My guess is that Ninja thought people would just use the luxe basket to make filter if they wanted a longer coffee. From a couple of videos I've seen though (most notably James Hoffmann's) the grinder isn't really very filter capable. The ironic thing is that, in the UK at least, not sure about the rest of Europe, making an americano is trivial without a water spout because EVERY household has a kettle.
I wonder if North America will get the extra features soon….i want to buy one of these but I’d prefer having the hot water dispenser and single shot option…
The thing I really like about this machine besides the price and incredible versatility, is that it is "consumer friendly." If you look on Ninja's website and search for parts for this machine, I counted 22 replacement parts available for consumer purchase. Just about anything you can remove without tools can be purchased and replaced easily. Also, they already have a parts page built for the upcoming ES701 as well, and you can buy the single shot basket there (when it becomes available) which I think should also work on the ES601/501 as well. Another thing worth noting is that the "funnel" that is available on the ES601 parts page is nowhere to be found on the ES701's parts page. Indicating to me that the ES701 will no longer need that silly funnel. (which is also what I thought from looking at the picture of it) 🙂 Making the ES701 well worth the wait IMO.
Yes, I like that they have replacement parts available, too. It's a well thought out product in my estimation, which is great especially considering it's their first foray into espresso machines. Looking forward to the ES701, too!
Thank you for the perfect video as usual, Tom. I´ve found beans and the way how to make nearly perfect espresso of Italian type (for me) on Dedica 685 and I´m thinking where to move forward. I´m considering Barista Express Impress (maybe also without impress), but the Ninja Luxe Cafe looks also interesting (not good design, but great price, especially 501, what is enough for me, no cold brew). Oracle Jet looks also great (except the price). I´m little afraid to buy a machine that makes coffee not better for me than the existing cheap one.
Thank you for your informative videos. Unfortunately after a little over two months I just returned my machine for a replacement. At first it was great and made very good espresso. I use beans from a local roaster, and like you wasn't thrilled with wasting so many beans when swapping between my decaf hopper and regular. I like your suggestion of using pre-ground for decaf. But overall my machine stopped producing good espresso. No matter what troubleshooting I tried, my shots were almost undrinkable and bitter/bad tasking. I reset, cleaned, tried different ratios, temps you name it. I thought it was just me, but then found many others having similar issues as I was. My Barista assist consistently went from 12 down to 01 every single time I reset regardless of beans or age of beans. I see yours is not on 01. I'm hoping my replacement machine works better and continues to work after a few months. And side note, I didn't drop my funnel and it started chipping off just from putting it in the grinder. I wish they made it stainless steel or a stronger material.
No surprise reading this, a machine that does so many things at such a low price just screams "corner cutting" and lowest quality components. Not the recipe for a long lasting device.
Got mine on release day in the UK and am loving it so far, strange they have decided to bring out other variants after the fact but this would have gone for the ES601 anyway I think. Not tried the cold drinks yet (Its October after all!) but no complaints. Great that you can change the strength to a 2:1 easily, turn off the beeps and reduce the milk temperature on the auto steam. Drip tray does fill up quickly but my biggest complaint is all the coffee I am getting through now! Oh also does a great job with oat milk, probably better than normal cow juice, very impressive.
Great video. I like that both you and Kev are really fair and not snotty about the Ninja. It’s a great machine! Is it an expert espresso maker? Probably not but it’s also by far the best machine available for people who want great coffee and milk drinks and not another hobby!!! Thanks for the pre-ground coffee info. That’s handy for the odd decaf. Glad it was reasonably good and not messing with the grind settings. The cold foam totally rocks!!! I have made several steamed milks and cold milk drinks with syrup and absolutely love the steam wand / swirly thing for anything milk. Hot chocolate with steamed milk is amazing too. Just for that I would buy the ninja again.
