I want to congratulate you. You have accomplished what I have wanted to accomplish since 2011. I have been wanting to create livestreamed tailoring tutorials, and have a first-person-view shot from my head, so people can see what I am doing as though they are looking through my own eyes. It's taken 10 years to get to this point. I am so glad there is an acceptable array of hardware that makes it possible. What's crazy is how much modding needs to be done for something so simple. It's insane that someone has not capitalized on this model and created a one-piece solution to do all this.
I was just thinking about rewatching your old gopro2obs vid to set up a pc building stream and was trying to remember your YT channel when your face magically popped up on my feed lol
I just found this video because I want to start doing the same type of streaming but I want to know, how do you do the voice commands to switch cameras? What software do you use to do that? Also, WELL DONE SIR!!!! This is a killer setup & I'm stoked on your channel. You just got another sub from this video alone... which I actually found because of the previous video you did on this subject.
Nice set up! I am looking to stream in the outdoors with GoPro. I do kayak fishing and I would like to connect two GoPros and stream my fishing adventures. Each camera display different areas of the kayak, one on the bow facing me and the other one from the stern facing the bow. It will require internet connection which I can get from my mobile device and power which I do have and can record up to 10 hours. The situation here is that I cannot take my iMac with me to use OBS. Do you know of any solution where I can sinc two GoPros, control both from my cel phone and stream? The objective is to stream and switch from one camera to the other just as we do with OBS but it must be wireless. By the way I use Restream. Thank you buddy.
I make some simple videos using OBS and I'm looking for the least expensive, but descent quality, streaming camera that fit over my glasses. Any suggestions today? Thanks.
I love your setup. please, what apps can I use to stream using gopro5 on android phone apart from using gopro subscription. I previously used live4gopro, but it seem to not work those days. Greetings from Nigeria
Could this set up be used with two GoPros Instead of using the pc to host? I am assuming I would need a 4G dongle to provide the GoPro with network connection also would I be able to switch between GoPros ?
What would be the best way to get a live view from the gopro to a monitor say onboard a boat (So gopro on one boat and monitor on another so i have a live view) Distances could change upto say a kilometer or so. Any ideas would be great. Thanks
I assume that this would require an internet connection? and its mostly for at home wireless use? I am looking into setting up a stream from a motorcycle and wondering if something like this would work.
So you keep your pc on and how does the GoPro get internet? I want to go Kayak fishing but I will require internet to stream on the go pro obviously. So will the pc provide internet for my go pro or will it still need to be connected to a hotspot? IF not then my phone with 5G internet will be my best option. If you take the time to respond it will save me a headache! thanks :D
Look into a dtap battery option off the transmitter battery. Could possibly use one battery to power transmitter and gopro with another dtap cord. Bye bye anker.
Is there a way to do this for a different network? For example I want to live stream from two different camera in my car whilst driving and have someone control the stream remotely from home
Have you thought about the logitech mevo as a viable option to reduce the bulk? It's fairly new from what I can tell and seems to have a wireless webcam option in the software. I've been looking at getting one myself but not sure what the quality is like or anything like that.
Yea I’ve looked into pretty much any live streaming option. The mevo is really made to stay in place. So I could use that as additional cameras but not as a head mounted camera. Better off using the GoPro like I was before to save some weight but at the cost of video quality and features
@@DetroitTintStudioare you still using this setup? It's very impressive How did you minimize the latency... If you have an updated video I apologize..I have been binging on all your videos
I would like to try that setup to run to my laptop so I can put the GoPro on my son’s helmet on he’s quad bike and livestream it. But at this time really cart afford it. Maybe on day in the future. But thank you for letting me know it is possible. 😮
He did that before.. Said it took forever to get it to connect. + you have to buy software for that. Yes, he had to buy hardware for this, but this hardware is multi-use. The software needed for RTMP was one use only and was a money waste.
It’s a HDMI transmitter so the range is about 300-400 feet to the receiver. Basically will work inside a house or buisiness. Outdoor live-streaming really needs a reliable Cell/Wi-Fi signal.
hello tint, one question, how do you do the rtmp server with amazon aws?, I have looked at the instances and it does not allow me to put that port and if I do what you say ip or url/live/123 does not transmit, if you can help me in this regard I would greatly appreciate it
I have a C70 and need to wirelessly Livestream a giveaway. Can someone please tell me all the equipment I need to purchase? I've never Livestreamed before.
@BaneCodes if you set it up terribly or have it running on a crappy network then yeah. I had it running smoothly at 1080p 30 fps connected to an access point inside while the gopro was in my backyard
Found this trying to see if I can mount a small camera onto my gaming controller with it pointing down. I, ah, don’t think I’ll be mounting *that* to my controller 😂 Really thought there was a way 😢
Thanks for the video, looks like there is no easy way to livestream with gopro9 and not need to use connection to laptop. How dumb and stupid as heck is this gopro? They have the source, money and all and not implementing true wireless livestreaming to an action camera is a true shame!

I guess this is now possible. Quik app > Control gopro > Go live > RTMP. In OBS you can set the RTMP as source.
Keep uploading dont give up!

does this work to hotspot to a cell phone away from the PC with OBS for IRL streaming?
I was just thinking about rewatching your old gopro2obs vid to set up a pc building stream and was trying to remember your YT channel when your face magically popped up on my feed lol
I'm more interested on the voice command/control, would be appreciate it if you can explain this. Your setup is dope!!

Go reciever not hooked up to the actual media mod, so are you doing audio totally not with the gopro (I think so)
Great tutorial!! My hero 9 will not simultaneously charge and live stream video, do you run into this? Assuming not if you have a power bank attached.

Matt thank you for going over your gear. I really appreciate it!!!
What a cool set-up! The future is now
I'm new to all this but my need isn't wireless. I just want to be able to use my Hero11 with OBS and one other webcam on my M1 MacBook Pro. Doable?
Well done. Thank you for showcasing your setup.

Do you have to change the GoPro video settings to 1080P to make it work with the hollyland transmitter?
Great video! Thanks for the update from the other video on streaming from Go pro
How will I be able to add another camera for IRL if I want the go pro on my chest and have a phone for my face
Hi .. Excuse me What do you think about Huper Optik tint films window?
I would like to go live from an arena. Eg a basketball game is that possible where others can watch what im streaming

How about overlays for the stream ?
You can add anything you want in OBS on your PC just like a normal desktop stream, since that is where it's all being streamed from
Amazing! Thank you

If you’re only streaming one camera, you can accomplish the same end result using Mona and VLC direct to OBS all over the native GoPro WiFi.
😍
I am a tree climber I wanted to do this but the helmet is not even protecting the gear XD
