A cross between a 5.11 shirt and crye precision shirt. The 5.11 shirt is a bit more civvie friendly due to no TRF velcro patch areas on each arm. But Artkis is decent gear and very highly recommended. Nice review bud and i hope you're keeping safe and well.

The Arktis definitely has more options with it. It's the cooler whilst airsofting on hot days. You won't believe how many people mention how erie my timing is from time to time. I have my Kingdom of the Moorlands spies working over time 🤣 stay well brother 🤙
Arktis also have a high street fashion brand, ArkAir. If anything the range of patterns there is more appealing. But they *never* have the common sizes in stock. It's quite disappointing. Why they don't have the Arktis military pattern gear freely available in the ArkAir colours is beyond me.

Before the Covid political fiasco I was working a lot in the Carribbean and Central America. I looked at these shirts and thought that 'all climate' would be extremely optimistic in really hot and humid conditions. I currently live in Western Australia and my feeling isn't much different. Are these really going to be comfortable in say 35C in the field?
That's what I wonder too. The back vent is a huge help when you need that cool. Temperatures here will never be able to truly test this out though. It's a shame a flight to Oz isn't cheap 😂

I was definitely torn between two sizes. I have a habit of being between a large and an XL. I'm incredibly unluck that one is either too large or too small. After a few machine washes by Mrs Moorlander and it'll shrink down to fit perfectly PS. if Mrs Moorlander reads this, just kidding, thanks for washing my clothes

@@BourneOutside 1000% agree. We need a country wide chain like Go Outdoors or Millets that stocks 5.11, Helikon Tex, Arktis, UF Pro and all those cool companies. I can imagine they get loads of returns from customers in between sizes... or like us, just as many customers that just keep the slightly large size they have as it's less hassle than sending it back. Maybe Moorlander Ltd should make that happen :D
If you're interested in the shirt and the price is an issue, definitely give them a follow on social media. They have sales throughout the year and that helps. I picked this up myself during the sale and it was around £60'ish (just checked the email when I bought it and it was £60 plus £6 postage). I think certain camos are a wee bit more expensive but the flat colours are generally the least expensive. I hope that helps

Ive got an Arktis A220 Mammoth Shirt W/ Hood for cold weather and its very good. Its an odd shape until you get used to it, but once you do its great.
Looking to try one this winter. Looks like a great alternative to something like the Buffalo mountain shirt

I have long arms. So actually this would be a positive advantage for me. Usually I have to buy kit from the US which comes in long sizes.
