I'd love to see exercises to improve standing leg turnout. These tips are mostly new to me and seem to really help!

@Mila Menkinoska Turnout comes from the rotators and glutes even when you're standing so her exercises would be good either way!

Thank you so much for your helpful videos. 😊
Even if I feel absolutely clumsy when trying to follow your instructions, it really helps, although I know that I'm way too old to become a good dancer. First started with ballet at 20 and had to stop several years later.
However, after my cancer diagnosis last year I've decided only to do anymore what I always wanted to and so I'm back with training ballet and just love it!

hi maria! this was so helpful because when I was applying your tips when trying to balance I really felt like a HUGE difference! before I was kind of wobbly and unstable and couldn't balance for more than 3 seconds but now i feel much more controlled. i never would've thought of these tips myself, but they really do help a lot!! thank you so much I've been really struggling with balance! (by the way can you please consider doing a video on back flexibility or foot flexibility? these are the two weak points of mine haha... thank you so much)

Thank you so much. I do the 'waltz des heures' tomorrow and we stand a lot croissé on the front leg with our back leg pointed to the back. I kept falling out of this simple position because we do big port des bras in this postion. Your tips helped me with my balance trying it at home (it's past midnight here after a late rehearsal) and I look forward to trying this on stage. You are my hero for this video!!

It a amazing, like even awsome, how technichals aprove and are going on. When I was young the teacher told us very often that we have our shoulder blades together from an ancle, so we had to see this point. We might have legged on our feet together, but of course we never turned out the support for our full foot.
    I love your Videos.

Thank you for very good tips - as usual! When it comes to the neck position, and raising your face a bit, I remember a teacher once described it with the words; "When you dance ballet, it's completely ok to look like you think you're a bit better than everyone else!" XD

3rd year of vaganova class, there are many frappes, rond de Jambe en lair, in keeping Demi pointe... it’s very difficult of frappe back and Rond in the air , stay on Demi pointe,
also preparation of pirouette, long balance from second position or after single pirouette to hold...
If you have extra tip for it it would be very appreciate but for now I will try from this video!!
    Thank you so much!!

stretching regularly before/after a class and workout helps because it loosens up/releases your muscles because when your muscles are so tight/not yet released, you tend to feel so stiff and you have a hard time balancing.

My ballet teacher always says to tuck my butt in, but because of these vids, I'm not too sure what to do. What do you think?