I also cracked my funnel! Called ninja and they said it would be covered under warranty but they have to wait for it to be in stock! Fortunately still works fine with a crack in it but I'm assuming it is eventually going to give up. I still love it and would totally buy it again. I might have to design and 3d print a beefier funnel.
This morning I'm drinking a coffee from a machine with an E61 group head, with fresh beans, ground from an expensive grinder. It didn't taste all that great, frankly. The thought of a machine that can crap out a decent-quality coffee without any hassle has suddenly become quite appealing.
I love americanos, and I settled for the drip coffee based on the price. I have had problems with mine from the start, with inconsistent first brews when the machine is cold and excessive water in the catch tray. I suspect a defective valve passes water from the brew head to the collection tray. Ninja is going to replace it. I am very disappointed to learn I bought one of these too soon. Now I am going to argue for the upgraded version. Thanks!
Hi there - don't be discouraged...these machines need a LOT of water to cool down the thermoblocks after steaming. I have to dump mine every 1-2 days depending on use. Cheers!
Getting the machine in Canada from ninja is definitely hard. I'm still on the waiting list. But Canadian tire is slowly getting stock. The stores in my area seem to be getting a machine or two every few days. It wasn't hard to get that way.
Thanks for showing the preground version! I’ve been holding off on buying because I have a few cans of lavazza decaf I wanted to use up vs throwing out. Your example was my exact use case for pre-ground (or ground outside of this machine).
I'm from the UK and I ordered mine on the first October and it arrived next day which I was really surprised as it was a pre order purchase and delivery est was for the end of October. So I've been using it for a about a week now and it's amazing!
My krups bean to cup machine finally died after nearly 9 years of regular daily use. We've decided to go for the Ninja but sadly it is all sold out and has been for a few days everywhere. We will go with the 701 as the idea of that funnel breaking will annoy me as I drop pretty much everything so will likely break that too.
I love this machine, it's so easy to use, the whole family use it after only showing them how to use it once. I am slightly suspicious however of the barista assist, it has me grinding the beans on setting 1. It could be that i have poor quality beans but I dont think that is the case, the puck seems quite wet after making an espresso. I'm beginning to suspect that something isnt right.
I'd still like to know if there's a way to bypass the cleaning process?! We rainwater collect our water out in the boonies, no well, no city or county water...just fresh quadruple German filtered, UV lighted 99.9% water, no need to clean the machine...can we bypass it? I'm coming from a DeLonghi Magnifica and Nespresso Vertuo and just hate that you are forced to endure the cleaning phase with both.
Very good video, as always. I am not a fan of this machine due to the unusual portafilter (I am rather "classic" in espresso) and little work space, but I appreciate the manufacturer's slightly non-standard approach. The pressure is 99% not adjusted, which can be seen through the water flow. The pump simply had no way to generate more pressure with this (pre-grounded) coffee. Maybe ask Ninja if they could send you a 701 model for testing? :p PS: Will you check out the new H10 Plus model from HiBrew? It seems like a game changer for the price.
Hey Tom, it wad available for like an hour on the german ninja site. Had the chance to order the 601 and they will deliver it this week. Thanks for the reviews ;)
@@TomsCoffeeCorner So I tried it out and got to say it is quite nice. However the single espresso is really terrible, because the machine just struggles with it and the grind goes all over the place from 5 to 20 and back to 4 and 24 again.. thats not the case with the double basket. Well it doesnt bother me since I like the double espresso, but maybe you can try the single basket when you get the 701.
I think the reason the EU model can do more things is because of 3 things 1 EU has 220V/16A so a max of 3500W per breaker/socket 2 all bugs the USA model has which customers complained about will be fixed/patched out. 3 Competition in the espresso market is much more fierce, especially when you realize you can get a top model super-auto for just about the same money, that can do just as much if not more than that machine
It doesn’t build confidence in Ninja aficionados. You feel punished for being the early adopter. The stuff omitted from the US market (hot water, Americano). Is just odd. Seems like it wasn’t thought through.
