      I agree. When a man is accountable and “man’s up” for his actions that is SO attractive. An accountable man is a sexy man. I don’t think people who refuse to admit when wrong, or even worse blame others for their wrongdoings, realize people lose a little bit of respect for you each time. Though they don’t say anything and may even nod in agreement they don’t feel that way about you on the inside. You will garner so much more respect and likability if your authentic. There’s no joy in trying to fool the world.

      It’s easier and quicker to acquire a fortune when you have the ability to feign emotions. If you’re unable, people won’t relate to you and likely won’t do business with you. If you feel actual emotions, then you won’t be able to take advantage of others and instead others will take advantage of you.

      I agree! It hurts.

    • @Undomaranel
      @Undomaranel ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Screw that. Morality and feelings are not included in the harshness of mortality. Birds watch their chicks die every season. Wildebeest watch their newborns suffocate in the afterbirth and have no way of understanding what to do. Predator and prey relations exist. Intraspecies conflict exists, like lions killing cubs to reset the pride, ants and their wars, or stags getting their antlers stuck and slowy dying together.
      Infant and child mortality are so common animals developed/ were designed with reproductive tools to combat it. Having litters, multiple reproductive cycles, producing a gajillion eggs at once... evolutionarily speaking that's why humans are so successful. We are fertile all the time and can raise multiples at once, despite the cost pregnancy takes on us upright women.
      It's very sad when a child dies before a parent, but it is also very natural. Up until the last century and the miracles of modern medicine it was expected that you would bury a few kids. That's why everyone married young and made as many babies as possible; you never knew who would survive, including mom. Then there's the cultures around the world having children's birthdays as benchmarks, like Japan's 3, 5 and 7 year old celebrations, to celebrate a child showing the vigor and vim to make it.
      "No parent should outlive their child." Spoken out of ignorance, selfishness, and imho narcisisstic idiocy. You don't want to risk feeling such emotions? Don't play the game. But by participating you fully acknowledge that nature will take it's course one way or another, and you waive all rights to complain. If a child dies to war, blame the powers that be for causing such evil to happen. If a child dies to a bad neighborhood, figure out how to solve it and demand everyone step up. But losing a child to medical issues? Unless it was preventable or done from neglect or malicious intent, child death IS the natural order and we have no reasonable right to curse nature or God. As parents you can just do the best that you can, that's all parents have been able to do since being a parent was a thing.

      I regretfully cannot offer you any encouragement because I can’t fathom the pain. All I can say is if something happens to my daughter (she’s 15 btw) at anytime in my life, the world will suffer with me. I only hope they preemptively incarcerate me before my grieving and my ensuing rampage begins. I just know I would lash out at the innocent because that’s exactly what she is, and it’s not fair that she’s ever had to suffer with the relative mild bit she’s had thus far let alone what she’d endure in this hypothetical that I should probably stop going on about at this point….
      All rambling aside, I fucking hate that you’ve had to experience such evil as the loss of a beautiful, no doubt loving, and obviously integral part of your self and life. Again I have no words of encouragement because any such words can only be empty rhetoric and downright condescending because I can’t know your pain and anyone who tells you “keep your head up” or “stay strong! You’ve got this” is downplaying life’s chasm as a mere pothole and, to me at least, comes off exceedingly patronizing. I can, however, bring myself to offer you this one meager utterance…I do with all I am and everything I have hope that you and all those in your state manage to find some sense of happiness and comfort, and remain steadfast in seeing this insane ride that is life all the way to the end. “Spiral out! Keep going…”

    ETA: Apologies in advance... It's a book.
    My heart goes out to this man in ways that have no words. My son passed away at the age of 24 just about 467 days (or 11,208 hours, or 672,480 minutes, or my Personal Favorite: 40,348,800 seconds) ago. It's the single most horrific experience I've ever known, it's the worst Club on the planet to be a member of.
    It's as if you can almost see - even as a total stranger - a furrow on the brow, a smile that lacks the light in your eyes but is rather a faint glow that's like the trick your eyes play on you once a light bulb burns out and you get a brief outline of the filament before there's Inevitably complete darkness.
    My sweet boy, my best friend, my last baby I'd ever have, my most steadfast defender, ardent guardian, & compassionate caretaker, my fellow 'passing neurotypical' Aspie, my Kobayashi Maru.
    He was brilliant, funny, intuitive, and 'quirky' AF!!!!! My little 'Harry Potter' with his first glasses just after he turned 3 came to me one morning and asked me to clean his smudgy specs. While he waited for me to dry them after a fairly thorough scrub, he was telling me that he couldn't wait for the day to come when he'd no longer need them to see clearly. 🤔 When I pressed him for details about this much-anticipated day? He in turn asked me how old would he be anyway when he'd develop his 'Adult SUPERvision' because (according to him) it was required for damn near EVERYTHING he wanted to do!!!
    Me: 😳😮🫢🤭😅😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
    Thank you if you read this far, I miss him so much.

I was apologizing for not being a 'normal Mom' and he gave me a look of abject terror and said that a 'NORMAL' Mom was his idea of Hell! 😂 He said that the worst part of having me for his Mom was dealing with the envy of his friends; that he'd had the best life anyone could ever dream of. At his Memorial some of his best mates and I were looking at photos of some of our trips - I was in amazement that they could identify places that they'd not been from the stories he'd tell. We all drank Hennessey from his custom flask that I never dreamed would match his urn, and I gather those moments up and treasure them in my heart. Rich or poor. People are concerned with themselves at the end of the day, and for good reason.
      There's a reason you're supposed to put your oxygen mask on first, before assisting others.
      Best of intentions, or "thoughts and prayers", mean absolute dog shit in comparison to cold, hard cash assistance. THAT'S why I become successful.
      Wealth does not equate indifference. Our mentality as a whole affects that. Check yourself.

    • @SergeantSquared
      @SergeantSquared ปีที่แล้ว

      The last person that's going to preach to me about caring for others is the douche that saw this video and thought "nobody should be rich."
      Stop.
      One of the richsst people i've known personally lost his son at 12. Which influence was the more powerful in his life? His money or his loss?
      I asked him if he'd give up his entire fortune to have his son back. Of course he would. Money doesn't define people. Stop judging people as collectives and start judging people by their character.
      *All people who judge others as collectives rather than individuals are extemely evil.* pwople.

    Most employers don't care because they want to make money. You are a means to get the money for them. They act like you don't get sick or your child doesn't get sick or your car doesn't break down or you got a bad tooth with no dental care or you got a flat tire and no money left to get tire fixed, you cant pay your rent cause you live from paycheck to paycheck etc But money answers all things and because they have it, they are desensitized to the struggles of others. Sad

    “I’ll see her again one day..” that sentence made me some but broke me at the same time.
    In such a crazy destructive world we have all created, I can’t help but still have hope that I will never be in this fathers position and hold on to some day people understanding the importance of life and living. Technology has driven us from each other. We’re all just a face in a crowd now.

    I am so sorry I got tears on my eyes. I have 3 daughters they don't know how precious they are to me. There in their twenties and thirties. I love them so very much I can't imagine the pain you're going through I'm glad you got to spend those 20 years with her those may have not happened so I guess we have to take our little blessings and our big blessings when we can. And know that we had them and God gave them to us to share. And those ones that we love will see them again
