Just got mine stolen on my 2023 CRV in while parked on during broad daylight Queens NY. In my opinion, anti-theft devices should come factory installed, especially for something that is so easy to remove.

What a surprise … Queens, NuYo … Mine (Cr-v 2021) thieves has stolen airbags, one wheel and driver side mirror in almost 2 years … now I have to be prepared to avoid be stole again buying this thing in this video (a neighbor was already stole that sensor on a crv) … I live in Kew Gardens, a neighborhood where rich Jews lives and probably one of the most car thefts neighborhoods in the city … the irony …

Great video, one tip tho i see many people doing this mistake. You can have the plate away from the hole and insert the screw and then screw it while there is a gap between the plate and the hole and that makes it much easier.

Thats a good protection device for your radar, using the nylon nuts wouldve been good enough...its going to suck taking it off in the event your radar ever has to be recalibrated
Yea. I agree. I said to myself, that will be future me problem haha I was so focused on it not happening again that I wanted to put all of everything into it so it won’t happen again.
Needle nose vice grips is the tool for this job.

I was robbed bought from the dealer. Put it in and all it does is flash all over the dashboard. Now what do I do? Dealer calibration?
Yea I’ll go back and make sure they do it right. It should have anything flashing. It can be calibration wasn’t done right.
HONDA should be reimbursing you for that!!

I saw vids on how the radar has to be calibrated. Once the anti theft cover is on, can u have it calibrated? How is the radar working being not calibrated?
Well I took mine to Honda. I bought it from them and they installed it and did all the work. I didn’t want to mess with the calibration. That video was recorded 20 minutes after bring it home from Honda. So sorry wouldn’t be able to tell you.

I wish there’s one pirate to Adapt for 2023 models they started stealing them as well.
@skillstacking I bought a cover from ebay and did it by myself. Now it shows radar obstructed on the screen even I took the cover off 😢

Does the tightness mess with the sensor? Needing recalibration?
No it all worked prefect. I just used it for a 10 hour drive with no problem again 4 days ago.

Quick question, so you did not use the screws that came in with the sensor radar kit. I am looking to buy one from Amazon. Do you think that will be sufficient enough. My radar got stolen too😢
What comes in the kit I think will be enough but I just wanted to go over and above.
