I use Auto Foam from Bilt Hamber besides Surfex HD, Korrosol Deox-C and Atom-Mac. The touchless on paint doesn't seem to be consistent so prefer normal wax or sealants or coatings.
Because you never had a encounter with a real touchless wash if your car is protected with wax you can can get a 98 percent clean I’ve been trying to tell you and the entire world about some touchless washes and you always ignore my coments it all good I don’t care, as long as it works for me its fine, my record time right now is 12 minutes touchless wash and dry with my griots monster towel can you imagine how many cars can you clean in a day with this method? Just clean 2 small cars the other day all touchless and just a quick detailed inside my client gave me 220.00 dollars , have a good day keep scrubbing your cars with your 2 buquet method
I've had much better results from the Touch-On. As with all coatings, it works better with cleaner paint. If the car hasn't had any detail work done (ever), I'll foam and rinse it twice for a better result. On newer cars, i've seen hydrophobic results comparable to a proper ceramic coat.
Not a fan of touchless cleaning products, but I do use auto foam and touchless as part of a contact strip wash. As far as touchless protection I use wet coat and bio nano pro on some wheels and as part of Express wash and protect packages (wet coat lasts about a month and bio nano pro about 6 weeks)
I've used the 303 Touchless Sealant for my wheels, which is much easier than trying to hand-apply a different type of protectant. It works reasonably well, making the wheels much easier to clean and the hydrophobic properties are good. I don't use that type of product on the car's paint though. I have recently purchased Gyeon Wet Coat but haven't used it yet.
Touch on has worked really well this winter on our cars, I was surprised at how long it lasted for us in the UK. I can do two cars with one satchet so works out pretty cheap.
I was an early beta tester for 303 Touchless Sealant and I think it's very good! It's easy to use, produces the results your looking for and comes in a larger bottle for about the same price as Gyeon WetCoat, well worth a try IMO👍👍
That’s what I’ve been using turtle wax Hybrid solutions spray ceramic for. I use on every exterior detail. Love the ease, the smell, the gloss it adds and the fact it keeps beading water for long time!
McKee's hydro products have worked well for being touchless. I also like gyeon wet coat, but I have taken to spraying and wiping into a wet panel, then hit with a rinse again before drying. That has given even coverage and doesn't add much time to the process.
Yeah. Agree, there Jeff. I spray the Wet Coat on a panel and wipe it over with a primed microfibre-sponge. I find the process only adds seconds per panel and results in much better efficiency of the product.
Because of the ease of use and cost, I prefer 303 Touchless Sealant. I also give my vehicle a good detailing by hand every 2 months with Turtle Wax Ice Seal and Shine. Cheers!
Brian as Jr. was rinsing off the BH I was thinking that Wet Coat is probably better and sure enough you did the rear of the car. I use Wet Coat on wheels, especially ones that get regular maintenance washes, as it makes cleaning easier. As always I appreciate your showing us new products 👍✌️☮️
Use Bilt Hamber products two years ago last year when I bought my new work van and decided to try the touch on and notice if you use it regular, but it does build up quite a resistance, especially in the UK when you can’t wash your vehicle for four or six weeks at a time.
Touchless for a quick kick off of dirt and grime with my power washer. If the "car wash" ain't touchless, i drive the other way. Trying different shampoos but not one really stands out. Only touch with two buckets and hands. After correcting my paints on my vehicles from all the brush car wash damage, I'll never go through a scrubber again. Thanks for the reviews!
I use the Bilt Hamber Touch-less pre wash, followed by Touch-on as a contact wash. The Touch-less is as good as, if not better than the auto foam. While the Touch-on is an easy once a month wash & protect. It is quite expensive for a wash/protect but is much more convenient & quicker than a separate wash & protect.
Rachel from Auto Care HQ and other youtubers already made comparison of BH Autofoam and Touchless and Autofoam was still stronger. So, no, Touchless isn't better.
@@High-Performance-IQ The point most of you are missing is that it is good enough for many people, affordable and saves a lot of time. It doesn't necessarily have to be better. But it's all a matter of opinion anyway. I like both but prefer Touchless.

