Why do some guys on TH-cam make this more difficult and take the whole wheel off to reposition the caliper so that the bleed nipple is facing up? Thanks in advance

#1 they may not have a vacuum bleeder, #2 they watched a video and trusted in that process, #3 they don't know what they're doing...

I bought the same pneumatic bleeder to do this and it didn't seem to work well. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. What PSI did you run your compressor at? It sucked fluid out of the reservoir perfectly fine and I can feel suction if I put my finger tip on the end. I attached the end to the bleeder and cracked it loose and fluid barely came out when I squeeze the trigger. Shouldn't the entire clear tube fill up with fluid as your squeezing the trigger? It was just trickling out but I did get the reservoir to come down. Pedal is still really soft.

You need to crack the valve open just enough to suck fluid, but too much and it will draw air around the threads and no fluid will suck. If it's not cracked enough it won't suck anything, not even air.

@@TrickMasterPC Thank you for replying! Wasn't sure if you would even see it. I am going to give it another try. How about the PSI on your compressor? Box says operating psi 71-113 so I would think anything in that range is fine. Also, should the clear tube completely fill with fluid as I'm squeezing the trigger and it's sucking the fluid out? I would think it should? 🙏

@@CGC6vette I use 90 PSI which is pretty much standard for air tools. Works without an issue. Good luck!

@@CGC6vette Yes, when you get good suction it will pull straight fluid right out. The whole tube will be full.
