Excellent video! Ignore the idiots posting saying "too much of this" & "not enough of that". They can make their own damn video. This one is AWESOME! 👍
Newer porsches aren't doing this, this is a real truck/ for off roading. I have a sport sitting high, and its does wonders. Great job germans you really nailed it. And drives smooth on the highways ! Nice and quite
Awesome video, unfortunately here in Australia most people are in the mind set you need a Toyota before you can think about going offroad. Fitting BFGs to my Cayenne to get out and about shortly. Love it 👍
Its great surprising people how capable these vehicles are. Good tires are a big factor on how much grip you can really get and completely transforms a cars ability to get out and explore the trails. The custom offroad market for these vehicles is growing like crazy right now. We are very exited to see the future of this market.
I'm in Melbourne and just bought a 2005 Cayenne S to do exactly this. I've always been interested in off roading, but never wanted to buy a bogan "rig".
Check out Forge Overland and Eurowise Performance. Both are on youtube as well th-cam.com/channels/1AE6EtXSkd83LcysxP-WEQ.html th-cam.com/users/eurowiseinc
Great inspiration ! It would be cool to have some of the typical cars presented; eg Still picture with main offroad mods/spec listed (eg rims and tires, suspension etc)
I was going to ask the same thing. My wife recently got a newer one so our son and I are considering building an off roader with the old one. Some ideas from experienced folk would be great!!
Just tossed some 32s on my T3 Touareg and have the EW 2inch lift on the way. I remember watching this video and deciding to trade my GTI in for a Touareg TDI lol. Can't wait to hit up windrock.
Is the owner of the blue one in ga? If it is I see it all the time, especially at a local euro shop that recently closed. Thing looks great in person too
If you get a tdi assuming you’re in the states you can find one with a warranty still on it from the dieselgate fiasco. Idk when they stopped doing the emissions fixes but you might even find one that still has 4 yrs/48k on it. I bought a 2010 Jan 2020 and it’s on warranty through end of 2023 and 28k miles left. Literally almost everything aside from suspension, body, coolant system (unless it’s to the EGR) and cosmetics is covered. And those engines are super reliable as is. Problem is once it’s out of warranty, even minor repairs tend to cost way more than the same failure on another car. Finding a trustworthy mechanic who’s familiar with the car is a must and can save you thousands
They're all easily reliable!! Except for the Touareg TDI V10 version tho. My ex neighbor has a 2006 Touareg TDI with about 140k Miles. Still going strong!!!
I knew, mine is unmodified with the exception of good AT tyres and it goes where a Land Rover or Jeep Grand Cherokees and wrangles will go... no probs...
Maybe, but not like they do. With enough ground clearance and momentum, you can plough through a lot of hard stuff. That doesn't mean it's the right way to do it. In the video, the Porsche did manage to make the rock climb but only going way faster than it should.
@@TheMAPMA The pre-2010 models were known for being over engineered and have a proper low range transfer case. Our Grand Cherokee ratio is 272:1 and the Cayenne is 270:1 Loved and used the Grand all over the place and now do the same with the Cayenne... I'd only wish Jeep and the same build quality this Cayenne has and want the Cayenne to look more Jeep - for my own taste.
I love seeing the Volkswagen awd out doing some serious off road driving!! They needed this for a long time ⌛️

Just got myself a Touareg yesterday! Got it real cheap so its got some jank to it, but I'm hoping to hit the trails soon.
That’s awesome! 957 & 955 are my FAV gen

@@andremedina1596 I agree! The newer ones are more road focused.
Real beasts 💎💪
50:1 crawl ratio , really capable.

Solid axle is the reason. Not many models with such characteristic in Australia besides Patrol and 70 series Land cruiser.
@@enterBJ40 Not necessarily, Ive owned 60 series and 70 series Landcruisers and this with BFGs is still just as capable
In the long run, the IFS system is less reliable than a solid axle. That's doesn't mean this Porsches and VW are not capable.
This was awesome! Would love learn more about the builds. I have an 08 S and would like to hit some trails this summer.

Can’t wait to get back to the states and get another v10 ‘reg!

Awesome video
Thank you! More great videos to come!
Now I need to buy one.... 🤦🏻
nice video guys!!!!!!!
excellent video!! One question, how many inches are the wheels on the Porsche Cayenne? 33”?
18s on mine
Funny seeing me in a video lol

funnily enough its owner is also named Bryson
great video!!!!
Thank you! All the positive feedback makes me motivated more and more every day!
How well did the Atlas do? I've owned two Touaregs (gen one at a T2) and never would associate an Atlas with what the Touaregs could accomplish.
Nice Porsche off road.
Hey… awesome video!! Can you tell me where to get the air hose for the compressor? That looks like after market. Please let me know! Thanks again!
Finding a used air hose on ebay is probably going to be your best bet!
Nice video! How reliable are the cayenne and the touraeg? I have been wanted to buy a cayenne for overhanging, but I’m afraid about it’s reliability!
I bought the VR6 that way it's easy to modify and the parts are cheap

Their very reliable, just make sure u find one that was taken care of and they will last u a lifetime

Is it possible to use a regular air compressor for a replacement to original wabco ones on air suspension 9PA?
Unfortunately not. These compressors go above 2 bar of pressure.
What's the White cayenne s tires size please?
We know! We can go anywhere but limit 4xmation
Awesome video mate! Are you guys still active?
We went on a little break but we are back!
Where can I find the front bumper bar on the white Cayenne please?
Eurowise Performance makes them
@@motorcodeunited Thanks! I couldn't see it on the website. I'll email them.
Great video by the way!
No ! I know
Safari))))
i want these so bad, but it's so much cheaper to buy a cherokee in the US
Comparing a Cherokee to a Porsche. If you don't care about anything else except offroading and going A to B - don't buy a Porsche xD
cute.🤣
Nice event and nice video, but please get rid of the music.
This video really doesn't need it.
Thank you for the advice. We are glad you enjoyed it!
@@motorcodeunited I happen to love the music on this- dope video, I keep rewatching as I wait for my own build to finish!
The music is awesome as is the videography. Don't change a thing. It's excellent!
My mom already has a porsche
Another sound overload video. Can’t stand these music videos when I came to see the car.
It’s obvious these guys don’t even check their own videos. 👎