Keep in mind that the motors will run better on 60hz then the 50hz. Also both eu and us systems require 1650 watts to run on max. On normal settings you won’t even come close to those wattages. In the us a kitchen circuit is 2400 watts at 20 amps which is generally enough especially since there must be 6 minimum circuits through out the kitchen by code. Although I am slightly jealous of the 220 single phase one leg setup vs out 120/240 single phase two leg setup haha
hi Tom what do you think about a delonghi Evo or the Ninja Luxe Cafe, I love to "play" with the different settings and the manual process feels better for me than just press a button, but if the result are more or less similar maybe pressing a button is also ok (?) I tested an expresso from Delonghi the result was not disapointing for me but still l didn't get a hand on a ninja, so I don't know how it can be different. At the end it's about the expresso (the base for all the others drinks)
It seems like you count your shot when it starts pouring that’s good to know. Do you also weigh your pours? I have been getting around 50g pour for the 18g shot which from what I hear is not ideal. What results are you getting?
The accessories seems to be the weak point with all Ninja devices. I paid $250 for the Hot/Cold Coffee maker. I dropped the tea basket and it broke, the insert broke also. That was a $50 mistake. They need to make the accessories more robust.
Hey Tom! Thank you so much for your insights! Since you are an engineer, how do you feel about the ES701? I cannot decide between the 601 and 701, since I get the impression of the 701 being built better (but I cannot confirm that). Also, it has the "improved steam wand", whatever Ninja may refer to with this. Also, I don't know how to feel about the tamping lever in terms of longevity etc. Do you have any deeper insights in the european models' diferences?
It really doesn't make sense for it to be internally any different. The steam wand is probably the wider one that he says is going to be in all EU models (can't see that on pictures in Amazon now though). Overall I think the most expensive version is just to milk some more money from the richer consumers.
I think the ES701 will be the same as the ES601 that I tore down. Just the steam wand looks beefier, which makes me think they added a line inside it, to make it non-burn. But yes, we will have to see how the tamper has been implemented.
Thanks for your good reviews, they are really well prepared. i'm from europe/germany and i'm waiting for the coffee machine. i'm not sure yet it will be the 601 or the 701. i currently have the DeLonghi LaSpecialista EX933X, also with an integrated tamper, it really makes it easier. the machine is a lot of years old, which is why i'm thinking about a new one. it would be nice if you could test the tamper function of the 701
Only issue for me with this product you're paying 720$ for the UK model for an extra hot water spout Seems quite expensive But ninja always sell them cheap shortly after or do huge discounts so best to wait The other issue is the longevity of these units. These aren't built to last for years unlike the sage or breville
They’re charging £549 here. I had a 10% voucher though. US prices don’t typically convert for any tech items. We normally get charged £s to $s so are used to being ripped off
How is the drip coffee quality compared to other machines and aeropress, chemex, etc? I don't drink espresso drinks but I'm looking for a machine with as little oversight and maintenance as possible that can make close to "pour-over quality" coffee.
Please help this new guy, what is the cheapest fully automatic espresso machine, including refurbished, that I should invest in to see if I use it enough to justify counter space
What do you think about the longevity of the Luxe Cafe, Tom? I want to buy it but I'm worried about that 1 year limited warranty. Do you think it would last at least say 2-3 years before having issues?
It seems similar to Breville, if I'm being honest. Just be sure to use filtered water and descale regularly. Calcium build up can clog the lines otherwise.
Hey Tom, hope everything is great. I have a question. I'm using delonghi dedica for making coffee at home and I highly benefitted from your videos in the past. I wonder whether a problem the delonghi machine has can be solved or not. So the problem is, after pulling a shot and stopping the flow, the machine keeps leaking for a while and leaving water/coffee drops for about a minute. For example I'm aiming to pull 36g of coffee but when I push the button and stop the brewing at 36g, it continues to give coffee and suddenly I end up with 45g of coffee in my cup, which is quite annoying. Hope I explained my problem clearly. I know dedica does this because it's a very entry-level machine and cannot stop the flow instantly because of the mechanism it has, but can it be prevented somehow to pull consistent shots, I wonder. Thanks in advance!
