i feel like the cargo could potentially be too abusable, like buying frostmill cargo then resetting and selling it all at revenna. besides that everything else makes sense ships should definitely despawn after sometime with you not being at the wheel.
i dont think they should automatically despawn at all, actually. I think that after a certain amount of time you should get an option to despawn the boat.
The "downfall" of the player count is normal for literally all games that peak upon release and then still stay popular, just at a lesser degree. Also a lot of people probably will not play the game until the update drops and there is more content added to the story and game, where i can see the player count rising a ton again.
arcane reborn just turned into a dungeon crawler and its really hard to actually beat said dungeons without getting like 3 or 4 friends to help dungeons are a nice idea and could be really fun if executed well, not making it impossible to beat solo but having friends helps

If cargos respawned it could be easily abused. Imagine buying cargo at Redwake and you just reset, you would respawn in Ravenna and upon docking your ship you could just sell them without going all that way.
They could make it so if u reset your ship takes 1hp damage which would make it so the game thinks you were attacked and not respawn the cargo This way it'll only work if u accidentally disconnected and no way else

akursius keep as a dungeon would ruin it, the eeriness comes from the lack of enemies and having to piece together the story and draw your own conclusions
The player count for Arcane Reborn dropped well before AO released. AR had this massive update but it has an extremely new player unfriendly community along with some issues in the discord. It had a spike in players and then not even a month later went back to getting 100-150 players a day.
arcane odyssey just released and already has allot to offer, from early to endgame you'd still have allot to accomplish which in the arcane franchise is pretty relevant. Although they released the early access with an unfinished storyline it's still pretty decent nonetheless with it being more bearable to play than wom. Not saying its perfect though, bugs are still an issue though, some being game breaking like the sharks and sea monsters not working which i hope they'll fix. I've had a very fun time playing it, still grinding for the leaderboard, i just hope they'll balance out the classes and nerf mage as well as polishing the game for a better experience. (framerate issues are apparent as of now)
another thing, i think AO should remove level requirements for the story quests, because they're actually such a pain to grind to, ESPECIALLY when you get to sailor's lodge, but arcane reborn doesnt have those, and instead, lets you fail first to know when you need to get stronger gear
To be honest, I kinda disagree. Every boss is always the same and is usually difficult; this is true. HOWEVER, doing these bosses at certain levels makes PERFECT SENSE because vetex wants u to be prepared for the fight (i.e. having enough stats for fighting general Argos). I think the solution to this problem (yes I do agree the leveling part is the problem) is to implement more repeatable quests (good xp and galleons) between levels in which are currently hard to progress through (i.e. lvl 83 to lvl 93 at sailors lodge).
@@suprafastsammmy going from frostmill to the stepping stones shouldn't need a level requirement, bro...like, there isnt anything you're going to do that requires being level 40 other than the quests, and even then its seriously flawed. if theres going to be level requirements, it should at least be right before a boss, or some big mission, but NOT from traveling to another island, but even then, if you fought a boss while being underleveled, you can just leave the island and go grind levels
What Arcane Reborn did better than Arcane Odyssey is letting the Arcane Government keep their vanities, Gravy outfit looks so dry that we get mistaken as NPCs.. still loyal to the Grand Navy tho
Being able to save cargo on a ship means that I can hop on my friend's ship and respond my boat at the sale destination. This eliminates all risk for cargo so I have to disagree on that one
It's sad to see reborn in such a state. It was finally its own thing and Vetex goes back to arcane adventures. I respect the team that did reborn and its quite sad to see the community and players it fostered all leave it. I don't know a single person from its hayday that still plays it.
Honestly, my only opinion with this is that I like AO and WoM because they aren't dungeon crawlers or have that function. I like the real open world feeling in it.
That ship despawn mechanic issue with cargo could (to my stupid observations, because I am not a developer) be easily fixed by instead of automatically de-spawning your ship, it gives you a "Dock [Ship Type] / Despawn [Ship Type]" button so you won't lose your unholy amount of cargo you have on your ship, but still have the luxury of being able to despawn your ship by will without needing to die/reset in AO.
This could be abused since the way spawning works in ao, you can immediately go back to Ravenna as u reset and then just sell cargo there. But there is a solution where this could work. I just don't know it yet.
i think that problem is sorta mitigated in odyssey where you cant re-dock your ship if it still has things on it so they can kinda make it lso that if there is still cargo on your ship, it would still despawn
I played AR when it was in beta and it really was just AA redone, and it has been amazing to see the devs go from an AA copy to really start to build their own game and community (also i am so glad i got the beta band cause it is such a good hybrid equipment to have throughout the game)
yeah in arcane odyssey they dont want boss to be to insane also they want player to learn but cannot be to hard on them and the different when u fighting argos as example when u was level 80 and level 125 is way diff cause u are tankier but that mean when u fighting argos in level 125 u will notice that u starting to understand slowly how they move and already remember the movement this will help player to make new character file.-accept lord elius got me cry already in 2nd phase even tho i got him to 1/4 health wat da hell
i think the cargo issue that you mentioned is sorta fixed? in odyssey where you cant redock/customize/change ships while there's still stuff on your ship, they could just implement the mechanic of faster ship despawns and it would probably work perfectly the only issue that i can think of is the ship just despawning as you just walk on it but that might be easily prevented
I agree with the ship spawning idea and I also think they should change the way players spawn after dying. If your spawn point is set to ravenna and you die somehow on a far away island than you will have to wait for your ship and sail all the way back which is tedious imo.
As someone who use to play a lot of arcane reborn i double tap dash on accident as often as i do for arcane odyssey the dungeons in arcane reborn are ass they dont have any good loot to farm that isnt in the 1/500 range of chances and arent fun at all because of how the bosses are made and are mandatory to progress the game so playing solo is like pain and i dont have a problem with ship not reseting when u get of fthem because i dont forget where my ship is but after u die it should be like 1 minute cd on when ur ship respawns
Also i dont like the idea of ships despawning if u not on the wheel because i get off my ship and check my items alot when im sailing in a straight line it be real annoying for me to have respawn my ship just because im not driving it

