barely there coverage so both work wonderfully. but I did try the kosas one with a full coverage foundation and went heavy with undereye setting.... it gave me yellow panda eyes 😭😂 that was my fault hahaha the eye shadow looks fantastic, by the way! it really suits you!
Thanks Jan! I wasn't sure whether I just imagined the eyeshadow was looking good. Pink eyeshadows are out of my comfort zone haha I've also given myself panda eyes sometimes with too much under the eye haha
Just a PSA for everyone also! Kosas doesn't seem to use a lot of preservatives so their products go fast extremely fast. I got their concealer and it smelled like blue cheese only after a month of being opened! I know someone too whose Kosas bronzer started growing mold on the bottom after being opened less than 8 ish months.
Thank you for this review. I also don't like the charlotte powder under my eyes. It makes my dark circles look even darker despite the fact that I used corrector and concealer 🤷🏽♀️. And also wanted to say I really like your new hair style!
@@RashiRamalho I really thought I was the only one! Because everyone was raving about this powder. I am going to order the rcma (saw this in another video of you) as soon as my laura mercier is empty.
Hey Rashi...I have recently come across your channel while I was searching for Georgio armani foundation and I must say your reviews are soooo good and I literally am searching for product reviews in this channel first...keep doing👍
just another makeup lover here putting in her two cents! I love the kosas, ct and gucci powders. the gucci one, to me, is definitely more invisible than the other two but it sets really well. they're all undetectable powders so they're easy to use and easy to love ❤️i'm actually really curious what rashi thinks about it too
I went to Sephora yesterday for Charlotte Tilbury pressed powder but there was only four shades, and I was between the medium and the tan compact so neither one was ideal. The sales person showed me the Kosas cloud set in Cushiony, I loved the shade match (it’s nearly identical to the KVD lock it medium 155 shade I have) but my only issue I have with it is goes hard pan easily and has little coverage. But it does looks natural finish and blurs the skin but I might keep looking for another powder.
I prefer the kosas over Laura mercier loose powder in terms of how smoothing and undetectable kosas is in comparison for the FACE. But for under the eyes, I prefer Laura mercier in shade honey as I can apply more product and it doesn't highlight any texture, you can also bake with it or set it with a damp beauty blender which looks great but you can't really do that with kosas as more powder under the eyes with kosas just looks heavy
Loved your review, Rashi! Would you recommend a deeper shade for summer? I am the same exact shade as you in winter, but tan soo quickly in the summer! I was wondering if you've tried the powder in Pillowy or Softly?
Hey Priya that's a tough one. I did buy cushiony in summer in NZ but I had only tanned a little bit so it worked really well for me. If you tan a lot I'm not sure how shade cushiony will look as the powder is a little bit more pigmented in colour than my other setting powders. Also I haven't tried the other shades on my face. I only swatched them on my hand instore and I don't remember now how they looked in comparison sorry
@@RashiRamalho thanks for the info! I may try out pillowy since I tan more red than yellow. In case you didn't see, Kosas is having a site-wide 20% off sale :D
Just ordered mine. CT was a bit dry for me, hope this one is better. People mention about it getting hardpan. How to avoid? The eye shadows looked very nice.
Thank you! If you notice the hard pan, itz easy enough to take a stiff brush and brush it across the surface which breaks up the hard pan. If you use your brush a bit roughly on the surface from time to time, it won't hard pan much. That's how I use it and I haven't been having an issue with it😊
@@RashiRamalho Thanks for the info. BTW, glad you brought up how CT could be drier for dry skin. Seems like no other influencers have noticed this issue?! My Laura Mercier has done a much better job than CT.
I loved their concealer but I couldn’t find anything that matches our skintone 🥺. If you find one someday i would be so thankful. It goes on like a dream
Kosas and Hourglass ambient powders are very different. Kosas has some oil control properties while hourglass doesn't. Kosas is a bit more smoothing than hourglass. Hourglass however is lighter, gives skin more of a soft focus effect and is more glowy.
Hi! First of all let me say I bought the CT magic star after watching your video and I loveeee it, so thank you for the review! Okay now to my question, I use to love Mac’s sheer pressed powder(sadly discontinued) and used it like a mild coverage foundation almost, I wonder if any of the powders you’ve tried come close to that texture if you know what I mean? I never felt dry after using that and it just made my skin look natural but evened out… thanks in advance ♥️
Yassss!!! Magic star is heavenly. I'm so glad you love it😘 Sorry I don't know about the Mac powder. What is your skin type like? Have you thought about the Gucci powder?
@@RashiRamalho ooh okay it was called select sheer pressed and it had a velvety texture, pigmented enough to give you mild coverage, came in all the foundation shades😍😭! Does that sound like the Gucci one you’re suggesting? Or any other? I have the Givenchy prisme libre but it seems to be better for setting, can’t really use it alone… My skin type is oily T and mostly on the normal to dry side otherwise, also sensitive with mild rosacea. thanks again for your tips♥️
I have been wanting to try this powder so bad! But im so confused about the shade. One of the sephora representatives suggested shade Feathery but im scared cause I use medium in Charlotte Tilbury 😥
Hey Sidra from looking at your picture, you look lighter than me and less yellow so I wouldn't recommend cushiony for you. You will probably either be comfy or feathery. Kosas website does have a 'find your shade' questionnaire that you might find helpful in terms of deciding a shade as it asks about undertones etc also even if you did get comfy/feathery, these powders are sheer so like CT quite flexible and i don't think you need to stress much about the shade as they won't deposit much colour anyway. Hope this helps🥰
Hi💞 I’ve been obsessed with your channel! I think your videos are the best! I’m so happy I found your channel!!!

This was such a good review and I liked how you really went straight to the point with the cons and pros. Just subscribed! :)

Thanks Trisha🥰

What it the cream or powder bronzer?

Between the Kosas powder and the Prisme Libre one which leaves the under eye area more hydrated?