Hey Tom, love your videos! Do you happen to know if the 501 and 701 models will also be available in North America on Oct. 23 (or at some point)? Also, would you expect, if there is a North American 701 version, that it would have a hot water spout? Keep up the good work!
Thanks much! So far, the Ninja USA website doesn't show the ES501 or ES701, so I don't think so, at least not at this point. I feel like they might be overwhelmed with the launch, since they're sold out most of the time. Maybe when they catch up with production, they can branch those models back to the USA. For sure, I am most excited for the ES701, but I think the ES501 is going to have the best value. Cheers!
Hey Tom, I’m completely new to your channel. I found you while I was browsing for a new machine. Your videos are pretty helpful in that regard. I’m still not sure which machine to get. I kind of narrowed it down to three machines. The Ninja Luxe in its highest iteration, the Delonghi Specialista and the Sage Barista (Touch). I am okay with a price of probably max 1.200€. As of right now I own a Siemens EQ700. I just don’t like the way it tastes anymore. The milky drinks usually have a watery taste to them. Do you have any recommendations for me? Within those series I’m okay with the different machines. I like to make some coffee for myself and visitor every once in a while. Actually nothing special but I’m still that kind of person that rather has the functionality instead of needing it. I gotta say though, Stuff like cold brew was never a thing for us. We don’t mind to just pour the hot espresso over ice. I am kind of “scared” of the Specialista since you’ve mentioned a few problems with it. And my first automatic machine was a rather expensive Delonghi which broke 4 TIMES and leaked Water all over my kitchen. So I am a little careful with that brand even though people swear on it. Their milk was the best in an automatic machine I have to admit. I would really love to get a response from you for either a recommendation or a tip.
@ Hey Tom, I did follow your recommendation with the La Specialista Touch. Can definitely recommend the machine if people are looking for some kind of automation. But I figured for me it’s a bit too much. Coming from a fully automatic I’m actually looking for a bit more manual „labor“. And one thing that really does get on my nerves is the fact that the coffee keeps dripping after a shot has been pulled. I don’t know if that’s my fault or if it’s due to the fact that there is no back flushing built in. So with this in mind. Do you have a new recommendation for me :D Looking for something different I guess. I found that I prefer heating and frothing the milk myself rather than using the automatic function of the machine. If the Sage Barista Express had an Baratza Grinder I would prolly go with that. The Pro is an option as well. Pleeaase help :D Thanks a lot
For the missing features: Ninja apparently made a survey in north America and concluded that they didn't wanted these features. I'd like to get the ES701 but I can't justify it since I got the ES601 for 150$ CAD off.
@@TomsCoffeeCorner What is always forgotten when comparing prices with the USA: These are prices without taxes. Depending on the buyer's state, these are added in varying amounts.
@@TomsCoffeeCorner Exact problem is still unknown. Since I don’t have any espresso machine repair knowledge yet and I didn’t want to void my warranty, I didn’t start poking around inside. It’s definitely something with the brewing portion since I’ve tried altering the grind size and have used the grinder portion for making aero presses. It either is off with the flow/pressure of water or the temp of the water. Adjusting the ratio in the advanced settings didn’t make anything better. They are still out of stock from Ninja’s perspective and I’m still out $500.
The Ninja Lux was not designed to make Americano, for the US market version, because they thought do Americans really want Americanos. It was a drink literally made for Americanos, the Italian equivalent of calling them Gringo's "Get the Gringo some coffee, but water it down like we do the tequila'. The italian barista/bartender said 'You want a coffee I'll make you one'. The American drank and thought 'Wow that is bitterly strong sir'. The Italian knew what to do. Just water it down'. The Ninja Lux does make Americanos. Just make the coffee then go pour some hot or cool water into in the sink. Poof you made an Americano. These are Coffee Jokes.
