- Hey guys! Sorry I missed last weeks uploads, I was very busy with some other business and did not have time to shoot/edit videos but we are back and this video is a long one! We talk a bout how to order/build your 2021 Mercedes CLA 45 AMG if you were looking to buy/order one yourself. Although mine is a 2020, majority of the options are the same and nothing much has changed at all.
I go over exterior, interior and some other options that are available on this car, specifically my own views on what is needed and what is not just based on my experience with owning this.

1. I have this option on the car and love it, it 100% worth it.
2. I have this option on the car and hate it, but you should still get it since the base option would be even worse.
3. All other options that I don't have on the car but I wish to have them.

You forgot to mention having the optional Parking Assistance Package provides autonomous parking (Active Parking Assist) in addition to the 360 camera and miscellaneous sensors around the car. THAT is a huge plus for those that need help with parallel parking, etc. I agree with you that it's ridiculous such an expensive car doesn't at least come equipped with rear bumper sensors as standard.

For the record, if you do not opt for the AMG Night Package, the diffuser is still black. However, the exhaust tips are chrome.
Nice group of videos on the AMG! I missed the details on the break's specs, which seem improved from the stock as part of the AMG Dynamic+ package. Any comments?! I'm coming from 6pistons brembo, so the stock breaks here lack that bite, was hoping the optional you have was more than just a paint 🤙 thank you!!!

I don't know what other cars' sound systems have you heard, but that one Mercedes I've set in which has a Burmester sound system, it sounded awesome imo. I could literally feel the bass in my lungs, and the sound was really detailed as well. Maybe I haven't heard the really good sound systems yet.
The older Mercedes sound systems were better before, since 2017 they've lacked a bit

Bro I’m currently in the process of building and sending off my build this week to my local dealership and you literally only saved me $550 😂. I went to my dealership yesterday and they looked at me crazy for wanting to purchase a 72,000+ cla. But idc. This car will have everything I want and need for the next 3-4 years. Thanks for the advice though.

I've been playing with the options of CLA45 recently. There are 6 upholstery options and I think what you have (Black MB-Tex/DINAMICA w/Red stitching) is the only one that cannot go together with the ventilated seats. I wish it could as I love this upholstery the best cuz it's the only one with red seat belts.

Don't know about CLA, but my yellow AMG A45S has no spoilers pack, cuz I wanted a sleeper, totally sleek looking, but has a sports seats, and they are comfy, too. Having them, you won't need cooling vents option bc of the seat materials. Enjoy your beast.

I have 2015 Jetta and I’m happy with the sound for music so I’m sure I’ll be happy with this sound for music lol
Don't forget to mention you HAVE to get the Night Package in order to get the Aerodynamic package which ends up costing a total of $2,800 BECAUSE you also are forced to pay a minimum of $500 for the twin 5-spoke matte black wheels unless you go for the more expensive forged wheels like you have. I think this is important for people to know in case they think they can just pay $1,550 to get the Aero package because they cannot. It requires all the rest of it as I mentioned. Just my 2 cents.

What do you think of the high end Performance Seats in my opinion they look gorgeous and very aggressive perfect for an AMG, but I know they‘re expensive xd

Great video! Good voice quality and video but video is just a bit shaky? Maybe a tripod would help! Also always scared when someone says they’ll show you how to build a business cuz I got scammed for believing someone 😅
It’s because it’s so cold out, this was shot at 20 degrees so I was freezing. Tripod makes the footage to stationary and boring. My channel isn’t selling a course, it’s just my adventure of making a business

Mine is arriving later this month... in my caee i had to decide between the performance seats and the amg dynamic package and went with the seats. I’m never driving at top speed and the breaks i dont know how big of a difference would make. I would have really liked the race mode but im happy with my build.

Picked mine up off the lot and it didn’t have the exterior lighting package 😭 not having auto high beams on that expensive of a car is a total bummer because my old 2011 toyota had them
For the exterior of my cla45, I went with a night black exterior with the 19in. amg rims in matte black, I decided not to go with the exterior lighting package mainly because I don't think it's worth $900, I did go with the night package as well as the aerodynamics package. For the interior, I chose the same seats as your leather with dinamica suede and the aluminum amg trim. I also really wanted the performance seats Sadly it was outta the price range that my father gave me :( so I opted for the standard seats. Options I went with the multimedia package and the Burmester surround sound system, parking assistance package and the last option for my cla45 is the Amg dynamic plus package it was this option or the performance seats, and honestly I really just want/needed the Amg dynamic plus package! Well, that's my build should receive it by June :)

422ps in the S model. It makes a difference in race mode.

So upon viewing this video I have gathered that you recommend pretty much every option available except the wireless charging and illuminated door sills. LOL : ) Honestly that is kind've why some people bash this car because it costs so much when adding all of these options.

@@yaboibakalli Well in my case, if I end up pulling the trigger on this car I'm gonna keep the options to a minimum. BTW, the costly AMG Dynamic PLUS package is $4,300... BUT, you are also required to get the Multimedia package for an additional $1,295 so it's definitely $$$.

