He was 64, taking bumps like he was 25, that's why he is a legend, he never gave up, he got knocked down but kept getting up, I got nothing but respect for him.
guess it shows how skilled wrestling entertainers are as they take hits like this every week ... Stallone's still a boss though at his age doing his own scene's like this
Yeah its quite impressive. for the most part Wrestling now and days is horribly fake, though there are parts that do retain its real features but back when Austin was wrestling (mostly when he was just coming up) things only had started becoming scripted and was pretty much unscripted for him.

You wanna see Stallone's look-alike from Bollywood??see this👇👇he has a face cut almost similar to young Stallone... th-cam.com/video/SUhuTGrQfho/w-d-xo.html
This is was Sly remains one of the best, perhaps THE best action actor. You gotta give him love for what he does. Why? Not only is he a great action star but is also a fine actor too. But the biggest reason he remains a fan favourite is because he still keeps it real. Sly don't need money. He don't need to put his body on the line, taking all kinds of pain and injuries to retain a perfectly intact legacy that already stands as one of the greatest. Sly does this for the fans. He's hardcore old skool and he knows what his audience wants. Being a fan I wish he would calm things down with stunts, but I guess Sly would never be a guy that lets a little thing called age to slow him down. That deserves fans loyalty but above all, respect, from everybody.
Dont forget about The most famous wrestler ever, without a guy who basically did stunts, and choreographed fighting for 15 years, this fight doent go as smootly and seamlessly. The movie was so-so, but this was a awesome movie fight.
Sly has been in the hospital so many times over the years making movies, (even knocked out) ..you know he loves his work, not just a paycheck and wants these movies to look as real as possible for the audience! This makes these type of films so much more worthwhile to me then the actors that always need stuntmen, or CGI! Great job! ROCKY! "One thing you can't fake in wrestling is gravity!" LMAO
Sly really throws it all in for these physical roles. That is why his films are so entertaining to watch, and with the right script, he can really act.
LMFAO.... Stone Cold's face at 4:45. He is like "Oh shit. I think I just broke Sly." I think he even said on his podcast once that he was nervous he was going to get fired for accidentally breaking Sly's back/neck.
Austin has been in much more pain and a lot more injury than Stallone will ever be.That's his point. That as a wrestler, Austin ignores minor injuries because that's what you do in the ring.
Dang Sly can still do it really good even at his age now. This here shows why he remains one of my favorite actors.Him and Stone Cold looked like they did a good job. This movie continues to look epic.
That's why I love Mister Stallone. He will never be expendable, never be replaceable. He was ( and he still is ) an kind of coach for me. thank to him, He learnt me to get up, to challenging myself, like he said. Thank you for that.
Tawfeeq Miskeen: I forget- has the Rock made an appearance yet? He's a day late and dollar short. SC broke that ground. I was hoping they'd get Roddy Piper at one point, sadly that will never happen now. :(
You cannot fault Stallone really when it comes to hard work and giving us what we want to see on camera he was the same in the Rocky movies taking the punishment lol. I was bloody impressed how flexible he is
Rocky vs Stone Cold. Balboa vs Austin. The Italian Stallion vs The Texas Rattlesnake. It’s gonna be a slobber knocker and someone’s gonna get beat like a government mule! I can just hear the legendary Jim Ross calling this one! Sylvester Stallone and Steve Austin are two of my favorites.
Well at the time this movie was made he was in his early 60s so highly doubt he could pull that shit off today. still very impressive for a man in his golden years though.
Sylvester Stallone I love you.You are a great and the best actor in Hollywood California. The all actors of the Expendables are very strongs mens and wonderful actors and you are beautiful man and the all actors and actress so beautiful woman and mens. Many blessings for you and your friends.I am from Puerto Rico.I am Puertorrican.I love you.I am proud of you.Arelys Reyes Serrano.
This is what makes him 1 of the greatest, the dedication he's willing to put in vs stepping aside for a stunt double. He's given us a lot for our $10 movie tickets. It'll be a sad day when he & the other greats; Schwarzenegger, Willis, Gibson, etc. pass away
4:35 I like how Steve Austin picks up Stallone after that brutal shot and looks to his right to see if Stallones ok and then Stallone a little dazed shakes his head and heads out the set . These guys r just awesome .
Wth? Stallone is like 60ish here and he's damn near full on wrestling with Stone Cold on hard ground. Dude is hard headed but that's probably what makes him such a great action star.
Admirable individual doing things to please people. I've got nothing but RESPECT for this guys sly, jackie chan, jcvd, arnold, jet lee and so many more blessed to have you as my childhood heroes...sad to say it but age is catching up to this guys sooner or later we wont see things as before thank you for the legacies you do for us and your family...this guys are at there 70s now but still trying to do there best to give us entertainment. THANK YOU
I liked how they kept it realistic. Austin's character was clearly younger and stronger of the two, no way Barney would win against him in a barehanded fight. Made more sense to see Austin beaten by Randy Coulter, considering the latter's an expert MMA fighter.
Talk about a massive Stallone comeback!!! Man o man, each day i grow more impatient to this movie's release in my country wich will be precisely next week! Waited 10 months for this... Guess i'm gonna watch Rambo 4 again in the mean time.
AND NOT ONLY is he taking a physical beating, he's also trying to keep his head on his shoulders so he can direct as well. Gotta give Sly props man! He's a tough s.o.b. (no pun Austin) who did A LOT for action movies AND wrestling...he definitely helped make Hulk Hogan a household name. Vince McMahon then created "Hulkamania" after the success of Rocky III.
I was 7 when first blood Rambo came, yesterday I saw the last blood, and I feel I am born again, sly for life thanks for motivating me, love from pakistan
tip my hat of to Stallone, not only has he got my 2 fav action actors of all time together in the same film Stallone & Arne but also a hole list of A class cast & after seeing this i new Stallone was tough but OMG what an effort even broke!! his neck & still wouldn't quit. 10 thumbs up :) if this is his last film deff going out with a bang!!
Even he respected wrestling and a lot of people still thinks it´s fake, scripted and fake aren´t the same, that leg drop from Hogan must have hurt like hell
Dieser Mann ist 64 Jahre alt und hat es immer noch übertrieben drauf, dass ist Top !!! Respekt für diese Leistung und diese Karriere ! Tip: Biographie von Stallone durchlesen, dann wisst ihr bescheid ;)
unbelievable... Stallone is a man that lives for his art. This guy needs an oscar
He indirectly has one for rocky, it got best picture but he wrote the movie
He was 64, taking bumps like he was 25, that's why he is a legend, he never gave up, he got knocked down but kept getting up, I got nothing but respect for him.
He was 64
Why do you talk about him in the past tense?...he still is....
Gy
He’s tough but don’t forget he’s also on PEDs like steroids and TRT, which helped a lot, like a lot
@@Cami40
because he isn't 64 anymore, that is proper English