I would be interested in the ES701 when it comes out. But if it doesn't have the water jet and all the same features that the European model has, I will boycott Ninja and not buy it as we all should. Ninja's gotta learn.
I found his review fair. I think the longevity of the machine was his biggest concern knowing ninjas past. He did say it was ninjas first coffee machine and that's not true. Ninja has half a dozen different coffee machines, but yes it's the first espresso. Yes it's got plastic parts. No, it's not a sexy machine. Yes, it's kind of ugly on my counter but so are all the other appliances that I need to keep out. I dont need an Instagram kitchen.
One of the “negatives” he pointed out in his video though is actually addressed in this one. James claimed that you can’t purge the grinder burrs when you change between grind settings without running a full grind and then turning the machine off and on again. As demonstrated in this video, you actually can
For ethical reasons...i will not be considering this product. It's a shark ninja product. I appreciate not everyone will agree but enjoy the product if you for purchase.
Agreed. "for ethical reasons" is a bit vague, I'd also be interested to know if there's something specifically evil about SharkNinja beyond "big company bad".@@niklasolsson-wv9eu
Sure. Shark Ninja are sadly on the Israel Boycott list. CEO has given funds and supports the IDF. From my research, none of the products are made on settlers land (Forcibly taken post 1967). So for some it may be ok. Oh and please dont shout or threaten me (anyone). I won't respond. Each to their own.

I tested an expresso from Delonghi the result was not disapointing for me but still l didn't get a hand on a ninja, so I don't know how it can be different. At the end it's about the expresso (the base for all the others drinks)
It seems like you count your shot when it starts pouring that’s good to know. Do you also weigh your pours? I have been getting around 50g pour for the 18g shot which from what I hear is not ideal. What results are you getting?
501 and 601 are now available on the German manufacturer's website. The 10% discount code does not apply to coffee machines.
The 601 is already sold out again. The 501 is still available to order.
@@thisismyday287 Thanks for that info!
The accessories seems to be the weak point with all Ninja devices. I paid $250 for the Hot/Cold Coffee maker. I dropped the tea basket and it broke, the insert broke also. That was a $50 mistake. They need to make the accessories more robust.
Hi Tom, I’m a little confused. Does the ES601 have a hot water dispenser? Thank you
Hi there! The US one doesn't. But apparently the European models do. I have yet to confirm it though. Cheers!
is it possible to buy a single basket elsewhere and use it on this machine?
@@jankoodziej877It's for selling it to your wife that doesn't want the fuss of having to use a tamper. 😅
I think the ES701 will be the same as the ES601 that I tore down. Just the steam wand looks beefier, which makes me think they added a line inside it, to make it non-burn. But yes, we will have to see how the tamper has been implemented.
Why can’t we buy the ES701 in Europe now?
For the preground, have you tried tamping again after you remove the funnel?
Why does the scale tary every time isnt that porta basket filter the same weight
Thanks for your good reviews, they are really well prepared.
i'm from europe/germany and i'm waiting for the coffee machine. i'm not sure yet it will be the 601 or the 701.
i currently have the DeLonghi LaSpecialista EX933X, also with an integrated tamper, it really makes it easier. the machine is a lot of years old, which is why i'm thinking about a new one.
it would be nice if you could test the tamper function of the 701
I'm hoping to get my hands on one, once they are available. Cheers!
Ordered my 601EU yesterday . should arrive tomorrow. Im excited :D
Did it arrive?
can you use a 54 mm puck screen for this machine?
Only issue for me with this product you're paying 720$ for the UK model for an extra hot water spout
Seems quite expensive
But ninja always sell them cheap shortly after or do huge discounts so best to wait
The other issue is the longevity of these units. These aren't built to last for years unlike the sage or breville
They’re charging £549 here. I had a 10% voucher though.