If the CLA 45 dosen't come with the Dynamisc + package, whats the exhaust note going to be? If theres no way of changing it does it just not get the sport exhaust and the good noises?
I really enjoy my CLA so far even its "only" a regular 250 non amg... I will probably going for another one in the upcoming years when they bring out a facelift modell... CLA 35 will be my next step :)
Its always funny how people hate on this car here on youtube like "its a cheap trash car, not even a proper mercedes benz".. I have not a single Issue with this car and im at 26.000 km now...
By the way: for me the Burmester System is kinda good, its not Highend but this was clear from the beginning... if you go in the E or S-Class, the burmester System costs like 5000 €, thats the highend stuff.. sad that we are not able to get that in the CLA, we only get the "cheaper version" of it... but the sound is totally okay for me and im audiophil too...

I had Burmerster on my 2020 C300, and it was really good, better than the BMW Harman Kardon I have in my 440.
Interesting, I tried the c300 and found same issues wit mine. Perhaps american spec sucks?

Another great video review, thank you. I have been meaning to ask you if you have had the annoying problem of your multibeam headlights misting up on the inside in cold and damp weather. I have the same units fitted to my CLA AMG 45S and can guarantee that whenever I use the car in this sort of weather the lights mist up inside thus reducing their efficiency. It takes a day or two for them to clear. You have much colder and damper weather than where I live in the UK and I would welcome your comments on this problem and whether you have had similar. I have not yet tackled Mercedes about this matter. Thank you.
Thanks for watching. I do no typically notice any sort of condensation within the headlight much at all, in some cases I do but only when the temps fluctuate a lot. Majority of the time they are clear.
Sounds like you may have a crack or gap where the lights are, as that shouldn't happen at all if honest. Since it's been a while, how did you deal with it in the end?

I’ve got the Harman Kardon sound system on my 2018 CLA 250 and I think it sounds great with pretty decent bass. So you’re saying this Burmeister is not even as good as the HK?

For the people concerned about the Burmester sound system. He is not being dramatic it does suck. I couldn't believe how disappointing it was. I even thought I had a faulty speaker or 2 but I messed with the settings and directed audio to all sides, front and back they all work. The system just Sucks! I had a 2007 Toyota Camry with the premium JBL system and that system was amazing... so loud, clear, crisp, and bass for days!! When I did my service A and got a loaner from Mercedes they gave me another 2020 CLA but it was base model and the weird thing I found with the base audio system is that it actually gets louder than the premium. Not better, just louder, so yes the base is extremely shitty. However on my Burmester you have to turn it up to about two thirds of the volume before you can even really hear anything whereas, the base system the volume at 50% is already really loud....but shitty. So yeah the Burmester is a bit more polished and refined, but it just lacks sound and bass. It's very quiet and it annoys the hell out of me. Mercedes needs to fix this for the money we spend on these cars.
Thanks for defending my position, I had a lot of people say I was dramatic but man this system is soooo bad! Especially for what this car is, it’s unacceptable by mercedes to do this. They need a service fix or something for it, replace the current system cause it’s awful.
@@unicornunicorn466 wow what timing. Today I dropped my CLA off at Mercedes Benz of San Diego for its 40k mile service. Yes I know I drive alot lol, I might have the highest mileage 2020 CLA. Anyway they gave me a nice black C300 as my loaner. It has the Burmester sound system in it and MAN what a difference. I can actually feel bass! Not only that but I find the max volume to be too loud for my 36 year old ears lol. This is what I was expecting in my CLA. But I guess they wanted to save money on the base models. And yea I get it, the C class is a step up, idk still. Good thing I will be upgrading to the 2022 C Class in 8 months when my lease is up on the CLA.

AMG Dynamic sport package is nothing like the S version lol. It's a waste of money. The only good thing about it is the raised speed limiter. which can be done with a tune for a 1\4 of the price.

One thing I think is absolutely stupid for the American market is that we cannot get the silver forged cross-spoke wheels with the AMG night package. I've seen it spec'd that way in other markets, even in Canada but nope, not here in the USA. We have to get the twin 5-spoke matte black or the more expensive matte black forged cross-spoke wheels like your car has. Make no mistake, those are awesome rims but you have to pay $1750 for them on top of the $750 for the Night Package. I'd like to get the silver wheels for $1,250 but with the Night Package.
Oh and the silver/chrome version of these cross-spoke wheels are not the same price. Black ones are $500 more for some reason. But as I said, you can't get them with the Night Package which sucks.

Guys I wanna buy this but I like comfort I’m not sure how is the comfort in this car or I’ll buy the e class 450 got air suspension and I wanna tune it it has I think 380 hp but I wanna add another 80 or 100 hp to it simple tune nothing crazy and risky just make it over 450 hp that’s all I want anything over 450 hp for me is useless just a little quickness is nice to have I like comfort and sport mode so e class seems like the better choice it got good handling and everything already seen reviews and good price now some comments will say buy the e63s but I don’t wanna spend 120k and up Canadian or don’t even have that money I wanna finance something nothing over 80k my payment has to be 1k and under a month

It’s going to be pretty good in terms of reliability imo, cheaper to run than lost amgs as its closely related to the a and cla class
