had the code. Cleaned throttlebody. Code went away 2 weeks later it returned along with P2111, cleaned the TB again from the both sides this time. (it was not stuck open) cleaned MAF sensor. P2111 went away, P0121 stayed And now the throttlebody opens and shuts with clicking noise when I start. RPMs go up and down, when I press the gas pedal the car reacts normally but when I let go it nearly staled (AT so it did catch it self). I am at a loss. Mechanic far away. I am about to seit it on fire and be done with that god damn car already.
sir my toyota etios car is having the same problem. p0121 error. cleaned throttle body but it again came back after 3 weeks. Car doesn't Accelerate. What to do? should i change throttle body or the sensor?
@@shubham.sharma332Expensive - dont do that yet. In my case it was dirty MAF sensor. I was cleaning it several times, but it turned out that all I did was cleaning temperature sensor over and over. The MAF is inside of the sensor assembly. if you look inside the hole of the cilinder on which temp. sensor is part of you will see two tiny wires, going across the opening. thats your MAF sensor. good luck
i have a p0121 error , watching the live data stream there was oxygen bank sensor errors, i think too low of a voltage, it would flash on and off but they didnt throw any codes, maybe its related? I seen another video where the gear in the throttlebody has too much negative slack because of some broken teeth, it could just be a bad throttle body gear/motor or even whiper contact inside.
@@mikejones-vd3fg I was cleaning MAF sensor wrong. Same as 90% of all people on here, that are also just spraying the temperature sensor part xD It was oily MAF from my newly installed KN filter all along.
Bro update please!! I have the same issue and i replaced my entire throttle body twice and the entire pedal and that sensor to...couple weeks after fixing it pops up again same thing.....throttle body

My issue is definitely the wiring. Replaced all hard parts between my switch circuit E (pedal, and throttle body)