US prices don’t typically convert for any tech items. We normally get charged £s to $s so are used to being ripped off
Any idea if the 701 will come out in America or if it's just a UK option?
Try using some Sugru to fix your funnel. Works great on most plastics.
That stuff is excellent!
How is the drip coffee quality compared to other machines and aeropress, chemex, etc? I don't drink espresso drinks but I'm looking for a machine with as little oversight and maintenance as possible that can make close to "pour-over quality" coffee.
It's not close to pour over in my opinion. It's more like brewed drip coffee, and it's kind of muddled. But as a secondary function it's decent.
do a comparison between the luxe and the breville oracle espresso
Please help this new guy, what is the cheapest fully automatic espresso machine, including refurbished, that I should invest in to see if I use it enough to justify counter space
This is it.
It realy tempting option, especially for me as my grinder is dying
How about Australia? I'm thinking of getting my mum one.
When will a 701 be available in the US?
When ES701 will available in Canada?
Oh gosh, I don't know. It seems to not be available anywhere yet. Probably 2025.
@@TomsCoffeeCorner That is my conclusion too. The number for Canadian will be ES701C, like the ES601C which is unavailable too.
Trying to decide between this and a super automatic now that’s available in Germany…..
How hot does water get
Hey Tom, hope everything is great.
Hi there! That's the residual pressure still acting on the puck. I just swap out cups at 36 grams, to catch the remaining drips. Cheers!
In this machines there is a valve that fail after a time. You can check that
@@TomsCoffeeCorner I guess there's no other solution then, thanks a lot!
Not available in the Netherlands up to now….
Americano is design to replace drip coffee in Europe. If you're in North America just get a regular coffee.
Not really. In Germany, a drip coffee maker is usually used. Or fully automatic machines.
I would agree with that. I think Americano is what the GIs drank while in Europe, to resemble a 'normal' american coffee.
I’m buying my first espresso machine. Do I want the ninja or delonghi magnifica evo :)
I'd go for the Ninja.
Can someone give an advice, I'm using almond milk, so why milk foam is not uniform mixed... mean foam is separated from milk staying on top
Cheers!
Hi how can I get the 701 model in américa.?is there a way to do so
When will all models be in Australia at all.Have contacted Ninja zero reply.
I guess early 2025...
@@TomsCoffeeCorner Hope so could mention in your clips Australia love your channel
@@Snip59 Thanks! I’m told that if they all come to AU, it’ll be not before early 2025. Same for the US it seems.
Honestly, any of those will do fine. But consider the new Delonghi La Specialista Touch if you do consider that brand.
@ thank you for the quick response. Any reason why you would direct me to that instantly?
I’ve seen that machine as well. Seems to be a good one.
@@VolkanDon I saw it today in the store. Looks like they finally made some nice upgrades on it.
@@TomsCoffeeCorner oh ok thanks a lot. I will take it into consideration. Would you prefer it over the Ninja and Sage?
@ Hey Tom, I did follow your recommendation with the La Specialista Touch. Can definitely recommend the machine if people are looking for some kind of automation.
But I figured for me it’s a bit too much. Coming from a fully automatic I’m actually looking for a bit more manual „labor“.
And one thing that really does get on my nerves is the fact that the coffee keeps dripping after a shot has been pulled. I don’t know if that’s my fault or if it’s due to the fact that there is no back flushing built in.
So with this in mind. Do you have a new recommendation for me :D
Looking for something different I guess. I found that I prefer heating and frothing the milk myself rather than using the automatic function of the machine.
If the Sage Barista Express had an Baratza Grinder I would prolly go with that. The Pro is an option as well.
Pleeaase help :D
Thanks a lot
For the missing features: Ninja apparently made a survey in north America and concluded that they didn't wanted these features.
I'd like to get the ES701 but I can't justify it since I got the ES601 for 150$ CAD off.