A good way to go about the cargo point is to probably make it so that everytime you have cargo on board your ship, a button appears somewhere on the screen to despawn it, and if you press it, you'll have confirmation if you're sure you wanna despawn it despite the cargo onboard. Other than that, great points!!
3:50 Oh boy. This pretty much breaks the game for me sometimes Arcane Odyssey is great. It has lots to learn and improve, but to me it is a general upgrade from Vetex's previous project which conquered my childself's heart. But the dash system just sucks the way it is implemented. They made bosses/mini-bosses very smart (in roblox terms), they have articulate fight moves, dodge and are all-in-all actually menacing So you better be on your feet! But the dodging is so volatile you have to be really careful, you can be dynamically moving around to make sure you are avoiding the boss's attacks and then bam...aciddentally dodged yourself out of the arena. And if you're fighting in the sky islands...oh boy. Have fun falling down to the sea and having to reset yourself or climb back up, and lose a bunch of money because of it the first time you fall. It just ends up being a frustrating mechanic
Respectfully, I disagree with all these points. FIRST OF ALL, if you don’t like wx2 dashing you can just change it to shift, it doesn’t take long to get used to. SECONDLY, dungeons will make the game to much of a bandit beater. I mean, killing the bandits at frost mill to level 40 makes me want to die(exaggeration). Why would you want that to be a big part of the game? Some might say that to level 83 and 93 and 119 are also there, but those are parts of the story where they want you to explore get better gear and prepare for and epic boss fight or awakening. Also Vertex is working on how they can make frost mill bandits to level 40 quicker or change it entirely. LASTLY, if you could just get cargo from red wake and reset and spawn at revena and sell your cargo to double you galleons every time? Don’t you think that could be abused? The amount you can get from cargo shipping is crazy and is supposed to come with risks. Tanks if you read the whole thing lol.
Arcane reborn has more players I don't think it counts the players in first sea seccond and third together since they're different servers if u know what I mean, the arcane reborn is the chance creation thing/screen
it does count if you dont believe it look at the the player count then look how many people are on the roblox server list then check the the in game server list and add the first sea player and second sea player count together, you will see the majority of player will be on the first sea and the second sea while there's either 1 server or non at all on the roblox server list
The dodge movement is better with shift, which you can enable in the settings. and yes it's inconvinient at first but it's 100 times better when you get used to it
Arcane Odyssey is also early access, and specifically says that balancing and tweaks like what you mentioned are going to be added later Also, pretty sure dungeons are in the trello to be added way later, just sayin
I kinda disagree with idea of dungeons, cuz AR is NOT A CANON, devs can put anything in it and it would not change anything in arcane universe, but AO is a canon, and the story is only about one player, but AR type dungeon is a very hard for newbie to complete solo. Even the story is not about dungeons, it's about destroying order, which have powerfull members from all war sea, story simply don't need any dungeons.

