- In this video I want to give you guys five of my favorite tips on how to train your BATTEMENT TENDU in class, and how to use these skills while then rehearsing and on stage performing. BATTEMENT TENDU is the key, one of the most important exercises for the dancer and you really need to keep working on it all the time because I feel like it can help with developing your feet strength, your turnout and even your core strength if executed correctly! So hopefully these tips can help some of you and hopefully you enjoy this video!

It's might seem like a very cruel comment from me. If the world doesn't have a world wide pandemic, your very busy traveling schedule would not allow many helpful TH-cam instruction Videos from a top ballerina in her prime, who is a bilingual, knowledgeable, very flexible body,with a positive attitude to appear regularly here. I know you have down time, but watching your channel really cheer up lots of people.

I never thought about what begins the movement of battement tendue. i am keeping it in mind and it makes the movement more interesting to perform. This video is wonderful, thank you so much!

Also great video! If you continue this series, can you cover really basic moves? Like pliés? Like tendues we just go through the motions but don’t focus on the ‚beginner‘ moves once we get more advanced. 🙂
