Sorry, no. There have been people who grew a lot of hair back by doing scalp stretches with no kind of grow band. Just by hand. That necessarily means that any aid to this (like a grow band) will have the same effect. It may even be more effective, if it's able to stretch areas of the scalp that are hard to do by hand. Yo guys! I actually own one of these. I tried it for a year and I wasn't all that impressed. I was doing scalp massages every night before I bought it. My thought was that it may work better than the massages to improve my scalp elasticity and it would also free up my hands so I could relax more while doing it. After using it for about a year, I wasn't seeing any better results than from the massage AND I think my scalp became LESS elastic. I have since gone back to the scalp massage and it seems my elasticity has again increased. One of the reasons I didn't like the grow band was because it squeezed the shit out of my head. The majority of the force goes straight inward to your skull and it always seemed that I would have to increase the pressure to some unreasonable level to get the scalp movement I wanted. The scalp massage is safer and also gives you the ability to focus in on specific areas of the scalp rather than just moving the entire scalp. No, those studies are junk and do not show any causal association between hairloss and blood flow. And in fact, microneedling literally does NOTHING. It's so hilarious how many people waste their time stabbing themselves with needles thinking it'll grow their hair. Not a single study shows microneedling alone increases hair growth or density.
Agree that growthband is just a silly object…but So if scalp tension is not involved at all in AGA how do you explain the results of Botox studies done a few years ago? Where they clearly show that injecting Botox and consequently totally relaxing the muscles of the scalp perimeter for a few months stopped hair loss for 75% of the patient with 18% hair re-growth, almost double than what finasteride can do…
Because I’d does help hair loss, but through yet another path way. I did some digging and found it. I don’t have it handy though. Interesting breakthroughs to be sure.
To be fair, when I watched a video from Hairgaurd, the guy on there seemed to be saying that the scalp tension theory doesn't say that DHT has no cause, but that when there is scalp tension, the DHT expression starts to become an issue for hair loss. That is that the tension is part of the chain of causes, not the only cause. It isn't, at least according to the video I saw on Hairgaurd, the idea that DHT isn't a factor. It seems to be the idea that scalp tension is at least part of the cause, if not a root or more fundamental structural problem in the problem fo hair loss. I agree that the theory of scalp tension is totally different from whether or not the scalp treatment hairband actually works.
The scalp tension theory is way too believable given the recent studies about the AGA relation to tension in the galea. Hopefully there’s an alternate way of relieving scalp tension, since Botox therapy isn’t even approved as an actual treatment for hair loss :(

No I don´t use the helmet anymore. I haven´t used it alongside finasteride so I can´t tell. I have used the helmet for 10 months started in June/July 2018 (don´t remember exactly). During that time I was using helmet only - big mistake! Not saying that LLLT as such is BS, but maybe the helmet I had might have had just too few medical grade lasers and way too many LED´s. I didn´t feel like it worked at all (besides experiencing heat sensation on the scalp after using). Starting Finasteride was the time when I noticed reduced shedding (back in late 2019). Before that I was using my home-made zix solution for 3-4 months which seemed to work also btw. Nonetheless I decided to switch to approved stuff like Finasteride. I was on Minoxidil several time - even before my hair transplant on and off without an effective AR inhibitor/anti androgen - mistake! I may reconsider adding LLLT device with better quality (medical-grade) lasers to my regimen later again.
I think you are shitting on them because they criticized Finastride which you use. without even trying it yourself how the hell you will know the effectiveness ?

Hell no
it make sense , as stabelizer so make no high expectations about scalp massage
Hairguard reviews are bogus. e.g. it shows 105 5 star reviews but you click on it ... nothing show up.
thank you brother

BLUDFLOW!
I am gonna copy this link and share it hair guard video comment section
Hi, Matt make a video on current hair condition.
Noted!
Why don't you try it for a month and tell us what happens? :)
is far easier simply dump shit pretending to be an expert
I don't know if grow Band works or not, however it writes on their site that if you are not satisfied they will refund within 365 days? it will be true I don't know .. has anyone got a refund from them? Thanks
Me, I got a refund without any problem
This sounds more like a send up than real
Matt do you still use your laser Helmet? if so, do you think it made some improvements along with finasteride?
@@letsgethair Which helmet were you using when you were doing LLLT?
I restore, the basic model for 500-600$
@@letsgethair how many lasers or leds did it have Matt?
irestore uses leds and leds are not as effective as laser diodes, apparently. a cap that only uses medical grade laser diodes is better
haha love this dude!
Glad you enjoyed!
Minoxidil opens hair potassium channels
I think you are shitting on them because they criticized Finastride which you use. without even trying it yourself how the hell you will know the effectiveness ?
JUST BELIEVE IN BLŲĎ FLØ
Lmao, that intro tho hahah
I love how Hairguard have become the laughing stock of the hairloss community. Upon reading the comments on their videos I think the only people that would even waste their time on such products are often people in third world countries with a very poor understanding of hair loss treatments, and the English language for that matter - Dear Sir, please halep me. My hairs are falling.
At least they are giving natural solutions without side effects, I respect Hairguard .
@@ouiameutamene7494 That don't work.
@@ouiameutamene7494 doesnt work thats the problem. As a wise man(n) once said: you cant fight nature with nature.
@@Cartman5101 How do you know that they don't work? Just because the grow band is questionable, doesn't mean all of their products are useless..
It's physical per se. And physical is the most effective that works without dangerous effects for all people.
filthy frank vibes haha
Blood Flow only grow hair fast just this. Does not stimulate hair growth.
Baldies will try anything. They’ll turn into bald scientists and defend placebo effects lmao
that wasnt very nice... or necessary
@@thomasjefferson6334 But fun. Oh, and entertaining. :). You can’t sell something and not have thick skin. It goes with the business of business.
@@thomasjefferson6334It's interesting that the video creator loved that comment which insulted the people whom he's trying to persuade to pay him for a "consultation". He must agree that they "will try anything" and this video was made out of anger at Hairguard for intruding on his grift.
I tried this company other product hairguard HAIRCOMB (as they recommend)and the Elixir serum, both didn't help at all!!not even reduce hair loss,I gues this other product growband is another useless product they sell!i had lot of success with cheaper products like serums, oils,so seems this company is scam due to their useless expensive products,if you plan to buy device, buy laser comb,it worked for me wonders!! ,i have to mention that customer service refunded me after returning product, but i lost money shipping fee and customs fee i paid, dont buy this shit!
Haha finally a video showing the growband scam
