I'm glad to see that there are other women out there that truly believe in this concept. It's biology!!! There's a balance - you can be a "boss babe" AND have a man provide for you. You can control your life AND have a strong man treating you like a queen. I mean, being a woman is such a gift. We have soo much power, it's scary to sit and think about. You’re so right about everything!!! I love this channel, seriously! ❤️❤️ i am 17 and i realize i have internalized misogyny. I used to think being feminine meant being weak, and i did everything just to not be labeled as that. I felt men were better than me, and I wanted to prove all the time that I wasn’t “girly” but at the same time it never felt nice to act masculine but I got used to it, it’s like a defense system.
I was a girl Scout, and where I lived we had mixed scout groups. So of course our natural instincts were much stronger when we were together, even more in a camp. I used to compite with the boys and challenged them, but as time went by and I my hormones started to show; I started feeling really really attracted to all of their masculine traits, their strength, their deep voice, their stature, their protective traits.
But they weren’t attracted to me bc I wanted to be like them, I didn’t want to be weak, i wanted to be valuable and strong. How wrong and confused I was. Everything makes sense now, there was this guy who attracted me the most, he was the smartest, the strongest, the fastest, he was funny too, and handsome, every girl liked him. I tried to copy him 🙃 I thought he’d be attracted to me that way. He was a very difficult person so it’s hard to know what he really felt for me. It’s a long story, so I’ll just jump to the part that has more to do with the topic.
Basically he was a provider, and many times I have found myself in a situation where I needed help with assignments that required masculine energy, he felt pleased to help me, he even looked happy, and I kinda had mixed feelings about it, I loved to be helped by a man like that but at the same time i thought I was weak.
And the times I started to act masculine, he started acting defensive and considering me a “threat”, of course he ended up putting me down and getting back his status. I’m a female, masculinity is not my field 😅.
When I was young I would have never thought that to be able to beat a man wasn’t being masculine. Every woman is strong in their own feminine way !