Bro arcane reborn has already no point. Arcane already is reborn in Arcane Odyssey. Arcane Odyssey is just better, it has like 3 weeks of living but they added so much stuff, but this ain't all their work to do, only a single part. Also because of the big update of Arcane reborn I lost 99% of my items and especially for some reason EVERY legendary item. Arcane reborn is really dead, last time I saw it there were 26 playera online, and I think they are still there because they are saying goodbye to their progress. Arcane odyssey also is just created by the creator of Arcane Adventures so yeah that's it
I mean AO just released not very long ago and as of now all you can do after beating the game is grind save files before Kai and Merlot farming gets patched, or min-max you stats, gear and ship. Or you can grind fame and bounty. Makes sense player count would drop a bit tho as of typing this comment 19k players active is still a large amount compared to some other games. (Tho I agree its player count has dropped a good amount since the highest I saw it was at 30k)

@@Jonesloto You know what Vetex REALLY needs to take note of? the server list feature from AR, this makes it so that if your either an adventure type player who preffers a low player count, or a PvP player who wants some action, you can find a server and go there, heck if your trying to find a server with enough space to play with a group of friends, you can do it. But AO? its completely random, not even the website server count can see the server count anymore, its just the lobby, which in my opinion is pretty stupid.
I think AR had a brilliant future if Azlan (FlameEmber06) didnt gave that much freedom to the devs. The devs started being a pain in every aspect and everyone disliked them for how biased everyone in their clan or their friends in general were. I have like 1.3k hours of AR and i dont think the game sucks, Vetex in the other hand is a better dev than Azlan 100% though. AO is better in every aspect being a Early Access game
I'll go into further detail in another video. But the way the code worked in Arcane Adventures, roblox didn't allow it anymore and so it broke arcane adventures.

The devs abuse their power, giving extreme bias to members of their clans. (If you want to try to say they dont, ive seen a clip of one of the devs spamming legendary weapon moves at above max level to infamy farm. You cant trick me.) 3 = Vetex ALONE is a better dev than the entire AR team several times over, and in the time it took Vetex to release Odyssey, they released... one major update. just one. and it was a fucking REVAMP with barely any new content. They took that long to release a mere REVAMP while Vetex was creating a new game with almost no help, and before you say he had alot of systems already made for it, he still had a TON of work to do. In summary, if you think AR is better then AO, you are clearly brainwashed.

I liked how you could use magic, weapons and martial arts at the same time in adventures. About dungeons, I think Akursius Keep could be one.
Using everything at the same time is the "Savant" build in arcane odyssey. You can do this.
but if u are using savant just remember not to put points in vitality cuz armour is waaaaaaaaaaay better

The Dark sea will have a mechanic where u can raid and get new unique drops so I think vetex kinda checks the box in dungeons

So you better be on your feet! But the dodging is so volatile you have to be really careful, you can be dynamically moving around to make sure you are avoiding the boss's attacks and then bam...aciddentally dodged yourself out of the arena.
And if you're fighting in the sky islands...oh boy. Have fun falling down to the sea and having to reset yourself or climb back up, and lose a bunch of money because of it the first time you fall.
It just ends up being a frustrating mechanic
Respectfully, I disagree with all these points. FIRST OF ALL, if you don’t like wx2 dashing you can just change it to shift, it doesn’t take long to get used to. SECONDLY, dungeons will make the game to much of a bandit beater. I mean, killing the bandits at frost mill to level 40 makes me want to die(exaggeration). Why would you want that to be a big part of the game? Some might say that to level 83 and 93 and 119 are also there, but those are parts of the story where they want you to explore get better gear and prepare for and epic boss fight or awakening. Also Vertex is working on how they can make frost mill bandits to level 40 quicker or change it entirely. LASTLY, if you could just get cargo from red wake and reset and spawn at revena and sell your cargo to double you galleons every time? Don’t you think that could be abused? The amount you can get from cargo shipping is crazy and is supposed to come with risks. Tanks if you read the whole thing lol.

