The author does like to from scratch, th-cam.com/users/postUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. As another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us don’t have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we won’t be able to practise the full stack project, is still great.

Congrats, Travis!! It's bittersweet having all that excitement and then experiencing loss right on top of it. But being your own boss gives you the space to deal with those types of things on your own timeline and I hope that helped you. I'm super stoked and excited for you. The journey isn't easy, but the road is wide open and you're in the driver seat. Can't wait to see where you go!!!

Your monologue for your uncle was riveting. What a wonderful way to honor someone so influential in your life. Your advise to pick up the phone and talk to that special person is golden. I can no longer do that. My grandfathers, father, younger brother and the two best friends in my life are all gone. Talk to them before it's too late.

Congrats bro! Not surprised you’re going all in. Surprised you took so long.
You inspired me to start my channel last year. And an etsy shop with 3D printed tool accessories! Thank you!
I’m sorry to hear about uncle Ron. I’m sorry for your loss. I appreciate your ending and that you included it. Sharing like you did honors the grief you feel and allows it to do its job. Stay tender hearted. You are impacting others the way Uncle Ron impacted you. In my experience, every new season usually coincides with the sad ending of something or the loss of someone. It’s crazy how that works. Creating and loss tend to go together.
    Blessings from San Antonio.

The apple hasn’t fallen to far from the tree, that is obvious. You both have an entrepreneurial spirit. Though he is not here to see & hear your latest video, I can’t help but think that perhaps he is in fact a witness to it. You did the right thing by honoring him. I'm sorry for your loss, your uncle clearly meant a lot to you. Thank you for sharing your vulnerability and memories with us, it is refreshing to see people on here go through difficulties in life as well. I hope you continue to cherish the memories you have with your uncle and heal in time.
Really excited for you taking this chance in your journey of life. I would like to see you create a dust collection "fix" for the 10" DeWalt miter saw. Lots of those out there and the dust collection is as bad as the rest, especially the long plastic tube sticking out the back which also affects trying to get that setup in a miter saw station akin to what you have.
Another project would be dust collection for lathes that will work with both wood and acrylics. There is also the variable of midi and full size lathes which would require different sized collections systems due to body size of the lathes. Something that has strong magnets so it stays attached to the lathe and a track for moving the dust head left or right maybe. Just some thoughts.
Maybe create a center finder for round objects. When turning on a lathe we sometimes use round pieces of wood whether it is a tree limb or processed piece. Have a more accurate way of finding center of various sized round pieces would be beneficial because you want that piece as centered as posible on the lathe to prevent vibration and just make things easier to work with.
Feel free to reach out to me directly if you need more info for considering these project options.

Your message at the end of the video was both emotional and heartfelt. It made me think about all the people in my life who influenced what I did and where I am today. Many of them aren't with us anymore but would be excited and proud of where I am. It also made me think of those people I need to reach out to and talk with. You uncle Ron is I'm sure extremely proud of you and looking over you from the other side. Congratulations on the big decision to move to doing what you do so well and are passionate for. I've had 7 career changes in my life and each one was for the better. I'll follow you to get to "Shop Greatness" in my own shop!
