I got my Ninja Luxe Cafee Espresso maker about a week ago. I had already used it 4-5 times before I watched this video. I was hoping for some more knowledge but I kept finding myself saying out loud what do next… or what seemed skipped? Also please talk during the video or voice over so we know what you are trying to show us what you are doing? I’ll watch a few more of your videos and hoping they may give more info than I got from this one. ☕️
I can't wait to get my hands on this machine. Once I have the $500 of course lol. I have a Gaggia Classic and a Flair I use every so often, but this is one of those machines I would use when I don't feel like going through the whole process, especially when I just want to make a quick cup of coffee in the morning. If the espresso is too bitter, it means there was too much extraction, usually due to too fine of a grind, which causes the water to move through the puck much slower, increasing the extraction. Typically, for a double shot, you want 18g of coffee in and 36g of espresso out in usually about 30 seconds. Of course, you can change it up based on your taste. I don't know how much the machine is grinding and how long it running for during the extraction, but that is something you might want to look into, then adjust grind size accordingly. Also, keep in mind the water temp, higher for light roast and lower for dark roast, that can also effect flavor.
@@Saga286 Thank you for your feedback! I need to play around with the settings… I did a little bit but honestly it might just be too strong for me 😂 I tried the temp already, I think I’ll adjust the grind size the next time I try the espresso… So far I’ve tried the other styles and it’s producing strong but good coffee… Only the espresso isn’t quite what I want but the first adjustment was actually better tasting so I might need to go the other direction… I‘ll see! I need to watch back and see where I started verses what direction it had me going in so I can make the numbers go back because the taste was good and got bitter the 4th/5th time around of trying/trials.
@@leeedwards6133 I don’t remember seeing that in the instructions but no, I haven’t had any issues thus far. I normally turn it off after use and I’ve moved to a different place so the space in between the cabinet and top of the Ninja is larger/wider.

Have you had any problems with using it under your wall cabinet as I believe it says in the instructions not to use under a wall cabinet?
