I'll be 71 in July, and I loved the Zombies so freakin' much! It was not easy to interest me DEEPLY** in anything in anything other than The Beatles back then, but The Zombies did that for me! So unique sounding, even though still Beatle-esque!

The degeneration of the nuclear family , over population , loss of love of country , demonic world leaders vying for power , face to face interaction a thing of the past , I could go on but you see my point I'm certain. A fine example are the Olympic games. No animosity between athletes. The countries leaders are the problem , always have been. It would be a nearly impossible task to have all nations unite to thwart the evil and live in harmony. I hope and pray each night having seen the atrocities of Vietnam and the middle east wars as well as the border line civil war the U.S. is on the cusp of now that God and rationality show us the path to peace . Stay well and God bless sir ; there is a glimmer of hope.
I aspire to bring such empowering feelings back to the ear by educating my soul to know this is REAL 🎶.

Colin's name is actually "Blunstone," but I like your misspelling. "Bluntstone" actually makes him sound like much more the hardcore rocker. Besides, him being British, I don't think he would mind the extra "t" as long as you serve it with a scone. Cheers!

Born in 1960 but I still remember stations such as WABC in NY; Harry Harrison, Ron Lundy, and Cousin Brucie playing the music into the early 70s. Still remember my little AM transitor radio. The music in the 60s was great and I listen to it all the time.

Yes, I remember those times and the Chicago Radio DJs. I got my first "little AM transitor radio" in 1961. As I recall it was sometimes referred to & marketed as a "POCKET RADIO"...as in 'gee wizz, a radio So SMALL that it actually fits in your pocket' It was the first MOBILE MUSIC device available to the masses (other than car radios). And the SINGLE-Cord-One-Ear "earphone" was a real trip at the time..You could listen BUT NOBODY Else could hear a thing. LOL..! GLAD you are enjoying the videos. : )

Listening to this classic brings back a simple memory. It was Christmas time in 1965, I was 12 years old, the British invasion was in full swing, "Tell Her No" was my absolute favorite, and I had asked for a pair of "Beatle" boots for my Christmas present. Well, I got the boots and proceeded to spend some of the afternoon walking the neighborhood.
Hey Michael, I was 12 in 1965 too. What a great time to be alive. This was always my favorite Zombies song. 'Time of the Season', was my second favorite because it was just different from anything else I had ever heard. I want to go back and do it all over...

Those "Beatle boots" permanently made my toes come to a point. (that and cowboy boots!) It was worth it though!

When I was in high school and a senior in 64 we spent hours in friends basement listening to his band. Those were the best days when drugs weren’t even thought of yet that is! Absolutely the best music imaginable. Tight Rope by Leon Russell, the Monkees were corny but listen to Daydream Believer-it was the sound of an era. Most of the early to mid 60’s was so innocent. I won’t listen to today’s stuff- too much great music from 60’s, 70’s, and even the 80’s. Peace from a 74 year old Boomer.
Absolutely YAH to all of that.. And don't forget 1954 - 1960... also some GREAT Early (developing rock ) Rock n' Roll.

I will always love and appreciate the music of the 60's. I've felt it since I was a kid in the 80's. The oldies commercials ( funny because those songs were only 20+ yrs old then) I used to ask my Mom to send for them. They didn't have money to burn. They thought it was just a faze. I just liked the commercials. And when I started making my own money at 18 I just started buying it up. All things 60's and lived my whole 20's and 30's listening to this stuff as much or more then current music.

We Boomers are so blessed to have come of age in this era! 18 in 1966.
14 year old in '66 starved of great music in South Africa! Thank goodness for all the pirate radio stations that my little valve radio gloriously picked up. The most underrated group of the 60's. Pop in flavour but certainly more soul and rhythm than the majority of 60's groups. Up there with the best!!!!
I was 11 but my Sissie was 16 and made sure I heard all the music of the time!! She's gone now but this music keeps her alive and near to me!!

I’m seventy -three and I still love this music. I love classical music, opera, bagpipes, doo wop, blues, r&b, rock, metal, pop, easy listening, international music, and some jazz. The popular music from earlier periods, as well as the ‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s just stands the test of time. Some music from the’ 80s until today, 2024, is good but a lot of it is very inferior. I seldom have a radio on now because those in our area play country music, and some migraine-inducing top of the charts. The classical stations don’t come in very well so it’s usually not worth trying. We listen to our own records, cds, and mp3s, as well as TH-cam. I remember when you could turn the radio on and never want to turn it off. 😢 I’m definitely past my “best by expiry date”. 😂

I'm from southern California and back in the 80's a radio station called K- earth 1.01 used to play all these beautiful songs . I miss those days.
