Great looking vehicle EV. Should sell like hot cakes in the USA and Europe.
Hope so! Would be great for the company. I love that they are pushing efficiency of range.
100%! Once you go minivan, you don’t go back!!!
With all that glass on the roof, I hope it has a good AC and heater, also since it has 3 rows of seats hopefully the air/heater distribution is robust enough to get the air/heat back to the 3rd row of seats. I live in Arizona so a robust AC is a must, we had a 1997 Toyota Previa minivan, and you didn't want to ride in the 3rd seat in the summertime. In the front frunk, they should have put two usb-c charge ports, but looks like they didn't put any charging capability in.
It will be the selling SUV in US 2025, no doubt
If they can actually deliver what they promised. I unfortunately don’t believe they will. They’re at a critical stage as a company. They forecasted 14k cars last year and only sold 6k. Their sales figures this year are even worse in terms of percentage off forecast. The stock is $2. My bet is they get acquired for, likely a 1/3 of the valuation they have now. I just don’t think they have the capability to produce these in significant units and they’re burning cash faster than you can physically burn cash. I like the car but I don’t think they’re going to make it unfortunately.
Very sharp looking mid size SUV. Prob going to sell a lot of those.
Yeah, I think they will! Honestly, this might be even bigger than a standard midsize as far as room inside.
Great looking, 7 passengers, finally..Cybertruck blew it there. This economy we need to move bodies, food, equipment and be a road worthy ride. Doggo's will luv that luv seat, kids too..
Completely agree! Need more people mover EV's that truly fit the family!
I don't understand the aversion to minivans. If you need the passenger space a mini van is just better than an SUV. SUVs feel like death traps on the highway if you're in the back. This vehicle is absolutely huge.
Gravity is actually much smaller than other 3 row SUVs... if you look at their recent video ("The Studio: Maximizing Space"), there is a side-by-side shot of Gravity next to Air, and it looks only 20-30% taller. You can tell Lucid did a lot of work to not expand the width/cross-section of Gravity, and that pays off with 400 mile [target] range.
I would love for this to have sliding minivan doors, but I would be willing to accept this. VW ID.Buzz is the only EV minivan on the horizon, and I'm worried it is too big to have competitive efficiency.
Meh, minivans will just never be cool enough for people to pick them over SUV’s. You can sit the same amount of people in many SUV’s. They should rename the segment tbh. The term “minivan” is just never going to be something that gets anyone excited.
This things cool
Yes, it is pretty sweet! It has so much storage functionality. More than any other EV currently out there other than the R1S I would say. There is definitely a place in the martket for this.
@@EV-365 Doesnt it have more space than an r1s
Mate, i would like to know ur first impressions of gravity?
Really liked it! Didn’t get to go inside of it but it looked great. Really nice on the inside, and tons of room!
Hmmm so this is competing with the Cadillac Escalade IQ....Interesting....
I would say with the Escalade, the Rivian R1S, and Kia EV9 along with the Gravity will be the comparable vehicles.
@@EV-365 the upcoming Hyundai Ioniq 9 as well, similar silhouette to this (and the old Mercedes Benz R-Class).
@@EV-365 I dont think so much the EV9 but more of the upcoming Genesis variant
once its on the tesla charging network they will sell a lot of them.
Wait where is your lucid air?
A sad story of selling the Air to make room for the Fisker. We are stuck with the Fisker for now! It really came down to the Rivian R1T and the Lucid Air Pure for us for personal use, and I opted for the truck. Honestly, loved both. If we wanted a sedan, we would have kept the Pure and been very happy!
@@EV-365 Gotcha! I am picking my lucid up tomorrow and was following all of your lucid videos to get some insights before purchasing :)
@@cchs2000 Thanks for watching! And glad some of it was helpful!!! Nothing like watching TH-cam videos while waiting for delivery!
Did you ever get your Fisker up and running?
Hard to believe Lucid can continue as a viable company much longer, their sales number are tiny. I see Lucid being purchase by Ford, GM or Toyota.
They have over $5 billion in cash. Should be plenty of money to survive until they deliver the Gravity which will sell much better than the Air because it’s an SUV.
@@peterwright837i agree. I hope it sells well. Range, features and size will beat the other 80K+ SUV’s in its class and the ones that will be 115k won’t compete at all with it.
Lucid suffers from poor quality and suddenly stops, the worst car ever
you are talking about tesla that often DOA with HW4
Did not experience that with mine. Now the Fisker we have...
I don’t have any problems with mine. I have owned four Teslas - a roadster and 3 Model S. Software isn’t nearly as good as Tesla, but the rest of the car is better. Range, finish, fit, styling. All better.
very expensive . There are cheaper, better looking and better quality products instead
Such as…….? There is no electric SUV that can match the size, range, and luxury of the Lucid Gravity currently/ entering the market. The closest competitor is the Tesla Model X, and Cadillac Escalade but the price is nearly the same.
R1S and Kia EV9 are probably the other two. Agreed, they will all cost out pretty close to each other when speced out the same. Lucid will be an efficiency beast as well.
Nice need UK spec