Zainab Hassan u
they take it every day going from show to show
3:38 wow. he is still so flexible. Sly is a legend
Yeap bro
Stallone is a legitimate tough guy.
Stallone is a very tough guy & hoping that he doesn't get hurt at all
He has relatives in Odesa, Ukraine who are my neighbors. He visits each year. He is the real deal as far as tough and a genuinely nice guy.
@kurt neill His mom is Ukrainian.
@kurt neill His mom is Ukrainian
@kurt neill - I know the entire family very well. Good people and all well off.
Austin sounded like he was already fed up with the movie industry here
It's obvious that it's not his passion
He doesn’t have the eye of the tiger
Yep I bet Austin was Bitching more than anyone and probably said, I'm not gonna do that 💯💯💯🙄🙄😂😂😂😂 Stallone's a BEAST 💯
Gets thrown into a post by Stone Cold. "I can do that better." Does it again. That's why we love Sly.

Amigo depois deste comentário eu tenho que aplaudir, voce de pé Stallone merece tudo de bom na vida fazer tudo oque faz pelos fãs não tem preço
He is a very good actor, but the best action hero? No, maybe for you and many Stallone fans, but not generally.
he got an award for The Best Action Movies Star or something like that , he was competing with Arnie
Dont forget about The most famous wrestler ever, without a guy who basically did stunts, and choreographed fighting for 15 years, this fight doent go as smootly and seamlessly. The movie was so-so, but this was a awesome movie fight.
Jackie cha too
The man, the myth, the legend!!!! Stallone will always have my respect and I love all of his movies.

