I got to take a tour of Ford's River Rouge plant many years ago. The funniest thing I saw on the tour was near the end of the assembly line. The biggest guy on the line was putting the front fender emblem on with a large rubber hammer, he was hitting it hard enough for the fender to bow in and pop out again. Your remark about the hammer brought back memories of that tour.
Scott im not gonna lie. I like this back to basics garage build. I do hope you got your tools back or paid for those money makers. It is 110% evident i knew like 4yrs ago you were a very skilled craftsman. And you never disappoint with thw narration. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and be well.
It is amazing to watch a skilled professional repair a car, even if it is a Ford. lol My father was a body man for 40 years or so and it is nice to see what he did for a living.
I thought i was on the wrong channel when i saw the mittens 😂 Safty glasses and hearing protection, too? What has happened. It's good to see the car coming along!
I so look foward to Fridays at 3:00 to see your talents and why you do what you do and how you explain the reason why ! As a retired Volvo parts manager I so enjoy learning about how you perceive things and way of doing so ! Have A fantastic weekend with the pizza lady ! Hope your young lady's are doing great in school ! God Bless !
Take an end mill or broken drill bit to remove the weld thru primer off the spot weld area.you can drill it thru the punched hole so it just removes the weld spot.
Hi there Scott, easy as pie when you do it right.I loved this work and wished I didn't get too old to do it. (retired 20 years ago). One thing I noticed was the number of spot welds, two or three times as I remember. keep up the good videos.
This video makes me sad. Someone ran a red light last week and totaled my 89 LX 5.0 that I bought new. The day after I put it's antique tag on. But Hagerty has it's guaranteed value at $13,000. If I get that, it'll be more than I paid for it new. Wish you were here to fix it.
Great to see the Mustang getting back together again. One of these would be a perfect nice weather car for me, those 4 days a year when I could drop the top.... Nice to get to see the structure usually hidden from view. Thanks for another great video.
Looks good thx for sharing.... I work on Old cars for many years.... and OMG what i have seen... And I would love to be able to do repairs the right way. And get paid right to do it that away...
I can't believe how much you can do on that car in a garage. Most shops can't or would do as much. Keep up the good work Scott. Now I guess you need to find a new painting gnome.
a true master. i really wish i had the free time to learn body work. every time i take my cars somewhere im always disappointed in the work. but my schedule keeps me from being able to learn on my own stuff. we need more Scotts lol and now with my deer incident this week. i need body work again.. yay
Here is to hoping that you get a full shop back up and running soon... I love your perseverance and determination to get things done in the mean time. But hope things work out properly and we can get back to screaming off the trailer videos.
Nice, your talent continues to shine through, nice fix, whoever gets this car will be happy with the time and effort you put into this build.great video, just keep on doing your thing.be safe.😎😎😎👍👍👍kudos to you Scott.
Fella from guzzi fab uses a small rubber nozzle sandblaster to spot blast the weld area. Looks like it does a good job cleaning the zinc out for a clean weld. 👍
Grind up and prime that wheel well top and never have to worry about it rusting? What are you talking about, Scott? It's a Ford. It was born to rust! :o)
Love watching how you get things done and you’re no bs attitude to everything, I really admire you work. This isn’t a dig at the job but there been a hell of a lot of work going into this reaper, is it worth it on a car like this. I love seeing cars being put back on the road and I think if it’s your car and you’re doing all the work then it’s no problem but this isn’t the kind of repair you would send to a body shop is it otherwise it would be very expensive
Nice job. Happy to see the rear went on in one go. All the safety going on here. What's up, the neighbours watching? Damn Gladis Cravitz. This Mustang should be easy for you, after all it was Ford employees that put it together originally back when quality was job none. Have a good weekend.
Your videos are more than just entertainment, they are a journey into a world of beauty and wisdom. Thank you for your dedication!Your videos are always filled with deep meaning and emotion. Thank you for your creativity and effort!🐛🐷👏🏻
This was one heck of a build it was a parts car to 95% of people. It brought to mind did you finish the ‘65 Convertible chassis swap? I was wondering if you had a final set of photos, I know it was your side project but if you finished it I would like to see that “after”. Keep on building back collisions vehicle i really enjoy it. Thank you.
I think if anybody could say _"Some has been here before"_ on anything that you have worked on it would be due to the work being better than when it comes straight from the manufacturing line.
@@irongoatrocky2343 The two active ingredients in the Agent Orange herbicide combination were equal amounts of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) and 2,4,5-trichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4,5-T), which contained traces of 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD). The dioxin TCDD was an unwanted byproduct of herbicide production. Dioxins are pollutants that are released into the environment by burning waste, diesel exhaust, chemical manufacturing, and other processes. TCDD is the most toxic of the dioxins and is classified as a human carcinogen by the Environmental Protection Agency. Glyphosate (Roundup) was not used in Viet Nam. Glyphosate was synthesized in May 1970 and was tested in a greenhouse in July of that year. This led to glyphosate being patented as an herbicide in 1971 (US Patent No. US Patent No. 3,799,758) and introduced into the pesticides market in 1974 as a pesticide active principle under the trade name “Roundup®.”

Losers open with the following:
Not gonna lie
To be honest
This guy is unique, quality work, no cut corners.
Well that depends on if he has to make something fit or not.
He literally cut the rear corners off lol
As the owner of an exact clone of this Foxbody, I truly appreciate your work and thanks for letting me see what’s inside my car!
It is amazing to watch a skilled professional repair a car, even if it is a Ford. lol My father was a body man for 40 years or so and it is nice to see what he did for a living.

