I am about to finish NP school and my sister and I really want to do this together! She is an ICU nurse and would be doing most of the business stuff, but I was hoping to be able to be the medical director... I also know that NPs have full practice authority in nevada (we are thinking about vegas) so I would be good to go there right?
Question for you as it pertains to athletes... is it against doping rules to give them more than 100 ml over 12 hour? I was trying to research this and it's very unclear!

What type of mobile iv hydration specific licensing do I need? I am an NP and in Md, an independent state, and I already have LLC and in process to register business with state of Md, EIN, and website already. So, do I need a business license/ permit from state, local government, or city?
That’s state specific so I’m not sure what the laws are for Maryland. We have our students research through their state. Your city hall should be able to answer that.

I have called so number and dept and I get the same response. There is no specific licensing that I need beside my NP, LLC, EIN, etc. I have been trying to obtain an BUSINESS LICENSE, (NOT LLC) and they tell me I don't need one, but I feel every business needs a license/permit. I called DOH from county and state, and I also get the same response. Can you give me some input? KEN

Also, you don't have to be an NP to start an IV hydration business but you will have to hire an NP or MD to be your medical director and to do your good faith exams
