    People who can afford the Lucid really just need to sit in one and then they are sold. The interiors are such high quality and designed so smartly that you don't get the feeling that this company has has only made one (soon to be two) production vehicles so far. Props to Joann and her team!

      I wish Tesla stepped up their interior. The model 3 highland is cool. But it’s nowhere near luxury feeling. I have a Tesla model y. And it’s great. But it’s absolutely not a luxury vehicle. It’s a pretty standard and minimalist interior. But to call it luxury is reaching

    I’ve had a Lucid air for over a year now and can’t say enough loudly enough about how much I love this car. It’s a dream to take long trips with (I’ve got over 30,000 miles on it already) - and the Gravity is going to be even more comfortable and equipped for touring. This will definitely be our second car geared for our family trips and large loads! Lucid is an AMAZING company and the good word will eventually permeate the EV world - so their success will only increase as time goes on (and as the economy recovers)/

      LCID stock is at about 4,30$, so it doesn’t look great for them. Anyone, with enough funds and time can make a great car, and lucid definitely make some great cars. Selling them at a profit is a different thing, and that’s where I see the problem for lucid.
      Still, I want them to succeed.

      What was the decision reasoning on the sun visors being suctioned the way they are for the front seats? The Model X has been compared to the Gravity a lot, but the visors for the X are mounted to the A-pillar along the headliner. Was there regulation or design philosophy reasons? Additionally, the 5/6-seat Gravity, 4-seat Air, and frunk without the seat cushion have all yet to be seen. Is the frunk incomplete on the model cars? Are the captains chair options going to come out at all, or just in China? I've also been wondering what will happen to the Air when it's time for a refresh, such as, will it get ClearView Cockpit? And what's the story for HighwayPilot? Will it be like AutoPilot FSD from Tesla? Or Highway only? Do the Air and gravity share the same sensor suite, or does the Gravity have more Ultrasonic sensors to compensate for the larger body? Sorry for asking so many questions, but I've never been able to ask things like this to an employee before. Thanks Mr. Rolando, hope you can shed some light.

      @jacobfavreault4067 I doubt he will even answer one of your questions since employees are not allowed to be talking about these things in depth outside the company. The reason why they cannot copy Model X sun visors is simple, There is this thing called a PATENT that cannot be copied to the Gravity and laws require you have a sun visor no matter what in a car just like the headlights + taillights with a steering wheel.

    I have been a Volvo and a Nissan owner for decades, and I drive the Volvo C40 Twin motor ultimate EV for the past 2 years now. I am loving the absolute standout design, form meets function and the overall interior look and feel. All of a sudden my son shot up from the mid 5s to 6’3” and we find the C40 small for him now, though we can drive comfortably with him around town. Long distance is an issue and with the terrible charging infrastructure around fast chargers, this will become a compelling option for us to consider. I have deposits down for the Polestar 3, Volvo EX90 and VinFast VF9 SUVs. The Lucid Gravity, I will highly consider. The 440
    Mile range is compelling and with NACS forthcoming, this is perfect. I’d love to test drive and see a gravity in person next year.

    It would be very interesting to see or learn how it works with a windscreen that goes so far up on northern latitudes. I do understand that when you live near the equator like in the US it's not a problem for an extended period, but when you live close to the polar circle the sun never reaches that high even in the summers and the morning and afternoons in summer with the sun low on the horizon goes from like 2-3 am in the morning until closer to 7 or maybe 8 am, the evening with the low sun is also crazy long, some days in the middle of the summer the sun sets past 10pm.
    And as the sun is not straight up it will be a long time when the sun is irritatingly low.

    • @jamesengland7461
      @jamesengland7461 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Why would the sun being low be a problem???

    • @N0rdman
      @N0rdman 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jamesengland7461 You have evidently not been driving in northern states/countries; that means the sun would be glaring in your eyes for many, many more hours.
      Once the sun gets up on the horizon and above the windscreen/windshield it's no problem.
      But as I tried to describe; as the windshield goes much further up, you would get the sun in your eyes almost all day and as we are talking maybe 18 hours of daylight but with the sun relatively low on the horizon, you would have to wear a baseball cap to not get annoyed.
      In the US in the southern states the sun is practically straight up, 90° up, but far north it would be just above the sun visor midday.
      It may be difficult to understand but here in the north we often experience "sun curves", the sun when you get around a bend is exactly where you need to look to see the road and the cars Infront of you, but you can't as the sun is shining straight in your eyes.
      Even express motorways where the speed is 55 mph or higher the traffic needs to slow down to a crawl as you're literally blind because of the sun.
      This is a dangerous situation when it happens.
      Now imagine what will happen if the sun visor is below to do any good, but the sun is too low on the horizon to be covered by the roof of the car, get it?
