I think most people would be more likely to recall cross streets or businesses nearby...but a smuggler would be paying attention to where the cops are.

"No passport no entry" doesn't apply to citizens of the country. There may be a penalty for entering without a passport but as a citizen you have right to abode. If you send them back then that country obviously wouldn't let them in without a passport.

Sometimes their "gotcha" questions are so dumb. I have gone to places without doing any research before. It is lots of fun. I went to Istambul like that and while i was there already i have started looking for places to visit. I really recommend that, but only if you have other people to brainsorm with.

Here they would upgrade your flight if available and put you in the next closest flight. If no flight till next of day unfortunately you sleep on the terminal.
The man at 26:46 is so rude and arrogant beyond belief. If you visited an area known for cocaine smuggling, you should expect a search. Countries have the right and obligation to protect their citizens.

The guy from Nigeria, when they tested his suitcase for drugs, the customs officer was not wearing gloves at all and so surely, that trace could have come from him, if he does this to other people's bags without gloves? Most of them wear gloves so I cannot understand why he wasn't. They should wear a new pair of gloves for each test, to make sure that samples aren't contaminated. I mean, actually that could be contested legally. This poor chap was put through the wringer simply because he "looked suspicious" and "she didn't like " what he was telling her. I feel they should have much more evidence about wrong doing than a customs officer "doesn't like" them before they pull them over and start asking personal questions.

I find this cigarette smuggling odd because in my country you can receive a huge fine or prosecution but the people on this show lose their cigarettes and allowed to go free.

Most drugs don’t come with individual people on flights, since you can bring much larger amounts of drugs in more efficiently in other ways.

A question that annoys me ,"where u get all that money or jewelry" unlike what a lot of these customs may think,we aren't as poor as they may think,example jewelry is part of our culture. We wear them when we dress to go out,questions like where u get money to buy such jewelry or where u get all that money from. It's hard earned money .
There’s a limit of how much cash and valuables you can bring into a country though. You have declare them even if that’s your culture to wear expensive stuff.

You notice everybody that got off the Nigerian flight, hassle free...no 2nd look...was white. The one black guy on the flight gets pulled to the side for extra check. Wether he's guilty or not, I just find it kind of weird they didn't suspect any other passenger.
The first guy appeared to be drunk and suspicious. How could possibly he cleared the customs? Amazing.

There's a massive black market for them. They're about $14 a pack in the UK and less than a third of that in Eastern Europe and elsewhere.
