      I'm not sure I know the app can be funky. Sometimes, it's hard to tell or troubleshoot without the device in front of me

    I want to be able to get a microphone inside of a motorcycle helmet, but also have the gopro pick up music and relay it to the stream too. Is there a way to have dual audio input into the gopro, one from my music and one from the microphone? open for some crazy brainstorming here lol.
    my initial thoughts are that hopefully some audio input adapter will let me plug in 2 3.5mm jacks into the gopro, one being the microphone, and one being incoming sound from my phone. at which point, i could get a 3.5mm splitter to have my own headphones too. Any thoughts on if that would work? 😵

    Hey dude! This has been very helpful. I am curious if I can pick your brain on IRL streaming. I am a multi species fishing guide and would love to incorporate 2 cameras , a wireless mic, and a HDMI import on the stream of my garmin fish finder. I'm just lost where to start! I can power everything of my big lithium house battery in my boat for all cameras and have a inverter when big motor is running to recharge everything.

    • @ragnamiss
      @ragnamiss  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm glad this was helpful. Streaming with two cameras can definitely be challenging and will be more costly. You will need something to connect the cameras to like a laptop / streaming system to run the stream and the cameras to connect to. If you plan on doing anything under water, you will want to wire connect the camera u will use and make sure that its water tight. There are water cases for gopro so u can do this ill post some links below. Wifi / Bluetooth and cell service does not work under water. Water blocks the signal.

      So 1st thing u need like I said above Laptop more usb plug ins the better. I know they also make tablets then can handle it as well and download streaming software. 2nd a way to get internet so probably 5G hotspot. 3rd amzn.to/3jDCUCk to protect cable and camera from water. 4th pick cable length u need amzn.to/3jtAvKt 5th amzn.to/3x2EMHU how you attach camera to laptop/tablet. 6th audio amzn.to/3YafCCS and may need this to connect amzn.to/3DGeIFV. This setup can be a little pricey on some stuff but this is my recommended way for quality and performance. This is how you can get two cameras on stream. hope this helped

      @@ragnamiss thanks for getting back to me. Nothing will be underwater but need camera that are water proof as I fish in all weather conditions from snow, sun, rain. Luckily I have the power from a big lithium battery to power everything . When it comes down to it, is being able to read the chat via IPAD up front or off a Bluetooth speaker. Then I need a wireless mic. Any recommendations for wireless mic that has good battery power? Laptop that has good processing and can handle many things including a fish finder that has a HDMI input to add to multi screens on OBS?

    When I connect my gopro hero 9 to twitch via the gopro app and my hotspot the video is almost not watchable because of how shakey it is. When you did the spartan race was the camera shake an issue? do you know if the hero 10 uses image stabilization while streaming? Also great video, thanks for posting it.

    • @ragnamiss
      @ragnamiss  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ya the shake is a issue there is gyro mounts that are suppose to help and another issue I had is water soon as I went under id loose service witch makes sense because the wireless signal can't go threw water.

    Hey great video! Had a question though: How do you connect the GoPro to the 5G? Do you insert a sim card into the GoPro or do you connect it through your phone's 5G connection? Thanks man keep it up!

    • @ragnamiss
      @ragnamiss  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Gopro does not have sim card insert that would be cool tho. Yes u would use your 5G on phone by turning on phones Mobile Hotspot and connecting to it.

    i currently dont have a hotspot plan but have unlimited 5g data... does the app/gopro use the phone's data plan or the hot spot?

    • @ragnamiss
      @ragnamiss  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your phone has a mobile hotspot built in you can find in settings then connects this will turn your phone into a hotspot allowing u to share your 5g with the go pro.

  • @lDubstepTime

    I want to live stream motorcycle rides with a gopro, is the best option to just hotspot my 5g phone? and does the gopro allow external mic when live streaming with it (purple panda mic)

    • @ragnamiss
      @ragnamiss  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I see alot that do that and yes turn on 5g hotspot on phone and connect and yes for external mic u will need the media mod. Which has a mic built in but allows you to also add other extras like lights or a better external mic. But the mic on the gopro10 and media mod are very good mics. You can get a foam cover like this amzn.to/3J3BYxx that I've seen work fantastic

    • @lDubstepTime
      @lDubstepTime 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ragnamiss should I use the media mod or the 3.5 adapter that they sell? I hear mixed opinions about both

    • @ragnamiss
      @ragnamiss  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In my opinion I'd go with the media mod your connection into the gopro is more secure do to being built around camera for what you want you don't want alot of loose wires and the media mod allows more customization if u choose to use for other type of recordings later down the road. Also with the adapter you are talking about you will need to buy a battery door cover like this amzn.to/3J2Ljps to hold battery in. So my choice 100% go with media mod

      You can setup your streamlab widgets like chat and alerts and it’ll work into the stream if your doing streams to twitch. I’ve used and tested the GoPro 10 hotspotted off my iPhone XS Max, and it worked well when I streamed for a couple of hours walking the city streets.
      Only downfall for me was I reached my max speed cap (isps are ripoffs) so lost bitrate so stopped.
      I will switch to a bigger plan maybe 100gb which cost about $100 NZD a month. That way I get max speed and can use the hotspot.
      I will also look at getting a mobile router like a nighthawk mobile router so I can get better 4g/5g coverage then can hotspot off that. I really prefer the go pro 10 as the form factor is way smaller than having to lug around and hold your phone for hours doing IRLS.