The vibe in here is everything!
Nothing like watching your video on a warm Saturday afternoon in Perth, Western Australia. Wonderful entertainment, thanks!
Another brilliant video Scott, I'm glad the in and out and over all went well, and no buckled quarter panel, 😅,
Every time I watch I am more impressed with your skill set…..this is an amazing project ! 👍🏼👍🏼

I wonder if Scott's thinking "is it rebuildable?"
"Totaled" is a fiscal decision. A decision that only occurs if you allow it.

Early 60's Ford convertibles had a few hammer marks on their rear wheel wells to clear the 'vert mechanism so I'm not surprised!
Your editing are on point, appreciated it!
My Friday is now complete! I hope all the positive reinforcement for foxbody projects will continue.
I'm guessing frame work makes good money right? A true skill to learn. My weakness is breaking every trim piece while removing things
Awesome project, I love that you're saving a fox body Mustang instead of parting it out!
Looks good thx for sharing.... I work on Old cars for many years.... and OMG what i have seen... And I would love to be able to do repairs the right way. And get paid right to do it that away...
Hey Hey Scottie Ford Day ! Good seeing you again buddy.
I can't believe how much you can do on that car in a garage. Most shops can't or would do as much. Keep up the good work Scott. Now I guess you need to find a new painting gnome.
Coming along Scott. Takes up less room assembled.
Good to see you back rebuilding!
Really great build and a helluva guy building super nice 👍
Pure craftsmanship 👌
You are a true old school body man! Great video Brother
Great job Scott
Glad you're back. AWESOME WORK
Great progress I like the time you take fitting and double checking everything I’d buy something you fixed absolutely ! Thanks John from Arizona
64 1/4 up converts they hammered the wheel wells down,

Thanks for this post. I needed this distraction tonight.
Thank you, Scott!

Foxbody with a TRD sticker 😂
That's a first for me!
Your videos are more than just entertainment, they are a journey into a world of beauty and wisdom. Thank you for your dedication!Your videos are always filled with deep meaning and emotion. Thank you for your creativity and effort!🐛🐷👏🏻
1st gen Firebird/camaro converts did the same thing with the pinch weld so the top can fit....
Got some hidden treasures in that garage of yours...
I miss seeing your supervisor. Maybe you could get her to help with the Mustang 🐎.
I love your work detail. Peace
Happy Friday, Scott!🍻
Beautiful work!
I was wondering why put in this much work on a 1993 Mustang and then I Googled the value. $30k! Wow!
17:47 TRD Sticker! LOL

Is that a 79 Malibu wagon in the back ??my 1st car was a 79 Malibu wagon looking for one with no motor or tranny
TRD Mustag Reminds me of the MCM TRD Laser will amaze ya.
Using a little bit of force during assembly. It's just a ... Ford Thing. Looking great so far!
Must be Halloween coming up, because I don't see any other reason for Scott to be wearing bitchmittens, ear protection and safety gaggle!😂
Why didn’t you use sheet metal screws?
Excellent..
The person with the most seniority probably (well deservingly) got the seam smashing job.
Is that an "iron duke" engine block on the floor next to the tool cabinet?
excellent , love your videos
Great job. Good to see U back. Have lost track. Did you get a new shop ? Best wishes and hello to the pizza girls.
Whats up with your station wagon shelf in the back ground? Are you starting scotts station wagon emporium?
Scott it's a ford. Sheetrock screws will be just fine!
Not gonna lie, a good chunk of my '97 Cherokee near as I can tell was "made to fit".
And I've owned it since new, so it came that way.
I think if anybody could say _"Some has been here before"_ on anything that you have worked on it would be due to the work being better than when it comes straight from the manufacturing line.
Don’t forget to smash the top of the inner fender!
Still waiting for the LT1 wagon...😁
Great Job!!! Thank You…. :-)
Does Scott's Emporium have any Roundup for the weeds in the driveway
Roundup is a known listed carcinogen
@jamestyndall529 you do know that the Chemical compound 2,4-D in Roundup is one of the base compounds used in Agent Orange, right?

Your not the only one Scot, My friends are far and few between, as well. But I work better by myself anyways
TRD sticker on a Ford? Nice!
I spy some bmx hanging in the background, whatcha got there
Gloves and ear defenders Scott? What next, Mr Spotty getting a pay rise? Lol
Hola saludos desde CDMX de 🇲🇽👍 qué buen trabajo 😊
I noticed that Malibu wagon in the background
What do you supposed the letters ZBR-0 indicate?
Excellent 🇺🇸💪
Hey Scott is that a 1980 Chevy Malibu wagon I spotted in the back of your garage? 😊
NASA preferred the acronym HTF - PTM .
Did Ford make the convertible mustangs in-house or outsourced?
I think ASC did them, they lopped the roof out of a notchback if I am remembering it right.
4-nolt wheels?
Is that a Malibu wagon in the back ground?
Probably be better than original in the end. But that aint saying much.
2:20 I like the Mike Rowe Safety Third Conversation.
@ModMyMind Losers watch that clown. He has never worked labor in his life. He lobbies on behalf of corporations... not people.
@ModMyMind Hold on... you struggle with capitalization. You have that trumptard stench. I bet you would gladly argue on behalf of corporations even to your own detriment.
Let's see a video on the wagon in the back.