Arcane reborn has more players I don't think it counts the players in first sea seccond and third together since they're different servers if u know what I mean, the arcane reborn is the chance creation thing/screen
i think playercount counts for everyone in the entire universe tho not just the start place. correct me if i'm wrong
it does count if you dont believe it look at the the player count then look how many people are on the roblox server list then check the the in game server list and add the first sea player and second sea player count together, you will see the majority of player will be on the first sea and the second sea while there's either 1 server or non at all on the roblox server list
cargo is already that good after they increased the despawn time after death, it won't despawn no matter what to do as long as you're alive
i personally actually dislike the dungeons and prefer the bosses in the open world
The dodge movement is better with shift, which you can enable in the settings. and yes it's inconvinient at first but it's 100 times better when you get used to it

I really wish you could despawn your ships, a way to do it that i was thinking of is adding a button to shipwrights to despawn your ship.

I kinda disagree with idea of dungeons, cuz AR is NOT A CANON, devs can put anything in it and it would not change anything in arcane universe, but AO is a canon, and the story is only about one player, but AR type dungeon is a very hard for newbie to complete solo. Even the story is not about dungeons, it's about destroying order, which have powerfull members from all war sea, story simply don't need any dungeons.

bro its so easy to add a dungeon into the story, for example, they can place an order leader inside of a dungeon. dungeons are generally a pretty cool idea.
ships should only be able to despawn when items are not on them, and when you die (even if there is items on it) the ship will respawn with nothing on it.
Ppl complain about level requirements but think about it , alright u will go defeat all the bosses get all storyline exp and then what? U're gonna grind all of that exp anyways
Literally the only way this point could get negated is if you have friends helping you progress through the game. Majority of players will get dogwalked trying to speed run the game if the went to fight bosses at low levels

Bro arcane reborn has already no point. Arcane already is reborn in Arcane Odyssey. Arcane Odyssey is just better, it has like 3 weeks of living but they added so much stuff, but this ain't all their work to do, only a single part.
Also because of the big update of Arcane reborn I lost 99% of my items and especially for some reason EVERY legendary item. Arcane reborn is really dead, last time I saw it there were 26 playera online, and I think they are still there because they are saying goodbye to their progress.
Arcane odyssey also is just created by the creator of Arcane Adventures so yeah that's it

I mean AO just released not very long ago and as of now all you can do after beating the game is grind save files before Kai and Merlot farming gets patched, or min-max you stats, gear and ship. Or you can grind fame and bounty. Makes sense player count would drop a bit tho as of typing this comment 19k players active is still a large amount compared to some other games. (Tho I agree its player count has dropped a good amount since the highest I saw it was at 30k)

@@Jonesloto You know what Vetex REALLY needs to take note of? the server list feature from AR, this makes it so that if your either an adventure type player who preffers a low player count, or a PvP player who wants some action, you can find a server and go there, heck if your trying to find a server with enough space to play with a group of friends, you can do it. But AO? its completely random, not even the website server count can see the server count anymore, its just the lobby, which in my opinion is pretty stupid.

I think AR had a brilliant future if Azlan (FlameEmber06) didnt gave that much freedom to the devs. The devs started being a pain in every aspect and everyone disliked them for how biased everyone in their clan or their friends in general were. I have like 1.3k hours of AR and i dont think the game sucks, Vetex in the other hand is a better dev than Azlan 100% though. AO is better in every aspect being a Early Access game

2 = Arcane Reborn if you didnt know, has one of the most TOXIC communities to exist.
The devs abuse their power, giving extreme bias to members of their clans. (If you want to try to say they dont, ive seen a clip of one of the devs spamming legendary weapon moves at above max level to infamy farm. You cant trick me.)
3 = Vetex ALONE is a better dev than the entire AR team several times over, and in the time it took Vetex to release Odyssey, they released... one major update.
just one. and it was a fucking REVAMP with barely any new content.
They took that long to release a mere REVAMP while Vetex was creating a new game with almost no help, and before you say he had alot of systems already made for it, he still had a TON of work to do.

I think by releasing game as a "early access" means hey we made a game but its not done yet! Can you tell me the basises of game is good? Also in my opinion vetex was about to release the game later but everyone wanted to try it. And its better to lose all of your cargo when you die because they give you money for the risk so its sensible. Also I didn't understand the part you said when you left ship it despawns, its not true your ship will stay until you die. Also dungeons is a good idea but there in the world you can claim islands and build something and people can bounty hunt you. You shouldnt enter the dungeon from open map they should make a special lobby for it.
