One of the best purchases I ever made was picking up a British Army DPM Smock while I was stationed in the UK. An upgrade I made to mine was replacing the cotton string in the hem, hood, and body with stronger 550 cord, so I have extra on hand in case of an emergency. Like you I've already been squirrelling away survival items in the many pockets and would suggest something missing from your wonderful list -- an Orange Watch Cap to make me more visible if I'm lost or hurt.
@@jonbroadsword7572 It’s funny you mention the orange watch cap, I was looking at maybe adding a blaze orange small flag. Great suggestion brother! Thank you!
Going back and rewatching your smock videos. I think a smock could possibly be the bees knees for a winter over-white. Arktis pricing is a little steep. I’m going to watch EBay.
Good honest review thanks. I bought one for stalking in Pencot Green zone this year. It is an impressive garment. They seem to have change the waist cinch to internal. Mine are external which is my only criticism ( I prefer all cords to be internal ) It certainly is a very good smock.
@@jon1801 Awesome to hear! So far I’ve been quite satisfied with my smocks from them. Their waterproof ones I like using once late Fall starts and it starts to snow.
@@rostamr4096 The hat tag is from skdtac.com but the Canadian flag is a subdued green I ordered off of eBay. Here’s a link to one. @@rostamr4096 Yes, probably a 2XL then you’ll be able to wear some layers in colder weather. I normally get a Large in these smock but I upsize to XL so I can cold weather layer.
@@robertwood6297 I’m wearing an XL. I usually get XL so I can winter layer a wool sweater or a fleece underneath. If I got a smock that I didn’t want to layer, I’d get a Large.
wow sweet smock brother another well done video
@@subdawg1331 Thanks!
Good review. That little flap in the hood for the bill of a ballcap seems like a great feature.
Thanks very much!

The B110 would be the cheapest, giving you a wind resistant shell.
I like it...

Do you have any links for the hat? :) As a Canadian who live overseas, I love to get one with our flag

Great review, I wish you would also mention the size you are wearing and your height and weight.
This Smock is XL and I’m 183 lbs and 6 feet tall. Hope that helps 👍😁