Disagree. You're far more likely to miss something if you're doing it by hand than using a liquid that gives you blanket coverage. But at the end of the day it all depends how thorough your are regardless of how you do it. I can strongly recommend touchless for regular washes. Nobody is likely to use it for a full detailing wash, but most people are not going to be doing that every week or two. That's why every car care company makes alternative products.
I'm actually pretty excited about this for a few reasons. I haven't tried it yet but I like the packaging, the versatility, and the price. With the volume discount at 10 packages it works out to $2.50 each. I added 1 to 32 ounces of distilled water in a trigger sprayer. That is an incredible value for 32 ounces of spray on rinse off sealant. I also have an empty bottle from Eagle One's old Evolution car wash that came in a hose end sprayer. I can put some of this in that, pop it on the hose, and hit my camper with it. If I have some left in the bottle I can toss it on the shelf and save it for another day. I also like that I can store 10 of these in less shelf space than a bottle of anything else. Looking forward to trying it out.
The soaps Autofoam or Touchless would be my go to by foaming the car dry for first stage cleaning as adviced by Forensic Detailing Channel. But it's a nightmare to get them here in France unless you double the price with shipping. Not a fan of spray on coatings.
This video is great and it highlights how differently we do things on this side of the pond. For example, you foam with Autofoam and then contact wash THEN rinse. We'd rarely do that, we'd foam and rinse THEN contact wash, and probably with Touch On as the bucket shampoo, I've found it works better like that. In reality I think it's closer to Gyeon Bathe+ than WetCoat.
In terms of foamed protecting product... there's many out there but very few can surpass Koch Chemie Protector Wax. If you've not experienced that yet I can heartily recommend it.
@@apexdetail85 all is forgiven then (it did feel a bit out if character for you as well). With Touch-on, definitely give that a go in the way the name implies, I find that gives me significantly different results.

I guess it's better than nothing, but unless the car was already nearly clean then I doubt it does much. I guess I just don't see where the market is for this. You could rinseless wash and have a cleaner car in nearly the same time it takes to prep the soap and pull out all the pressure washer stuff. As always, thanks for the video and information!

They work, but saying that would I buy as a pro detailer these sachets or recommend them to my customers?., probably not. I recommend Innovacar H2O coat. It wasn't the best review. Rinsing it all off after a couple of seconds isn't giving it chance to bond well. Used properly, it's superb and has an extremely good reputation everywhere. It won't be for everybody but it's definitely not a poor product.
The only touchless wash I’ll use is Stars & Stripes. I use BH Touchless and Auto Foam every single detail I do. It’s a perfect system but they gotta make it cheaper 😅 I’ve never had a more lubricated hand wash than with auto foam on the panels and auto-wash shampoo in the bucket. Other than that, touchless washes are a fantasy not yet realized in real world conditions where people expect pro results at a high ticket price. Even when I maintenance my ceramic coated clients, touchless can only get you so far…
@@Andrew-ul5yw nah it doesn’t “attack” or exchange ions with caranuba or Sio2 or parafin. It’s completely dependent upon relatively perfect pressure washing technique which is a let down for me personally. You need the “scraping” feel that the water gives on a 1800PSI outlet in order for everything to be flawlessly clean. Anything over that PSI risks damaging emblems, seals etc. Some of my customers have their cars cleaned in the afternoon by their choice for their convenience and I oblige, you have to. The car is going to be baking hot (I work in Southern California) and stars & stripes is a very poor choice on hot cars. That’s why I use Bilt Hamber touchless 90% of the time.
I love BH stuff immensely but this just doesn't hit the mark IMHO. I love Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Wax which I apply in the Apex off label method sometimes but, when lazy, I'll woosh it over the wet car with a wash mitt and rinse off. I always use HydrO2 Lite on the wheels. So, if I use these sort of products, why don't I like this BH stuff? 1) Unlike Wet Coat etc, there isn't the option for an off label application like via a wet mitt, 2) I simply didn't see the reaction I am used to seeing when you sprayed it off.
Sounds like I've found another brother-from-another-mother. Like you, I wouldn't apply something like this unless I'd already done a contact wash and would only use it for a quick fix, preferring to have control over what and where I'm applying an LSP and again, I'm a fan of Wet Coat on wheels. I've bought some Touch-On to try, though I'll be applying it via a sprayer, as I don't like products on my glass and a cannon wouldn't be as controllable.
Not of the current stuff I've have impressed me. The stuff from Chem-X have pretty curious. He has a lot of different touchless stuff that make sense how they work. Have you seen their stuff yet?
Just to note auto foam isn't really a contact wash soap, you need the auto wash as the AF doesn't have the same lubricants and chemically very different.
But also I love BH but I agree touchless is underwhelming if I had a winter coat of double speed wax on and I was 5months in and it was a little cold so I wanted to top and I had some around I might use it
Jesus Brian, that was far too much product applied when it came to the Wetcoat, 2 sprays per panel, I find you get high spots with anymore than that!!!! Good job with the sound though, the chanel is sounding great again!!!!!!
Nice comparison video Brian. I was not very impressed at all with the touchless product. It seems they are years behind in ceramic protection. I have heard that there products are top sellers in Europe and Great Britain in particular. I have seen a lot of favorable reviews of there auto shampoo's. Its finally starting to warm up here on the frozen tundra of Minnesota. I cant wait to try out the new Koch Chemie NMS Nano Magic Shampoo, wow was it expensive though. Can anyone share there experiences and thoughts on NMS?
I use BH auto wheel..and its fantastic. I've heard auto foam and the Touch-less is great too. But this product doesn't seem that great to be honest. WetCoat seems to be a better product.
I don’t really like spray on products like that. I just can’t get behind it. I just don’t feel I am getting everything protected. As it should be. I mean I am just spraying water the product is just going to go wherever it wants to go. 🤔 no thanks. I’ll get my hands on the car I’ll feel better
I think it's because they've recently ventured into the export market big time. They've historically kept their business in the UK (and some EU countries), but as an English brand BH have been around for a long time and have an incredibly good reputation. I use their Autofoam and Surfex HD religiously as it trumps everything else for efficiency and price.