So as always, a few people decide for the majority and we lose out 😢😢
does the 501 have barista assist? Kev suggested it might not.
Yeah, I think they left it out in the cheapest one.
If you scroll down 3/4 of the page, you will see that it's included in all 3 models: www.ninjakitchen.de/ninja-katalog/ninja-kaffeemaschine/
@@TomsCoffeeCorner oh, that's great, and bad, because now I don't know if I should get the cheapest model or the middle one 😅
It looks like 501 is without single espresso. Is it possible?
Need to get one of these before the end of the year
your website link for Ninja doesn't work
Which one?
How much is it going to cost in Europe? Because so far I’ve seen it sell for at least 700 euros or more…😢
ES601EU: 549 EUR in Germany
It's a little more, because Europe charges import fees. The USA generally doesn't levy such fees, at least not under $800.
@@TomsCoffeeCorner What is always forgotten when comparing prices with the USA: These are prices without taxes. Depending on the buyer's state, these are added in varying amounts.
why can we get es 701 in usa
Thank you tom,i will wait for the one with tamper.
The 501 has no hot water sprout.
My machine broke after about 10 days. Started tasting bad and just got worse. They are out of stock and waiting for a replacement machine. Very sad.
Crap! Sorry to hear that. What was the problem?
@@TomsCoffeeCorner Exact problem is still unknown. Since I don’t have any espresso machine repair knowledge yet and I didn’t want to void my warranty, I didn’t start poking around inside. It’s definitely something with the brewing portion since I’ve tried altering the grind size and have used the grinder portion for making aero presses. It either is off with the flow/pressure of water or the temp of the water. Adjusting the ratio in the advanced settings didn’t make anything better. They are still out of stock from Ninja’s perspective and I’m still out $500.
Now ill just have to wait for the Netherlands release of this product....
It’s SOLD OUT already (601EU) 😮😮😮
Where can I get the 701?
@@A_Castro_3 I honestly don’t think they are releasing that one until next year. They’re having trouble even keeping the ES 601 in stock.
this or the philips 3300???
Good machine. But the 25 grind for regular coffee is really atrocious. Big chunks.
Another day, another time freddo cappuccino is referred to as "cold foam espresso" lol
2 months and you still haven't removed the stickers.....smh
the more of these I watch, the more I want to ditch my gaggia
for the price, its an excellent back up coffee machine, especially if making cold drinks
You exposed your age when you said you will video tape it 😂
Lol, shhhh 🤫
@@TomsCoffeeCorner hey, I'm from the generation that had to rewind audio cassettes by hand and worry about them deforming in the car if it got too hot
Italy? No.
Damn
So many bells and whistles and engineered down to a price is a red flag on longevity.....
Takes more than 3 minutes to make a americano coffee
James Hoffmann was probably the only reviewer who wasnt that impressed, compared to all the others. Go figure.
Actually I got an impression that he was quite positive about it, for his high standards.
I thought that, he is a purist though, probably not aimed at perfectionists like Daddy Hoff!
I got the impression he was quite positive. He said the espresso was good. That's aproval.
As demonstrated in this video, you actually can
2:55. This creeped me out. I swear I heard a girl's voice say hello. Ha.
No Americano is a total fail! For that reason alone I would never purchase. Hopefully the US model gets that option soon.
If you show the machines in the thumbnail, show them in the video too!! TH-cam should ban clickbait accounts..
The other models aren't available yet. Ninja announced them but I didn't think anyone has them yet (at least not in North America)
I've heard your criticism. This video to point out that the machines are coming soon, so unfortunately I do not yet have access to them. Cheers!

Could you share your reasoning? I'm sure there'll be some of us who might be considering getting this option who would appreciate more context.
Sure. Shark Ninja are sadly on the Israel Boycott list. CEO has given funds and supports the IDF.
From my research, none of the products are made on settlers land (Forcibly taken post 1967). So for some it may be ok.