Austin has been in much more pain and a lot more injury than Stallone will ever be.That's his point. That as a wrestler, Austin ignores minor injuries because that's what you do in the ring.
I agree.
Miss Austin in the movie
Both of these two have had their necks broken. Trust me, you don't want one.
I seriously doubt that.
What an incredibly ignorant and retarded statement. Stallone has almost DIED on more than one occasion idiot
Freakin A... that's why we love Stallone. Manning up since the 70s 💪🏽👊🏼👊🏼
The things these guys go through to entertain us. I am grateful 🙌
3:58 Even Einstein came to watch them filming. Lol
He is probably get here so that they won't break physics laws again 😂
You made my day😂😂😂😂😂😂
BIG LAUGHS THX
The Rattlesnake always my favorite tough wrestler.
What an absolute icon Sly is! Looking back at all the punishment he’s taken over the years I can’t believe he’s still going! May you continue sir😘
Stallone is ETERNAAAAAL!!!!!
is a great movie
DAMN YOU AUSTIN!!!
xD
it is not Steve Austin fault that he is great fighting & Stallone is a great when it comes to fighting
I'm pretty sure Steve had to hold back. xD
Vince McMahon wkwkwk
Vince please give " the man ". A match between her and the baddest woman on the planet
Dang Sly can still do it really good even at his age now. This here shows why he remains one of my favorite actors.Him and Stone Cold looked like they did a good job. This movie continues to look epic.
4:46
Austin: That's one tough SOB.
+James Johnson No, Steve is worried that he is injured.
+Dat Phan That too. Still for a 60+ year old to put himself through that...that's impressive.
+James Johnson FYI..Stallone turns 70 this year.
One of the greatest action star ever born . Respect Sir Sly.
Is He Really 60+ ? Tough Guy ! Such An Athlete :)
Yep, 67 years old
What? Almost 70yrs old that's a strong guy for sure
True. We have so few action stars from the ranks who do that these days. Stunt choreography/cinematography has played a large part.
Yeah. I mean it's not only the muscle. Look at his flexibility. I'm 30 and I can't strech my legs that way anymore
72. I know him through his family in Odessa,
That's why I love Mister Stallone. He will never be expendable, never be replaceable.
He was ( and he still is ) an kind of coach for me. thank to him, He learnt me to get up, to challenging myself, like he said.
Thank you for that.
Stone cold even said Sly was one tough SOB
the reson that made me watch this movie was stone cold😍
Kinda wish they hadn't killed him off.
Cretinous Jester yup😔

You cannot fault Stallone really when it comes to hard work and giving us what we want to see on camera he was the same in the Rocky movies taking the punishment lol.
I was bloody impressed how flexible he is
sly perform most of his own stunts in that fight scene
He used that Rocky philosophy in all aspects of his life. The man just keeps pushing forward no matter what.
Tremendous respect for all these actors. All the movies from the 80's and 90's had so many great stunts which are underrated.
Damn...Stallone is a beast
When the Doctor shows Stallone's heavy injury to Stallone on the Screen:
Stallone: 5:18
"Is this old or new?"
ONE OF THE BEST ACTION MOVIES EVER KEEPIN THE CLASSICS ALIVE STALLONE KEEP IT UP
Rambo vs Steve Austin
Sly & Jackie Chan are the 2 Toughest badasses to ever hit Hollywood. I heard Yul Brynner was another one.
I cannot believe that the 72 year old sly could still kickass. 👍👍👍 thumbs up from indonesia
Well at the time this movie was made he was in his early 60s so highly doubt he could pull that shit off today. still very impressive for a man in his golden years though.
Love how Sly asked if his injury was old or new.
Stallone is not expendable , that man is a Legend for 62yrs of age back then to choreograph with a beast like Stone Cold .... 👏
Austin picked up Stallone like he was a toddler.
Sylvester Stallone is the hardworking Star. Best actor very talented.
0:28 Me whenever I watch a recent Steven Seagal fight in a film.

This is why Stallone is a Legend!

Wow, Sly is a legend😍
4:35 I like how Steve Austin picks up Stallone after that brutal shot and looks to his right to see if Stallones ok and then Stallone a little dazed shakes his head and heads out the set . These guys r just awesome .
HIS last word on the question of his doctor..."i have to".....fighter to the end and dedicated to his passion.
I remember Austin fighting Couture. I don't remember this scene at all. Going to have to rewatch it!
WOW!! I have a LOT MORE respect for Stallone after watching this!! Kudos!!
BIG RESPECT FOR BOTH OF THEM👍👍👍👍👍
Wth? Stallone is like 60ish here and he's damn near full on wrestling with Stone Cold on hard ground. Dude is hard headed but that's probably what makes him such a great action star.

Stallone must be 70 plus and I still wouldn’t tangle with the guy. Sure the fights choreographed but those slams are for real.
He is 72.
@@philipcoffman2498 he is 74 now and in filming this he was 63
Stallone is now 74 and was born in 46. He was 63-64 years old during filming of The Expendables

haha the making of the movie is just as badass as the movie itself. Gonna be a movie to remember...bout time we had one of those.
One more expandables movie. Please
Stallone fans like.
Dang injuries after injuries and Stallone kept on pushing for the film. Respect!!!
