    Thank you Dr. Sugai for sharing and caring with these helpful tips 😊 I agree, it's important to change our pillow slips often - I change mine several times a week and also my face cloths that I use to dry my face. My skin is very sensitive - I use the Vanicream Moisturizing Lotion and SPF 30. Take care everyone 🌹

      Sounds like you got it down! But you’re totally right- it does get pricey. Thankfully these products can last us for awhile but always good to keep an eye out for deals. The holidays are coming up and we should see some good skincare sales I think!

    I LOVE your videos! I would like to know your thoughts on using solid coconut oil in the evening instead of Vaseline? I usually take a little bit of a solid form of coconut oil and let it soften in my hands and then apply it. I recently saw an article that said coconut oil clogged your pores.

    • @danielsugaimd
      @danielsugaimd  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello, my friend! Thank you for watching and for the comment. In general, coconut oil is very moisturizing and I am okay with patients using it as a body moisturizer but as a facial product, I have seen a few patients get very significant and stubborn comedones and milia from the occlusive nature of it. I still prefer Vaseline for the face but very small quantities!🙏🤙

    Dr. Sugai, I haven been using the Alto SkinBetter as vitamin c, and I the results have been great...thanks to you!!!! But should we also add Hylironic Acid like the Vichy 89 on top of it or it would be too much? Thanks!!!

    • @danielsugaimd
      @danielsugaimd  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hellloooo my friend! That is great to hear! I would say you can totally add on an HA serum like Vichy’s. I would apply it over the Alto and it should give a nice plumping effect. 👍

    @susank683 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Thank you for this particular video because I have the 3 products but just wasn't quite sure in which order to apply them for the best results. Does it really matter if they are rubbed on or patted on? and can I go across my lips with the hyaluronic acid to help plump them up or not? I am "mature" but have no wrinkles until I smile then a few show up on my cheeks I am hoping the Hyaluronic acid will add some good structure to that area of my skin along with Adalalene at night.
    YOU ARE A GOOD TEACHER!

    • @danielsugaimd
      @danielsugaimd  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for watching!! Patted in and then gently rubbed in with fingertips is best. HA can def go on lips to help plump as well as other areas. Sounds like you got a great plan! 👍🙌

    Doctor Sugai would you mind talking to us older women about thinning facial skin and why blue veins (not red spider veins) show through now which were never visible before...are we just doomed to have thin sheer face skin which has to be covered with concealer? I guess so but would you talk about it please thanks

    • @danielsugaimd
      @danielsugaimd  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Definitely can do a video on thinning facial skin as that is a concern over time from cumulative sun exposure and other factors. Retinoids and sunscreen are essential but a discussion with your dermatologist about filler (to rebuild facial structure) or devices may be necessary. Thanks for watching!

    I’m using Maelove Fade away brightening serum - can Iayer it with vitamin C?

    • @danielsugaimd
      @danielsugaimd  หลายเดือนก่อน

    $180 for the tiny product… how on earth that can be a good reco. Just a nonsense brand ad

    • @Kris-qt6lr
      @Kris-qt6lr หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Dermatologists agree that the Skinceuticals C E Ferulic, which I assume is the brand and product you're referring to, carries the most research backed evidence of vitamin C efficacy. It's up to you whether to purchase it or not. People who are able to afford it do. Btw, I am not one of those people,lol

    • @villiam7941
      @villiam7941 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don’t say the product is bad. Let’s face it, for the vast majority of population in any place this is way beyond their budget. Ferrari is a good car, all agree. But saying seriously like it’s a good option that everyone should consider is just a joke. There are some very similar products, almost identical formula and he even didn’t mention it. Many say alternative products are even supposed to be better having less irritation. That looks like marketing to me.

    • @villiam7941
      @villiam7941 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Kris-qt6lr And to be more specific, row materials they use are sooooo cheap. R&D also take tiny amount of the final consumer cost, especially considering how many years they sell it. It’s not a nuclear power plant or a bridge over the sea 40km long. There’s no reals reason to sell it for this price other than the marketing and branding. Their research is also no guarantee whatsoever that it works as expected and there’re reasonable doubts of efficacy of active form of vitamin C (even less evidence regarding other forms).

      He recommended a Ton of affordable options in this video . This is an outstanding educational tutorial

    • @villiam7941
      @villiam7941 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@erinobrien8453 Fair enough, tons? he names several products, then takes the best and only, applies it and basically promotes it as the best choice. If he had made a whole video dedicated to only the product, even you would have realized that it reminds an ad and that would have been less trustworthy. He only lists as alternatives those products that cannot directly compete with the "best product" and so conveniently forgets to mention direct competitors (whom L’Oreal = SkinCeuticals, by the way, tried to sue). Although there are similar products on the market in terms of formula and composition, with better packaging that suppose to maintain product stability longer and cost up to 5 times less, he didn’t even bother to mention those. It fits a typical marketing approach, how you cannot at least consider it. If you see it differently, well fine to me, go get the overpriced one. I live in a free country, hope you too :)