Ive always wanted to tryout stars and stripes, Does it strip wax?
Great video
Completely agree.
I don’t think bilt hamber will go into the ceramics scene too much , they concentrate on cleaning vehicles and rust inhibitor products
Nice video as always 😃 i did it with sonax extreme spray and seal. And it worked pretty good. It is okay till the next wash (once a week)
Sounds like I've found another brother-from-another-mother.
Like you, I wouldn't apply something like this unless I'd already done a contact wash and would only use it for a quick fix, preferring to have control over what and where I'm applying an LSP and again, I'm a fan of Wet Coat on wheels.
I've bought some Touch-On to try, though I'll be applying it via a sprayer, as I don't like products on my glass and a cannon wouldn't be as controllable.
hey.. its also ment to contact wash. its in the instruction.. auto foam is ment to be a preewash... 😉
cool product!
Blue Rinse for me.😁👍🏻
Are you leaving any marks with the Glossmeter? Sounds a bit loud when you place it on the car?
Not al all... keep in mind.. the mic is right there a few inches away.
Generally bilthamber products are really good but expensive at least in Sweden.
It wasn’t shown in this video, but when you did your contact wash, did you use your 5 mitt system?
Yes...we didnt show the pre wash foam and rinse for the sake of time either.
Gyon wet coat is better & easer to apply
Puts plastic box on car with a clunk, I felt that!
That b on the packet looks like the b from Bang energy drinks.. saw your thumbnail and thought whoa Bang energy was branching out
This reminds me of the mothers ceramic car wash in the grey container.
It was actually weak. Will pass in that.
Great video though.
Not of the current stuff I've have impressed me.
The stuff from Chem-X have pretty curious. He has a lot of different touchless stuff that make sense how they work. Have you seen their stuff yet?
I shall look into it.
Just to note auto foam isn't really a contact wash soap, you need the auto wash as the AF doesn't have the same lubricants and chemically very different.
But also I love BH but I agree touchless is underwhelming if I had a winter coat of double speed wax on and I was 5months in and it was a little cold so I wanted to top and I had some around I might use it
Auto foam works wonderfully in a bucket....excellent balance.
How long does this last on vehicle? And do you need to clay car firts?
I would do your whole decon process first.
try sachet in a spray bottle like wet coat?
You can...another option yes.
I say just use Fusso soft coat 99
I have three cans of the original formula
Nothing beats it
Jesus Brian, that was far too much product applied when it came to the Wetcoat, 2 sprays per panel, I find you get high spots with anymore than that!!!!
Good job with the sound though, the chanel is sounding great again!!!!!!
Went through quite a few mics to find this one. Thank you.
I have not had the pleasure of trying NMS as of yet.
I use BH auto wheel..and its fantastic. I've heard auto foam and the Touch-less is great too. But this product doesn't seem that great to be honest. WetCoat seems to be a better product.
A lot of people here seem to be making the same mistake - it's NOT ceramic protection!
Honestly I have never tried a spray and rinse type of product. Haven’t wanted to yet.. maybe once I use up more stuff! LOL
Autobrite Direct Ceramic Magiseal
I don’t really like spray on products like that. I just can’t get behind it. I just don’t feel I am getting everything protected. As it should be. I mean I am just spraying water the product is just going to go wherever it wants to go. 🤔 no thanks. I’ll get my hands on the car I’ll feel better
autoglyms polar series work better in my experence
I shall look into it.
Where y'all buying Bilt Hamburger products??
Absolutely not my thing and I’d never recommend it myself. Bilt Hamber seem to be grabbing hold of all the TH-camrs!
I have a local distributor that sells the whole line. I am enjoying most of them so far.
The maker of this vid really needs to understand the difference between touch less, and no touching whatsoever. They are not the same,
Satch-it
Looks like a gimmick to me.

Commy bot strikes again.
