My dad and uncle had extra tickets and I decided not to go because I wanted to watch football. Ended up just watching the M’s once I saw what was happening in the 6th. Biggest mistake I may have made. What an awesome game!!
I went to my first Ms game in probably 15 years this season (just moved back to the state recently after being in the Army). It's amazing to see and makes going to the stadium SO much better.

Dodgers fan here, while serving in the Navy I would go on annual cold water dive trips to the Puget Sound (believe it or not the water is freezing below the surface even in September). I took any opportunity I had to make it to M’s games on the weekends and had such an amazing time. I even made some life long friends in the PNW. I could not be happier for M’s fans this season and I’ve been tracking their progress everyday. I also feel fortunate I got to witness the annual excursion of Blue Jays fans for the Jays M’s series. What a spectacle and I would have never known such a thing existed being from SoCal.

This game made me an MHII fan (eventually I mean... kinda hated him for like 20 minutes there). Absolutely love the way he plays, and the fact that he's a home-town kid signed to a long-term contract is awesome. He and Julio are going to be the best CF in baseball for a good long time.
And the Phillies in the NL. That's my dream WS right now. Phillies/Mariners would be so much fun. So much young talent, and so many guys who haven't been there before. Plus the Jean Segura story would be the highlight.

I took a lil breather and decided to turn it back on cuz being a Mariners fan, I know there's always hope, especially with thus years squad. And thank the lord I was able to witness this comeback!! GO MARINERSSSSS!!

As an Astros fan I really enjoy watching the mariners play it is a very fun team to watch very dangerous team I do not think anyone wants to face them they actually could go all the way. They more then match up with the top teams in baseball.

This is hands down the GAME OF THE YEAR. Mariners go up early and look to cruise to an easy win. Los Bomberos the best bullpen in baseball comes in to close it out but a few missed pitches later and it's 2 on and 2 outs. Michael Harris maybe the NL RoTY hits a 3 run blast off the Hit It Here Cafe. But it's fine Sewald will come in and get the final out, nope another blast this time by Grossman (who is bad against righties) to take the lead. But then the not so secret weapon Julio crushes a ball *117* MPH to tie it up and then GENOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Walks it off.

Julio and Eugenio both had 2 home runs in this game. Their homers in the 9th were their 25th and 30th of the year, respectively. That was Julio's first multi-homer game. It was Michael Harris II's first multi-homer game, also.
As a mariners fan this was an amazing feeling that brought me back to 2001 I tip my hat to the Atlanta braves that team can hit they are gonna go deep and most likely World Series bound nice come back by both teams

Was at this game in the JROD squad, so much fun, brought someone along, and that ninth was crazy, almost felt like leaving, but stayed and when Geno hit that hr, the place was popping and i was just hugging random people at this point. We were meant to win tonight! Great win for the Mariners!!

I visited Seattle this past June from Michigan and went to a Mariners games against the Angels. Man the Seattle fans are electric, packed house, cheering the whole game. It was a blast being there. I also went to a AAA game to see the Rainier’s and the fans were just as electric.
That Braves announcer worked for the Mariners in the early 90s right with Dave Neihaus--if anything it was a sort of nod or tribute to Dave since he was calling a Braves game in Seattle.
@Fries I mentioned this on another video, but did you hear Chip Caray (Braves broadcaster) shout out a My Oh My call there? I thought it was a cool Niehaus homage.
Braves fan here. I'm genuinely happy we lost this one. We're gonna make the playoffs anyway, so what if we have to play in the Wild Card? What matters more for the other team, the other group of fans who support them, and anyone associated with them, is seeing their 20+ year playoff drought end. The Mariners deserve that spot, and I so hope they get it. Good luck, M's. :)
You don’t get to set your rotation up for the nlds. That’s the big issue imo because the braves are pretty much guaranteed homefield for the wildcard if they don’t win division

So what? Well, it's a 3 game series for starters instead of 5. Much thinner margin for error. And as someone else already said, it keeps you from setting up your rotation in the NLDS even if you manage to win. I mean making it into the Wild Card series is certainly better than missing out on the playoffs altogether, but it definitely doesn't warrant the apathetic attitude you seem to have about it if you're a serious Braves fan who wants the best chance for a WS repeat.

As much as I was miffed that the 'pen blew a fairly comfortable lead, Mariners needed a win like this to show they can come back from adversity.

Oh believe me as a Dodgers fan, we felt that for a long time. I’m glad Jansen isn’t on the team no more. He blows more saves than Cardiac Krumble.
Braves fan here. I'm genuinely happy we lost this one. We're gonna make the playoffs anyway, so what if we have to play in the Wild Card? What matters more for the other team, the other group of fans who support them, and anyone associated with them, is seeing their 20+ year playoff drought end. The Mariners deserve that spot, and I so hope they get it. Good luck, M's. :)

You don’t get to set your rotation up for the nlds. That’s the big issue imo because the braves are pretty much guaranteed homefield for the wildcard if they don’t win division

Especially for my mom and stepdad who been to every opening day for 15+ years. They watch nearly every game. They are some diehard M's fans.
So what? Well, it's a 3 game series for starters instead of 5. Much thinner margin for error. And as someone else already said, it keeps you from setting up your rotation in the NLDS even if you manage to win. I mean making it into the Wild Card series is certainly better than missing out on the playoffs altogether, but it definitely doesn't warrant the apathetic attitude you seem to have about it if you're a serious Braves fan who wants the best chance for a WS repeat.
