Never live with you parents/ in law when you are married, you can visit them daily but never live with them. But if they really nice parents and in laws, there is no problem.
In six months after they move out of the house I wonder if the crazy lady is going to still stand outside the house and scream at the new owners. Who knows maybe Rebecca will join her and make a duo out of it.
She totally sounds like the type who would choose sunshine and vitamins over medical care to treat a viral respiratory disease. I'm no vax nut but when I heard that and how she explained it (or tried to) it all came together
It’s sad that in the American culture family only gathers on “Thanksgiving” and even to that they use sarcasm “hoot at that table”. Low family values if you ask me. Family is not perfect but it is something you look forward too. Yes it involves stepping on your own ego at times. Kids at 18 parents roll eyes and can’t wait for them to move out. Thanksgiving once a year a kids roll their eyes because they have to go home. Oh please...grow up.

I doubt she is trying to kill her husband. Maybe she is just old and doesn’t know better or money could be an issue. Also I have seen that a lot of time parents don’t announce illness because they don’t want to bother their kids. My dad is like this. There have been times when my mom will tell me about it and when I call my dad he will downplay the severity and say all is well. I am just trying to keep an open mind here and don’t blame everything on MIL especially after listening to the lady on call.
